I was disappointed when I killed him and it didn't give anything special lol. I know it says you can just let him go but it'd be nice to get something for killing him just to kill him.

Agreed, they've probably been the most fun part of the event. I found the idea of a proper RPG-esque party wandering around the maps you're exploring pretty appealing when I first started reading the dialogue for this event.

Introducing the Bunny Missionary Paula a Platinum rarity Bishop. A hybrid mage who becomes a healer with skill on, this oppai-lolita is not just an upgraded version to Noel's variation of this gimmick, as Paula's Skill, Heal Magic Plus, is substantially longer lasting and with proportionally longer wind-up. In exchange, said skill gives both power and range multiplier. Not unlike certain Fae archer and healer (and no, Paula's not an elf herself). Awakening gives her extra oomph, by giving her bonus damage to undead (and later, when it will become a class feature, passively increasing power by 10% with no downside). Skill Awakening, whenever it hit our shore, is a rare example of a direct upgrade, simply gives her skill better multipliers and longer duration without even changing the cooldown and initial timers.
Overall, Paula is a good Platinum Mage with extra range that can become a great Platinum healer with even more range for a whole minute. Definitely a good investment.

Likewise, reintroducing the Magic Swordswoman , the first Platinum unit of her class. Said class being melee spot ranged attacker (with decreased power in range compared to when attacking the blocked foe) with ability to switch from dealing physical damage to magical one on skill. This single most susceptible to mind control girl in all kingdoms is our "fast" Magic Fencer, as her skill comes up faster (and lasts the least) of all Magic Fencers. Awakening gives her chance to follow up every attack with another one immediately, without usual idle time. And Skill Awakening, whenever it hit our shores, will make her skill activate automatically with more power and less cooldowns between each activation. Good for AFK in general and Total Dominations in particular ;)

She will be both drop completion reward for mission 7 and farmable drop in mission 9. This particular trend of having farm event girls as extra rewards for Star Trials will continue in the future, so if you find yourself wanting some copies, go wild! :D

Comments about the event
This Star Trial is generally hailed as a first genuinely difficult event of post-Awakening era. Variety of maps with different buffs to enemy units, powerful foes like dreaded Mummy Mage and the Demon King(s Shade) himself with his high health, damage and berserk form, all will need a good variety of highly-developed units. Prepare both powerful physical and magical damagers, a couple of tanks (you might even need to run two Heavies here!) and lightning rods, and of course a number of healers. Demon King(s Shade) will require special attention because like Vampire Lord back in Eden's event it will go bonkers when its health dips below half, buttraping your units with fast and furious ranged attacks. Ultimately, you might even want to break out your Eden and (Immortal) Karma to deal with him.

On a silver farming front, here's a run-down of possible drops:

New Classes Being Introduced
Bowrider / Bowrider Chief / Bowrider Elite
A melee spot ranged single-target attacker class with wide range (260) and speed of an Archer, that shares cavalry's refund more upon retreat trait, and deals half damage when blocking someone. They can have a good number of passive buffs working for tham thanks to the existence of Cavalry-wide buffs on top of their class-specific ones. Oh, and eventually they will become zero-block while using their skills after Awakening. All in all, a good addition. One can never have too many melee ranger options :p

Whew...completely done. That timing window really is something, but my paralyzing vampire girl pulled through like I knew she would. Took me quite a bit to get it down on the Alt account, which allowed me to beat it first (technically second) try on the Main account.

Don't suppose you'd give me a link? There's a few guides for this, and it'd save me the trouble of sifting through them for a good one that requires little involvement.



That's the 1 I used. I replaced the top valk with a soldier because I only have 1 leveled up.

EDIT: Trying this strategy:
I placed my bandit to tank a hit from the Demon King and then swapped out to Eden. Eden never paralyzed him and died to the second attack. Was I too slow in putting her down or is there some trick to it? If I was just too slow I doubt I will be able to 3* this map :(

so im in my 2nd day of playing and im wondering if i should be using my sc for anything specific in this event

If it's your second day, you should focus more on progressing through the story missions so you can get more gold, more unit xp, more prince xp, more levels, a stronger army, etc etc. Come back to the event the last couple of days it is up and you will be able to get more stars on it after training your army via story missions. There are guides on the first post as to which story missions to farm when you hit a roadblock. Don't worry about using SCs yet. You will want to use those when you have higher stam/cha pools at higher levels. You may want to consider getting the 1.5x gold boost in the shop now though. I'd highly recommend it for early on. And maybe the 1.2 exp boost when you are around level 50-75. Can't remember the exact math on the exp boost.

always had the gold boost. i bought the exp boost anyway. it's 20 days.

i hit a roadblock at mysterious beast cuz i can't get enough ranged units out to stop the red flying fuckers

Tried again and got Eden to do the paralyze, but the scorpions hadn't died by this point and my DPS was focused on them instead.

I tried replacing Anya with Shizuka because my Anya isn't AW'd and that didn't work out either.

I guess I'm done for this event. Even if I get Anya up by the end of the event, I'm not sure who I would use to kill the oni at the beginning but be weak enough to not kill the Demon King too quickly.

Ugh, two last maps are quite frustrating. Totally have no idea how to deal with them. Well it was quite some time that I last checked video for any map. At last need to check it.

I may need to focus on raising some units over the next two weeks that I have had on the back burner, 1 starred the last map, don't think raw execution will get me a 3 star unless I look over another video.

Selius: the missions in Aigis have, for the most part, a reasonable difficulty curve but sometimes it gets a bit screwy and tough missions'll be followed by easy ones(War of Magic really stands out in this case).
Maybe it's intentional, and the developers wanted to make the easier missions feel like a respite after a tough trial?

Incidentally, I just beat Danger in the Oasis for the first time! Woo-hoo! I also 3-starred it the first time I beat it, after trying the mission for months.

Anyone can tell me how important is Eden in the 100/2 map? Is there a way to replace her, of course there is no other unit that can paralyze enemy, but still is there unit that can be of use instead of her?

Do you have Inmortal Karma? She can also help you kill that bastard, either way you have 2 weeks to figured out how to deal with him try different strats is not the end of the world if you can kill it right away.

see there are several ways to 2* it, you just need to figured out how to get the last star with your acc.

I don't know what you have so i can't recommend you anything, i was sure you where here for Eden's event though

By good guides I mean setups that don't require a whole bunch of high level AW units.
I'm looking at you KeyKii...
I got Eden and Karma, but... my healers couldn't keep up once the blue ogre boys duo showed up

Actually, wait.
I think I can modify his setup properly with some of my own units.
So excuse my whining, I'm going to attempt this tomorrow again.
