It's the one only accessible by airship, selling Gold gear, right? If so, then you use the "Secret Key" obtained from the dilapidated mansion in the Forest of Night, past the 4mil HP invisible barrier S of 1st village. It's the Lv4 crest shop. The only hints are that the NPC right next to that girl speaks about a "secret member-only shop where a key is used as a membership proof", the front merchant selling obvious junk, and the Secret Key's description simply being "It's secret".

Also, if you give one Titan Crest Core obtained from the Lead Golem to the crest merchant, she reveals that there's actually one other secret crest shop apparently situated on a "fake throne", something about being "one space above a throne", but I've not actually gotten any further than that yet so I have no idea what they're talking about.

After getting the airship, visited the small town in SW island, cant beat the demon in cave, cant beat the lava golem(?) in volcano, beat the iron demon (?) and searched a bit inside demonlord castle.
Anyone know where to find the smelting tech book for the dark steel?

ps. how much damage do you need to deal to get through the lava golems armor? i dop 15 million damage to monsters in demon lord castle, but still 0 to the golem.

Seems like we have both good or evil choices for each subjugation quest.

1st town bandit: escape from side path alone, then lose to bandit boss... can even capture quest giver and turn her over to bandit. You can visit her at the bandit cave afterwards
2nd town (north of forest exit): how do I rescue the girl from the manor?
3rd town (east of 2nd town): can also submit to the pirates, but turning over the quest giver leads to game over bad end... and resets it.

1st town bandit, I don't think you can actually beat them properly. Whenever you beat the bandit boss and his goons they say they'll change they're ways and when you report to the quest giver that the job's done, she says that the bandits are still doing bandit shit. Go back to them, they feign ignorance, fight again, rinse and repeat. Seems like there's no actual subjugation for them and getting raped by them is pretty much the true ending for that quest.
2nd town quest, the girl actually stays there forever, she says that she's been raised there and the quest giver who sent you to rescue her disappears and is replaced by a dude who sells stuff. Nothing to do there after that besides beat the super boss in the manor.
For the third town, its a common trend in this game that when selecting a bad end the game sends you back to the point before you fucked up. Some special cases are there though such as borrowing money from the dude in the first town repeatedly can't be done again after the bad end.

You need the pickaxe from the village where the demon manipulates the people.

Nope, the purpose of the bandit quest is to let you take the detour and get captured. The girl who distract the guard for you is the one that you need to save/recruit (another long quest chain involving the orcs). You probably need to be real geared, or just wait for NG+.

Thanks, I kinda guessed there was something more to the quest, especially after trying to understand some of the comment section on the dev's site about this quest. Do you know how to actually complete the quest?

How to recruit the 7 companions: (corrections made to knight and cat-girl nun)

1) Knight

• You will meet her in the forest west of the starting village. Make sure you help her kill the boss before you enter the 2nd village.
• Afterwards, talk to her in the barracks in 2nd village. (If she is not there, you screwed up)
• After talking to her, head north to the mine and die. Pick up the sword from the dead guy near the stairs (choose the last option gives you a title for being a good person, but lock you out of getting the knight...)
• Go back and give her the sword, turns out the sword belongs to her lover. You don't have to give her the sword right away, but do so before you fight the last boss in the manor so she shows up to help.
• After beating the last boss in manor, go back and talk to her in the barrack, this will give you a green title.
• Sleep overnight and talk to her again to convince her to go to the underground (if this does not work, go visit underground to advance dialogue). Will need to have blond loli recruited, and potentially apricot too.
• When you visit her in the underground, she gives you a bunny costume for the trouble.

2) Loli Trio... Blonde

Go to the 4th City.
Then check out the lake outside, south of the city. Explore the SE to loot the chest and watch the event with the blonde sister...
She will then invite you to the red light district under the city. Go wild with her and watch all her events.

3) Loli Trio... Apricot (杏子)

Make sure you run into her by the lake near the 2nd city. She will then show up next to blonde in the red light district. Do all her H events once.

