I say this.
If they want to be robbers, be robbers.
And like in this case.
It might not end well.
But killing someone after they are down is bad, if I shot someone and killed them thru self defense, I wouldn't feel bad, cause if they want to be violent, it's their lost.
I am fine with the guy killing the robber tho cause, hey they started it.
And well... according to the report the robbers said something they shouldn't have, and guess what? Irony hits them hard.

I must disagree. Yes, killing someone in self-defence should be allowed(at least if they are about to kill you otherwise). But people shouldn't be allowed to kill someone who is helpless. That's murder no matter what they had done/were going to do before becoming helpless. They should be brought before justice, not killed outright.

The guy wasn't even likely to kill anyone, or at least he wasn't trying to, so killing him in purpose would've been very questionable anyway.

The article is unclear if the guy was dead after he has been shot in the head. . .

Well considering a head shot could be non fetal, it could be argued both ways.

The pharmacist is completely in the clear there. A shot in a head would either leave the person in an even more screwed scenario with possible brain damage and or a nasty concussion leading to even more problems for said dead suspect. This can be look upon as mercy killing and first degree murder. To the charge of first degree murder, F*** it. There should be a law on mercy killing that's the exact same as first degree murder but just worded differently.

There have been people shot in the head that have come out with their brain fine. A fellow Canuck soldier got a bullet in the side of his head, and though he lost his right eye and most of the bone around the socket he dosn't have any brain damage and still leads a fairly good life. Should someone have shot him before diagnosing what was wrong with him as a "Mercy Killing"?

We cannot really make any discussion upon the head shot, because it is entirely unclear whether or not it killed him, or caused severe, or any brain damage at all. So to call unloading a magazine into him a "mercy killing" is ignorant and naive.

Like I said earlier, the Pharmacist had every right to defend himself against someone pointing a fucking gun at him. Good aim or good luck earned him a head shot, which put the young bastard down and out of the game.

Now though the police can't question him because he's dead. Which also means the second law breaking fuck can get away scott free. So, like I said, first shot was self defense, the next four were murder.

Well, even if the shot hit him in the head, it didn't necessarily hit the brains. Besides, since euthanasia is illegal, that should be too. Not that I'm saying that euthanasia should be illegal: that doesn't really make sense to me.

you guys are missing the point of this poorly worded post.

that is if you think your doing a mercy killing, you are essentially committing first degree murder.
