Yulka looked up in surprise to see someone. "Ah, n-" she abruptly stopped her reply when she tripped and fell over. With her grip gone, the cart sped up... and rammed the back of her head. Luckily, she was between the wheels so didn't get run over and before the cart got out of control the slack in the tether to the animals was taken up and the cart stopped.

"...Ooowwww." She whined from under the cart. Yulka crawled out from under, and tried to stand, but promptly fell over. She was far too dizzy for that and the back of her head throbbed with pain as she held it.

"Miss!" Virgil cries out, running up to the lady and looking at the back of her head "No visible sign of trauma. Clear sign of exhaustion." he mumbles out loud to no one in particular "You had best go down to the village and rest. Doctors Orders. I'll make sure your cart gets to the village safely." he says, helping her stand and escorting her down the hill, then going back up the hill and grasping the handle of her cart, pulling it down the hill as carefully as possible "I did cause her to lose her footing. Probably startled her" he says to himself once again "I need to stop talking to myself like this."

Yulka was about to protest about... something... but the next thing she knew she was at the bottom of the hill, where she was sitting on the ground. That whole bit was a complete blur. She was having trouble getting her thoughts together after that good conk to the head, which she still held.

After a moment, the bunny kin looked around and saw the monkey kin that had called out to her before. And now... HEY! He had her cart! Was he a theif? Yulka tried to stand, though she stumbled a bit as she tried to steady herself. "H- hey...! Don't steal my... stu...ff...." she tried to call out, but it was far from a shout. It did, however, worsen the pain, before she blacked out and fell over, the combination of exhaustion and head injury taking a toll on the poor bunny kin.

Virgil manages to get her cart to the base of the hill, then notices she had passed out "Looks worse than I thought." he says, releasing the cart and walking over, picking her up in his arms and walking towards the chapel "Come on, miss. We need to have that bump on the head examined." he says, smiling to himself as he stops outside the chapel, nudging the doors open with his right foot and walking in, setting her down next to where he put his things "Now, let's have a look at that head" he says, lifting up her upper body to look at the back of her head, noticing a sizable lump "Looks like your cart did quite a bit of damage to your own head." he says, sighing as lowers her back down, searching through his medical kit and groaning "I don't have anything to cover it with. I know! Maybe I can ask Ilph to make something to help wrap around your head to keep it from hurting." he says, standing and walking outside, stopping next to the Prior "Mister Wulfric, please do me a favor and keep an eye on the lady inside. I need to speak with Ilph about a piece of cloth." he says, then continues on his way to said Spidertaurs hut

Ilphstra's eyes are on her loom and she seems totally absorbed in her work, as she click-clacks away.

"Hm, wha- Lady? There's no. . . " Wulfric's speech tapers out as he turns towards the chapel, walking a good bit before remembering he talked to Lenwe. "I'm sorry, we'll have time to talk later. Apparently there's a lady in my chapel, and I need to eye her." The deertaur walks back into the dusky chapel, a rose window over the altar of Palus the only source of light.

Corwinyth or Meda, as she preferred to be called. She was walking back into town, from the forest collecting feathers and passed Tork on the way. "Hi York, what's happening in town?" Meda said since she could see some carts.

"Ilph. Could I ask for a favor? I need a piece of cloth or something to wrap around a patient's head I'm treating. She was hit on the back of her head and has a sizable bump there. I need something to act as a replacement for a bandage." Virgil asks as politely as he can once he arrives at Ilphstra's hut "I just want to make sure she doesn't hurt it any more than it already is."

Ilphstra's eyes and hands never left her loom, she hooked a green tipped foot back and nabbed a bandage with it, before extending the appendage out to him, "Here is a wrap bandage, we have a few more, if you need them." Then she started humming, and was wrapped in her work yet again.

Yulka faded in and out of reality. Picked up.... Darkness.... Door.... Darkness. Something about bandages.... More blackness. Once more, she came to, with a moan of pain. She stared up at the ceiling an- wait, a ceiling? When did she get inside? Her eyes glanced about the room for a few seconds, before things got fuzzy... and once again back into unconsciousness.

Tork's head whips around, and his face shows complete panic. "What the- shit! Timber! TIMBER", he yells as the tree next to him starts to fall - in Meda's direction!

Virgil takes the bandage, then turns and walks back towards the Chapel saying "Thank You" back to Ilph as he walks "Once again, I find a reason why I survived" he thinks to himself, heading into the chapel and walking over next to the bunny-kin, crouching down and lifting her head up, then tying the bandage around her head and setting her down gently "Now all we can do is hope she wasn't injured too severely." he says quietly, his left hand reaching for his threefold of feathers and his eyes closing as he prays to Marhed for wisdom and guidance through this troubling time

Meda looks a little confused when she notices the falling tree and Tork yelling "Timber!" Meda quickly scrambles to the other side. She manages to dodge the falling tree, but was scraped by a few branches. Meda shivered a little at how close to her own death. "Maybe I should listen more carefully" said Meda to Tork.

Virgil would hear a mumbling next to him as Wulfric bends his forelegs, effectively kneeling before the altar of Dhamid. The deertaur's head is lowered in prayer.

"Shit shit shit. Are you alright?" Tork hurries over to Meda as fast as his legs can carry him. "No, it's my fault - didn't call out at first, didn't think that anybody would be around. So sorry, so so sorry", Tork says as he nervously rubs his hands along his leather chaps as if to clean them off.

Meda smiles and replies "I've only got a few scrapes nothing more." She then points at Mjorna and asked "Tork, are their more people here?" Meda seems excited at the prospect and has already forgotten the tree fall.

"Yeah, a whole bunch of people arrived today. From what I gathered they saw the signs that Wulfric put up. The Prior is going crazy - well, more so than before." Tork shakes his head. "It's why I'm out here, I need more wood for huts and stuff."

"Least the Prior believes in the gods." Virgil mumble to himself as he finishes his prayer "I think I'm going to get some fresh air. I'm sorry to ask this of you, Prior, but please, if she awakens, send someone for me." Virgil says, bowing before walking out of the church and noticing a forest "There seems like a perfect place for me to relax." he says, thoughts and feelings rushing through his mind as he walks, his tail swaying to and fro, in sync with his leg movements "Maybe I can find a nice tall tree to sleep in."

"Ah. Well then, do you want me to wait and help you get the tree back to the village?" said Meda, meaning to help Tork attach the tree through leather to his horse.

Virgil, on his way towards the forest, notices the two standing there, and a fallen tree next to them, identifying one of them as Tork "Ah. Mister Tork. How are you doing?" he asks, smiling as he notices the fox-kin "And who is this lovely lady?" he asks, stopping next to the two

"Nah, I'm good, I'll need at least three more of those to build another hut. And Ilphstra is going to get mad when her blankets get wet again- Hello", he says when Virgil comes along. "None'a that Mister stuff, please. I'm just a carpenter. This is Meda, she's our fletcher and tanner. Built her a tannery a bit down the river." He doesn't want to say it, but it's because of the terrible smell that accompanies tanning.
