The Dark Guild's Servant event guide

Good timeofaday, brave Princes! It is that time of the week, and so we are looking forward to the new event. And after the weeks of Unit Farming, it is a high time for a Star Trial, and once more for a new class.
So let's warmly welcome The Dark Guild's Servant!

Event runs: 2017-10-03 to 2017-10-17

The star of the event:

Introducing the Servant Irene a Platinum rarity Maid. Her Special class is basically there to provide a passive buff for specific classes and tokenize them. In Irene' case, said classes are Outlaws: Bandits and Rogues. By her mere presence in the team, Bandits will have 7% more health, and Rogues will have +20% longer Skill duration. Irene's own Skill doubles her attack and defense for the duration, making her a semi-decent duelist, but as her raw stats are on the lower side, it is pretty risky to use her as one full-time. Still, for full Maid service - tokenization of goshujin-samas affected classes - you need to deploy her, that's at least something. Awakening widens Irene's coverage to Pirates (they get +5% attack) and Thieves (cost -1). Skill Awakening gives her ranged attack in exchange of lowering multipliers to x1.9 and increasing reuse timer. Second Awakening sends he on the path of Battle Maid, for lower cost and vastly higher attack, but lower HP and defence.
All in all, a good stat stick if you have a free slot in your team, and later on a semi-decent support fire. But nothing all that amazing on her own. She is only as valuable as your roster of Bandits and Pirates she buffs.

Even if not an event reward, she's new, so:

Introducing the Bowrider Katina a Platinum rarity, well, Bowrider. As all other mounted archers, she is a melee slot fire support that refunds more UP when withdrawn per usual cavalry bonus, and has halved attack if she blocks anything. Her skill is usual Increase Range we all know and love. Awakening gives her a good class buff for Bowriders, not only increasing their attack, but extending their Skill durations as well. Skill Awakening, aptly named Arrow Rain, trades a bit of a range increase and attack speed (and longer reuse timer) for attacking up to 7 targets in her range at the same time. Oh and SAW makes her lose block, so there's that gatekeeping ability as well.
All in all, pretty decent melee ranger with that SAW.

Comments about the event
Star Break, in it's full glory! There's a lot of Outlaw classes running around, and, notably, new Assassins are quite deadly, dealing double the damage (after armor subtraction) normal enemies with their attack rating would. So you want to pack a lot of burst to burn them down asap. Pirates have a huge range, so be careful with your placement around them. Minotaur is beefy and packs a punch as well. And finally there's a duo of our event Heavies stomping around in the last 70/6, with their Skills active, so their blows can end unprepared melee. Especially Miranda, that jet hammer is golem-worthy. Thankfully, not a lot of MR all around. So pack your favorite damage dealers, a good tank and healer team, and let em rip!)

On a silver farming front, here's a run-down of possible drops:
  • Soldier ( ) (map 2);
  • Rogue ( ) (map 3);
  • Archer ( ) (map 3);
  • Samurai ( ) (map 4);
  • Witch ( ) (map 4);
  • Mage ( ) (map 5);
  • Magic Swordsman ( ) (map 5);
  • Bandit ( ) (map 6);
  • Ninja ( ) (map 7);
  • Artillerist ( ) (map 7);
  • Valkyrie ( ) (map 8);
  • Bishop ( ) (map 8);
  • Pirate ( ) (map 8);
  • Heavy Infantry ( ) (map 9).

There's also a tincan at map 4, and not one, not two, but three farmable Platinum rarity units: Archer Rita at map 5 and H.I. Maribel AND H.I Miranda at map 9! So if you missed their events, now is your chance to score!

Edit: Heres 10 runs of X just to prove my fucking point. 10 blacks 5 rainbows during 10 runs, pretty fucking standard for me. G i got nothing with like 3-4 runs except a black or two and no rainbow AT ALL.

Well, consider yourself extremely lucky on X then. It is better because at least you get the guaranteed two platinum fairies. But black and rainbow are lower per stamina than G.

Wot, its not even luck, i always get this all the time. Like, this isn't even above average at all for what i get, usually i grab 2-5 Rainbows every daily session and a handful of blacks.

Its like, just X is better then G. There's no way i am lucky enough to get that many rainbows every daily with a 4%x2 (8%x2 w/ non-aw spirit bandito) and get nothing AT ALL from G.
the wiki is a fucking lie.

Also can't wait for that 150RC bitch that 100% skill ups you, fookin u wot ima 5/5 w/ that every 3rd time after fail to 5/5 twice. Would save me much rainbow fairy
It always seems to be specific units a few people bitch about uru sure enough i start bitchin too fook i swear the % is a lie some units just hate waking the fuck up

Well, I'm doing X for years. I have not gotten more than two rainbows a day ever. I get none at all regularly though.

