Re: Fountain of Mana - English H-Game ver. Ap15 OUT!
I'm really enjoying the game so far and am anxiously awaiting more. I really like the slow pace changes in Ravy's attitude towards things, It's more realistic and interesting to me. The concept of watching an awakening sexuality evolve is pretty hot.
Regarding the idea that it takes talking to the right people while not wearing underwear and/or a bra to push the corresponding exhibitionism "stat", I hope that there is some indication as to when the "right people" have been spoken to. I can think of places where that might be the case but I don't know it I'm putting together things that don't go together. If there isn't normally an indicator, it's an opportunity to add some flavor text an play up the growing exhibitionism. Single sentence thoughts that Ravy has or notes about how she feels when a "point" is gained could really add to the fun and erotic feel. Without this feedback, it's basically blindly grinding points.
Some bugs I encountered:
As previously mentioned, you can dress your dog in women's clothing. While it's funny to imagine, it also seems to effect the dog's stats. In addition to this, some of the clothing you put on the dog will change what Ravy is wearing in her images. (Her equipped items don't change but what she LOOKS like she's wearing does change.)
Anyone who is grouped with you when you automatically travel to your bedroom at night goes with you into your bedroom and stays there until you wake up the next morning. Actually, it seems that anyone grouped with Ravy goes with her anywhere she "teleports" to. This isn't necessarily bad but it probably isn't ideal for every situation. If the dog is grouped when swimming with Ela, his sprite disappears when you "teleport" to Ela's home (but is still listed as in your group) and stays invisible until the timed rescue event in the town. Then he shows back up.
I got into an odd loop with the dog when I first ran into it. After getting the idea of finding some food for him, I accidentally got too close to him again and got stuck in a loop of Ravy taking about his attitude and backing away. This kept auto triggering and she kept backing away until I entered the menu screen and exited it.
Loading saved games is SLOW!!! As has been mentioned, there is a lot of lag in some areas and it seems connected to the number of events in them. Parallel, lag in game loads seems to be proportional to the lag in the zone the game was saved in. For me, trying to load a game saved in the forest or the armory takes 10 minutes IF it even loads at all. Loading a game saved in the tower still takes me nearly a minute.
In a number of places, the large images of the character that appear during a conversation did not automatically fade out after the conversation was done. If its just Ravy then going into the menu and back out will get her to fade out but if it's more than Ravy, I have to leave the "zone" before the portrait of the other character will go way. I can move Ravy's sprite around and interact with everything like normal but I can't see what's behind the image.
Questions:
At the end of Ela's rescue, what happens to the suspicious guys? It's very unclear. I can GUESS that they are dead but I shouldn't be guessing. If they are dead, is nothing ever mentioned about the three "murdered" bodies found the next day? No report was made so only two people know all of what happened.
Walkthrough says you can take Harris(?) with you on the Ela rescue quest but I can't find him anywhere at night. Have I missed him somewhere or is he not available?
