The creature attempts to take a swipe at Aya with two of it's claws on it's legs, and misses only by a foot as Aya leaps away, out of range of it's deadly swipe.

Aya was getting slightly annoyed. Why coudln't she get a good hit this damn thing? Aiming once more Aya fired again, hoping to hit the things body instead of just grazing it.

Aya next, and final shot went straight into the body of the creature in front of her, making it's legs go limp, it's body falling to the floor as Aya killed it.

Bianca had been watching the battle between Aya and the creature, and came running to her sister, tears on her eyes as she wrapped her arms around Aya's neck, crying into her shoulder.

Both Aya and Bianca take a shot at the creature, but only Aya's bullet actually hits it. However, her shot only grazes it, like from before, as it leaps quickly through the air, straight for Aya.

It slams into her shield hard, and Aya feels the protective barrier break, but still living to it's purpose as it saves her from being hit yet again.

(Remember, using Divine Shield is like casting it, it takes a turn to concentrate on bringing it up.)

With tears and rage in her eyes Aya looked dead at the freak monster. Her last bullet had managed to graze it, however that clearly wasn't enough. If it had been the beast wouldn't of jumped at Aya and broken her barrier. Aya hoped she had enough energy to put another one up, otherwise this thing could very well hurt her, and badly. Focusing Aya slowly began to create another barrier, one the same strength as before.