Also Musica is not really worth it. Better get platinum+ tickets. Unless you whale of course

ya true the plat ticket has a good chance of a black. hrm. Fuck.
I find it hard to believe i am just lucky but only on X. Do you do G?

I do on DMM, since there is not the bug that the two plat fairies on X are guaranteed.
There G is better due to better drop rate for all fairies and guaranteed Fairy Queen

it's a bug? oh shit. better horde my plats then, damn. keke
welp i kind of regret using all my plat spirits stupidly now BUT i know im going to get them back twice as many anyway so hey.

Also 100% queen? Hnnng. yes
Hopefully my luck long since expires then or moves onto G, i really do get more from X. Is it a curse, or a blessing? I don't know - all i know is apparently my illusion was shattered today of X being ez mode spirits for everyone.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I consider myself lucky if I get anything other than plat on x and I am running awakened Celia.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

If having way too many plat spirits is an actual problem, then might as well use use them 2 at a time with 2 farm event plat dupes. That would save the trouble of spending money leveling up with iron/bronze fodders, as each 2/2 combo will give anywhere between 4800 to 5864 exp, depending on the level of the farm event plat unit dupe.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

...he would put such horrendously poisonous shit by his shlong?
Well, it's not like he ever gets the chance to use it.

Christ, I can't believe how many attempts it took me to 3-star Two Crusaders! I beat the mission on the 2nd attempt, but every bloody time I tried it later, I came super-close to a perfect win and something different went wrong each time.

Also, I was really disappointed by how bland the Guildmaster villain looked. Though I haven't beaten all of the missions yet, so maybe he shows up again with a better, new look?(though I think he died last time I saw him).

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I think they purposely made the leader bland/generic, because the "organization" is gonna be around for a long time to come. Every time one dies, another generic asshole takes over and on and on we go.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I mean, the guy shows up once, monologues, then dies in the same mission. He's not worth the effort of creating special assets for.

Decius, on the other hand... the man deserves his own spinoff series.

Nono, it was worth it. I found it extremely enjoyable. I had an chuckle out of it. Had he not get an face art, i would've forgotten about his existence already. Irene's event by far was the most enjoyable one due to all the surprise chatter and banter from my guys and enemies. It made me put in an effort to beat at lest one G mission by now instead of skipping them like usual.

edit: does swordmaster's 80% chance of assassination work on mithril golems too or not?

Two Crusaders is one of those maps where I was really glad that I SAW'd Anya. She killed like half the enemies singlehandedly, the rest were mowed the down by mages.

Mythril Golems can be assassinated, however - just like most "boss" units - the chance is significantly lowered. So significantly, that you'll sooner pull a premium black as a F2P player than to pull it off. Only some one of a kind superbosses are completely resistant to assassination.

If you don't mind my asking, what sort of level are your active units at, that you skip G-class missions? I don't have a particularly strong team, but I always give them a shot.

I mean, my team is what it is. Might not be the strongest but you never gonna know if you don't try. Back in gold rush ppl were getting cucked by the bloody pegasis map and i rekt it bc i had a specific unit (READ: NANALY) that made this piss easy even though i was 1-2 weeks in or some shit, i forget.

Same for this black bishop, kept 2 starring it or 1 starring it, though i got maximum items for her IC that map consistently and eventually got it down-pat and 3starred it.

Ok thanks overcoat.

G missions is more trouble than worth always. Maybe if they had 100% guarantee drops everytime, I will go to the hassle of trying to clear them. On top of costing alot of charisma/stamina that I could use to level my units with. Its a real shitfest when you clear an tough map and nothing drops.

Well, my active team changes as it depends on what kind of event they are fighting in and which map. I'll give a rough estimate, it ranges from CC50 to AW99.
I was doing two crusader so here what my team for three star clear on two crusaders look like..

You just basically told LeadSmasher why I don't bother with G maps. You used Nanaly that just waves away hard stuff and make G maps effortless for you. :p

Since I don't have Nanaly I don't bother.

And plus that's not all, lately alot of G maps in events has been all about wide clear open spaces where only melee spots is covered in most of the maps with very limited amount of ranged unit spots. It fucks me over. I had to level up ninjas/magic fencers/ warrior priests in a hurry. -.- So I decided to not sweat it and level what I want instead of what the map wants me to. If its not compatitable, oh well, at most I miss out on 1 SC. Don't care.

You guys should know, I do damn what I want to do at my own pace not when the game wants me to. I didn't follow the optimal rush hurry up in time to get ready for content I just played casually and did them whenever I can.

If I can get the event unit, I consider it to be a success, and if i can make it stronger by getting more stars, that's an bonus for me. Cuz I have noticed that in Aigis it isn't a matter of life or death that a event unit doesn't get min costed/and max skilled.
