Both Aya and Bianca take a shot at the creature, but only Aya's bullet actually hits it. However, her shot only grazes it, like from before, as it leaps quickly through the air, straight for Aya.

It slams into her shield hard, and Aya feels the protective barrier break, but still living to it's purpose as it saves her from being hit yet again.

(Remember, using Divine Shield is like casting it, it takes a turn to concentrate on bringing it up.)