4) Loli Trio... Black

In the 4th city, visit the green roof house north of the weapon shop. You will then need to visit the tentacle forest south of 4th city to rescue the owner of the Rune shop.
After the rescue, return to the 4th city to check on Rune Shop owner, then check out the bathhouse (large wooden structure in north side of city). Talk to her and convince her to go to the red light district... and you know the rest. Also, trying to exit the bath while naked earn you another title.

5) Cat Girl Nun

Warning you need to be sufficiently strong (lv100+)
Make a clean save before you attempt this one. The orc village becomes available after you are lv100+ and had visited snow town. You also need to have recruited blond loli above. If you have recruited black loli (#4), even better since you will have clear the way for the eastern tentacle forest.

1. When tackling the bandit quest NE of first city, take the detour to the right. This will get you captured. Choose look for a way to escape. The Dark Elf will assist you by using her body to distract the guard.
2. If you are strong enough, you can choose the option to kill bandit and escape together. (Failing will lock you out of recruiting her until next game, so try again later when your attack is higher)
3. Once you have the orc village unlock, go get yourself capture by the orcs. After the H Scene, use the book to save.
4. Talk to the blue hair cat girl, but do NOT use the bed that appears afterward.
5. Instead,head outside and talk to your dark elf friend twice (she is to outside the fence to the right), select 4th then 2nd option. She will have the orc escort you to tentacle forest for more H.
6. Escape the tentacle forest. Head back to town and talk to blonde loli, who will give you a letter.
7. Go get yourself capture by the orcs again... ignore the bed and go talk to the nun. First option shows her the letter and take you right out of the orc village.
8. Return to underground, and she will give you the bride costume.

6) Sister

Your bratty sister turns out to be the demon lord's attendant.
Talking to her in your home (right building) allow you to enter the destroyed city next to the demon lord castle.
She is the last boss in the town... When fighting her, don't attack her... she will then ask you to surrender, just keep refusing until she gives up.

7) Mask Girl

To get her, you must be strong enough to beat the boss in the deserted village west of demon lord's castle.
This will let you get the pick axe required to enter the volcano.
Talk to people in Snow Town to hear about the previous hero's inheritance.
You will then run into snow girl here. Use your pick axe on the 5 black orbs blocking your way (must not have it equip to use it on the orbs). You will then need to beat the last boss on your first try and see the sword event after the boss.

I've not gotten to where you are quite yet, so I wouldn't know about the Darksteel techbook, but here's a tip: all Golem type enemies tend to have such absurd PDEF and MDEF stats that pretty much any regular attack will do 0 damage. You need to rely on additional attack instead. Drop your halberds, axes, greatswords and clubs and trade them in for shortspears and daggers, cast Enchant Fire, Enchant Thunder, Enchant Lightning and use the Wind buff too, then spam your best Wind/Dark magics because they tend to have fixed damage multipliers.

Ok, I need help finding the 2 bosses:

As a player who still hasn't been there yet I don't know either, but Omega is the name of the NPC robot you can talk to in the Floating City. Not sure how to get him to fight you. Also, have you tried spelunking in the Tower of Trials? There's a very well hidden staircase in the back that leads to a basement, where the path is blocked because there's a rampaging ancient golem inside, but again I'm not sure how to get the guard to let you pass.

I've not gotten to where you are quite yet, so I wouldn't know about the Darksteel techbook, but here's a tip: all Golem type enemies tend to have such absurd PDEF and MDEF stats that pretty much any regular attack will do 0 damage. You need to rely on additional attack instead. Thanks, 40k-ish fixed damge and a 5x fixed damage skill + all the buffs i had was enough.
250k-ish attack and 9x thunder skill dealt 0, while doing about 15m to zombies in maou castle

edit spoke too soon, i was acle to damage it but as it gets damaged, it strikes back. welp, time to go back to grinding better gear.

It's in the Demon Lord's Castle, right where you fought the Deathscythe L boss. Fumika correctly guesses it's a 'dummy demon lord' - a fake throne for a fake actor.
