Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)
I don't see the point of them playing dumb. They know their censorship reputation is already bad, so trying to hide it is obviously just going to make them look worse. Of course, they've done stupider things before.
Loli issue aside, most of their games are fairly vanilla as is, and even then, a lot of the more rape-y scenes get their context censored as well. See: FKG's Lechenaultia, a clearly adult girl (with a childish personality), whose scene is literally about forcefully publicly humiliating the girl (via open-window sex) because she keeps comparing you to her first love, so you use hentai logic to make her forget about all that with the dick. The lines where she clearly voices her dissent are changed to a more positive spin, if not mean the complete opposite of what she's saying. It's not the first time they've done this, and I doubt it'll be the last.
Maybe this is all just another internal "it's complicated

" thing, maybe not. I doubt any of us really care at this point and just want them to cut the bullshit.
Now, given the kind of game Aigis is, or rather, how fairly lacking in hentai it is compared to the others, I doubt this issue will affect it much. Aisha alone was probably the most iffy case, and we got through that fine. But for their other games and their future rep, they really ought to be sensible with how they proceed.
tl;dr: The censorship is basically a given at this point. It's been there since day one, even if it isn't as easily noticeable, as with the aforementioned dialogue changes. But at this level, Aigis and FKG don't really suffer for it... for now (example: Belinda and Cloris being stepmother/daughter in a trivial non-issue). Realistically, the point is, what we should be putting our foot down on is cut content and shitty censorship picture edits, as in the case with Osawari and presumably GK. Feel free to nitpick on whatever else once that part is down. Me, personally, I want FKG devs to fix the past few h-scenes randomly being in third-person instead of first-person.
In the meantime...
