(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Maybe their doing this so that they can pile a few star events in a row along with revivals at the same time to less stress players and get us used to a constant event schedule ..... I can dream right?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Edit: Dang, Lucille's AW art looks nice....

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

The alchemist? Or Lucille?

Well, anyway here's both.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So Liana is now officially skipped. I guess everyone expected it at this point, but still.

Far worse?
. Bewbiez. Birchin hips.
. No bewbiez, narrow'ish hips.
:p

I guess it is that rabbit that throws people off. Fer shame, men! Kuma-san would be disappointed with you!! :D

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

What is even up with Pupuru's shoes/boots. Is she always on her toes or what. At least in her AW art it kinda looks like she as a little room, but looks super painful.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Three farms events in row (not consecutive thanks to F breaks) a bunch of units skip, no answer what so ever about anything. Is a given this game have no salvation, may God have mercy on its soul.

PS: I'm glad i move to dmm when i had the chance.

Its not like you need any special "chance" to move to DMM now. Daily Revival system is great for new players, there's huge contstant flow of silvers/plats/SCs for few months, you can assemble good team in no time if you spend SCs on refills and exp bonus.

member old yeller yea thats what i think is the most likely outcome of all this but i hope nutaku does something for the players who wasted time/money on the game that or get the game to be better sure its still getting events but it feels like a sinking ship more then a well supported game

i think everyone who did make the switch to dmm is glad as they can atleast they can play a version of the game thats supported well by its devs

You could said that, but you gotta admit that moving before the daily revival got implemented has its merits, i was able to get Eterna and all the collection/star trial units that came after.

Plus those that move before the purge from last year also got something else to help them start (the 60SC they recive after the banning of the user that altered there game data)

That's one of the things that has always bug me, even if they have needed/wanted to skip events the could have done so with out so many breaks, it feels like they keep pulling out people for this proyect because they don't see it profitable enough.

Ask JP devs you decided to support with your move then. After all, it is them who manage our version so poorly :p

I would switch over if DMM was in English, but its not so I'm not switching.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

If Nutaku's version was on par with DMM, it could actually draw DMM players away. That hurts the DMM Devs bottom line.

So, the solution is clearly to cripple our's and protect the bottom line. Clearly the money they have now is worth more than what they could make with another front in a language far more of the world is passably fluent in, right?

The whole thing is moronic in my opinion, but if it's a calculated move it makes sense. It's also why I hold so very little hope that the devs will actually work to improve our version over what we have now (low/no TP rotation, 1 event/2 weeks, etc.).

I very much doubt thats the case, you're suggesting a brand new company could go to the devs and get a better deal than an already established heavyweight company. When Aigis came out on Nutaku it was the most important thing Nutaku had done and were probably offering some very generous terms to entice the devs to allow it.

Imagine if DMM went to the devs and asked for more money per SC spent, do you think the devs would do it or could they say fuck off, we're killing the game. It wouldn't effect DMM in the slightest.
If Nutaku asked the same they'd be in shit as despite it all they don't want to lose aigis.

This is just another case of japanese devs thinking foreign players are beneath their japanese players. Many japanese companys have shot themselves in the foot like this, one of the biggest was Sega with their consoles.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Pretty much. It's very possible that's what that whole announcement was intended to be a redrawing of the original contract, which either fell through or was miscommunicated to us and as such we now have to deal with even less content than before, our 1 event every other week pace.

When Aigis came to Nutaku it was one of the most popular DMM games, and remains so to this day. It competes constantly on the 18+ and non 18+ side of things. A game like that wouldn't come over to a fledgling company like Nutaku without some very rigorous promises on the Nutaku side.

Now its quite possible that the developers have opted to not increase support for Aigis due to not seeing growth they wanted to see, which is very likely due to their own mistreatment of it. Nutaku whales have likely moved onto games that actually see constant support.

Alternatively had the developers increased support, or handed control over to Nutaku who would actually provide support, it could see a significant increase in revenue and player base. You can see examples of this across gaming, WoW, Pokemon Go are two prime examples I can think of off the top of my head.

It still completely baffles my mind that there is no communication between the developers and the publishers for Nutaku hosted games. In the world of business I come from I have constant meetings with my customer and third parties we deal with to discuss progress, bugs, next steps, improvements, etc.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

From now to the end of this year, they are going to see the least profitable quarter ever from MWA.

Assuming that the core cause of status quo is lower-than-expected profit, it's very possible that the jp devs just decide the whole thing is not worth it anymore after 2016.

If anyone wants to still believe and spend anything, I'd recommend holding out for at least 6 month before doing so. That's how long I think this game has left.
