As one the group of Ingrali move onward, passing through the doors and eventually reaching the panel. "Alright, same thing as before with the original one?"

"Confirmed, Siphon. I'm coming back." Ixack broadcasts, his ship pulling up and away from the planet towards the Kara "Would it be alright for me to bring my ship aboard yours? I need to make sure nothing was damaged in that fight." he broadcasts, his engines slowing as he approaches the Kara

Ixack nods to himself and maneuvers his ship into the aforementioned hanger, his ships slowing to a stop and slowly lowering, a strut coming out of the front and two from below the engines "I am on board. I will be conducting any maintenance that is required." he broadcasts to Siphon, standing and walking away from the controls of his ship, a door seemingly appearing that allows him to exit the ship, his form once again meeting the artificial lighting that seems to accompany most hanger bays "You wouldn't happen to have some kind of sunlight source on board, would you? I'm starving" he broadcasts to Siphon, looking over the exterior of his ship and shaking his head "The damage appears to only be cosmetic. No serious damage incurred. This is good." he thinks, continuing to look over his ship

Siphon replies to Ixack. Sunlight? As in the light itself? We've got artificial lighting but no sunlight. Could swing by the system's sun later though.

"Artificial light provides no sustenance for me. A stop by the system's sun would be wonderful." Ixack broadcasts, finishing his checks on his ship and sending a Psi pulse, getting his bearings and leaving the hanger bay "I am heading for the bridge. Your vessel is not built like the Battlecruisers that I have boarded before. Would you be so kind as to direct me?"

From the hangar go forward til you come to a pair of blue doors. Slide your hand over the panel and step in, you'll be on the bridge then.

Ixack nods to himself once again, then walks straight ahead until coming to the doors. He then swipes his hand over a panel and opens the doors, walking in and stopping next to Daina, his seemingly lanky arms crossed in front of him as he looks around "So. You are the one they call Daina, am I correct?" he thinks to Daina, his blue eyes blinking twice as he looks upon her form "You do not appear to be Terran or Alveran. I would be most grateful if you would explain a bit about yourself."

After apparently doing a series of scans of the area, the Shadow Wind turned and slowly began traveling in the direction of the planet. It would be pretty obvious to anyone watching that the slowness was due more to caution than engine trouble.

"Wait, wasn't there - HOLY CRAP SALLY! ABOVE, ABOVE!" Something big drops from the ceiling of the storage room. As it hits the ground it emits a shockwave, slightly tattering the Ingrali.
They face an enormous creature of steel and glowing crystal. Four arms are mounted on the barrel-like chest: One of them ends in a pair of chains with hooks at the end, another with an enormous grappler. The two lower arms are equipped with a hammer quite like the drone before and a heavy duty blow torch. In the chest is a slot of some kind, big enough for a human to slide in. No head sits on top of the machine as it releases a deep whirr - and starts up the blow torch, stomping towards the Ingrali. An entire loom of cables is attached to the back of "Sally".
"Damn girl, you weren't meant to end like this."

As before, the Ingrali all reformed their bodies, but this time they faced a stronger opponent. "Melee will be useless on that, does this ship have any weapons dampeners?"

"Well, if I'd have control I'd have a buffer field up in no time, but like this. . . Just try to aim for the cables on the back, okay. Sally is. . . just aim for the cables." The drone has readied the hammer again, and the blow torch has reached maximum temperature, a hot white blade of fire ready to incinerate the Ingrali.

As one the Ingrali all shift their arms to blades, then launch themselves for the cables, each coming from a different angle of attack to maximize the chances one would get through.

Talok had noticed the smaller vessel poking about and hailed the ship. "This is Talok/Nevish of the Alveran vessel Daina Eil'Mori, hailing the smaller vessel just incoming. Welcome to the Velokian planet, may any of us be of assistance to you?"

"Got asked to find out what those ships I'd noticed some time ago had been up to. I'd calculated the direction they came from, and saw this planet," Toryn responded. "If you've got any connection with an Asgard ship Beliskner, then you may have already heard about my presence."

Talok nodded. "Ah yes, so you've met Thor then. Yes, we know him quite well. I can already tell you the ships you detected then were members of races called the Draque and Enoly. Save for a small few of them, they all serve masters called the Sentinels, and those ships you saw were trying to either conquer or level the society living on this planet. Hopefully that helps you out some. My communications logs are telling me that there were some who were pretty badly wounded on the surface, would you be able to help rendering aid?"

Sally bursts into motion - the chains swing around, the grappler stabs and the hammer pounds while the blow torch goes back and forth. Several of the Ingrali are getting their molecules reshaped pretty good before they can reform.
"Alright, this isn't working. Try to get around her and reroute the energy, I should be able to control her then. The crystal has to point upwards."

"I can offer supplies. Most of this ship is automated, and I'm not exactly in the best shape to be helping medical personnel, I'm afraid," Toryn replied, mentally griping about the fact that his lungs still weren't fully healed.

Daina was quite happy maintaining two conversations, but instead, she simply shares the memories of her conversation with Thor, and the video feed from his ship, across their bond. At the same time, she turns from her station to face the opening bridge door. One hand drops to her pistol, then the commando relaxes.

She watches the alien cautiously for a moment, then leans back against a bulkhead, arms crossed.

"Like I said, I'm a special forces officer attached to the international governing council of several races - I officially hold the rank of Captain."

A faint smirk crosses her face.

"As well as a few others. My people call themselves the Asari. We are a peaceful folk, and long-lived. Most of us. We tend to be the diplomats of the galaxy, sorting out problems, and mediating for disputes. On the other side of the coin, Asari are highly sought after as dancers, as well as in a more.. military capacity. We also have a limited ability to interact with some of the basic forces that govern the behaviour of mass in our universe.."

Her tone becomes a little drier, towards the end, and her gaze dares Ixack to reply.

The Ingrali again move at different angles, attempting to alter the crystal as instructed, though if that failed and an opening came up to slice the cable, they would take that as well.



"Very well, any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Are you able to land on the surface or do you have beaming technology?"



Siphon growled along the link with Daina. Damnit, that gate probably leads right into the heart of their territory. We can't let that thing stay active Daina, we need to take it out, NOW. I'm on my way to the bridge.

"Vanessa, I have to head to the bridge. Looks like those ships that got away have a space stargate."

She blinked then spoke, "are you shitting me? Just great. Ok, I'll join you for this, I suppose I've got to learn some way."



The link suddenly came back on in front of Daina. "Daina this is Thor. The Draque and Enoly spacegate just became active, and there are ships coming through. I have moved off a distance, however I believe you should see this."



On the screen she could see the now active gate, and as she watched, over a hundred ships came out of it, each one substantially larger than anything they had seen before. What was disturbing was, after those ships came almost fifty more of a clearly different race. They each had a strange black symbol on the side of the ships, and they were clearly built for war.

"I believe we may have trouble Daina. My sensors indicate each one of those ships is fully operational."

"Negative on both counts, but I've got a few freighters on-board that can transfer the supplies."
