Am I reading the unit combination chart on the wiki wrong, or should units with a max skill Level of 5 have a 50% chance to go from 3 to 4 with a rainbow fairy?
I could've sworn that I dropped about 4 Rainbows into a unit like that and got fuck-all, and the waste of it bothered me.

Well I lost few months due to error and there were other units I needed to lvlup, last one being Aisha which I AWed lately.
Anyway I was thinking if maybe Lyla would be able to withstand 2 or 3 hits and in the meantime maybe combo on skills Aisha+Nanaly would be able to get him down.

I'm not sure what the silver situation is for new players nowadays. When Aigis first came out, I was constantly starving for new silver units, and had plenty of extra gold, so I spammed 2k gacha fishing for silvers until I had reached a certain level of gold (~200k i think). Now it is incredibly easy to get loads of silvers from event maps, and awakenings and such are pretty expensive. But gold is really not used for all that much. So feel free to spam the 2k - just make sure to leave yourself a good backup pile of gold.

The reason why i mention Conrad is cause he is gold so raising him and AW shouldn't be so hard, also he adds a nice buff to your (for what i can tell) prime duelist, this will later be increase but that aside is job as dueler for men only maps is also praise worthy. You shoud have a copy* from the first GR.
The thing about Mahou is his huge hp pool, even with true damage it takes a while to chip that away :/ Since we don't have that many units that can do that is a real problem to deal with it. I'll try tomorrow and see what works, it would most likely take me 4 or 5 tries since i already have some exp from dmm, but still...

well i saved up 100k cuz i was gonna buy that priest warrior in the trading post but it took me most of the day to save it up so im having second thoughts lol

Thanks for mentioning that. I PMed my feedback to Nordland. Posting them here as well, I'm sure they overlap with a lot of others feedback, but more feedback never hurts.
1. pace of events has been great, its fantastic to see something new every week - this is super positive, please let the developers know this pace is appreciated and I sincerely hope it stays at this rate or higher
2. introduction of long over due units has been excellent, I'm pleased to see all the skipped over units being implemented
3. TP rotation, I hope the developers continue their efforts to rotate the TP more often
here are the items i would like to see improvements on
1. Liana needs to be removed from the gacha pool, she has no business being in there as she is supposed to have her own dedicated event, she should be removed as soon as possible and her normal event implemented, additionally there needs to be some kind of benefit for those who rolled her from the gacha she shouldn't have been in, in the first place
2. there are still numerous skipped events, I would like to see those revisisted so we have the chance to experience them regardless of how old they are (yurina comes to mind here)
3. When will we get the anniversary event Japan got, Anna's event? This was a 1 year anniversary in Japan and we have yet to get it? This is long overdue content
4. Will first time drops be coming soon? From Japan's history it should be starting in a couple events, this is sorely needed content and something I would hate to miss out on

yeah i have 4 spare silver healers. just dont know if 100k on one (very useful) unit versus about 50 levels spread across other units is a comparable trade

That is more or less the bottom line, pay now or get free later. Also, while 4 silver healers may seem a lot, merely awakening one healer unit will cost you all 4 of those silvers. So plan accordingly.

i wasted a ton of charisma trying to complete armor of the dead.

even after watching a bunch of videos i still dont get how they're doing it. my tanks just get overrun and die so fast. even with 2 healers and a level 50 leanne with +31 def affection bonus she still dies so fast
i cant get any mages out before the horde comes

Probably better to power up your army through levels / class change / affection by farming fodder maps for unit xp, and fairies/affection items through dailies/challenge quests.
Tips:
Do NOT miss the monday and thursday dailies. Those are by far the most valuable, especially when starting out. Tues/Friday dailies are mostly skippable for new players until you start needing rainbow fairies. Wednesday dailies are mostly a waste at any level.

Aigis story maps are very uneven. The difficulty can suddenly ramp up significantly from one to the next. Most times, there is no choice but to just keep leveling the core units and add affections until they can overcome said map. Occasionally, you can try to circumvent that by using rogues for dodges or assassinations when rushed with an early powerful unit.
In Armor of the Dead, the rush is early and with mostly goblins and two hard hitting armor enemies. A weak heavy armor will get completely destroyed if you attempt to block them both together, as each will deliver almost 500-600 damage per hit to a 0 defense unit. So unless the HA is at least 300 defense or higher there is just no chance to tank that. The best initial deployment for this map is probably a Misha/Elaine/Kerri at the crossroad to farm some UP, Katie 2 spots below, then a rogue (like Cypria) at the spot below valkyrie. Have a healer out after that when possible to cover all 3. Black armor will be on the valkyrie unit first, and depend on when the healer is out, can only take 1 or 2 black armor hits. Withdraw valkyrie before she dies, and let the rogue tank the black armor and activate assassinate skill. Pray for RNG so that the black armor dies before the rogue does. Deploy prince, 2nd healer or mage in the meantime when able. The rest is significantly easier after the initial onslaught is dealt with and the healers, mages and tanks are deployed.

Yeah, I remember time when almost everyone got at least one copy of him... and I still didn't get him. Much later I got few copies of him on alts and one on main from GR. Keeping those few I got only for AW or SU. Dont remember what AW ability he got.
My duelists... it's quite different depending on acc on main I got immortal Karma and Olivie, well let's say Clissa is one too (not like I remember when I used her) on alt I got Claudia, Dahlia and Themis/Cellia/Imelia on other alt Lyla, Anya and Sakuya (maybe I should have AW Rowanna at last...).
Diversity is a nice thing Well not sure if I'll be able to do something about event maps tonight. Almost whole day out and probably won't have much free time till late in the night when I will just keep yawing, so probably gonna check various things tomorrow.
