Out of idle curiosity, why is it that 4chan is seen as being that bad? I've roamed the place a few times, and aside from /b/, /gif/, and /r/ (request), it's really rather civil. It's not all that different from any other forum - they have their own quirks and self referential jokes, same as we do.

Didn't get that pic from 4chan btw, it's from a Newground's Flash called "Supa Nintend0h", from the "Pokemon Snap XXX" sections XD

INB4 "Stop taking us so seriously Pooky", I'm not XD I'm genuinely curious.

Civil? /g/ is full of mac vs pc threads, every help request thread has at least one answer, usually first one "install gentoo" and half of the rest are people asking for help with their builds. /sci/ is full of science vs religion threads and other troll threads. /tg/ had janitor destroying everything he didn't like until recently, now it's full of metathreads. But at least there aren't edition war threads anymore. I don't visit /v/, but everyone in /g/ and /tg/ keeps saying that it's a shithole.

Oh, it's not as bad as people say(apart from /b/), but if regular forum had half the amount of trolling for the amount of actual content, I probably wouldn't frequent it.

It always surprises me how few people know just how much of a troll Suiseiseki is.

Having watched Rozen Maiden a few days ago, I can say she's a massive troll.

But yeah, I haven't been on 4chan in years. If I'm bored and want 4chan inspired humour I go to 4chan archive because only 4 of every 5 threads there are crap.

/v/ is a trolling shithole when it comes to discussing games. If you take it seriously for too long you will start to hate games, women and humanity in general, but there are good points. MH threads are troll safe and full of good people who can give good advice on how to not get your shit slapped and non vidya threads actually generate good and insightful posts so /v/ is a good nexus of info on wtf is going on in the world. Used to visit /d/ but stopped due to /v/'s waifu and forever alone threads keep my porn folders in stock and who needs the slooooow threads on /d/ when you got ulmf. I still love /d/chan though. Stopped visiting /a/ right after Satoshi Kon died. /a/'s animu threads are like /v/'s vidya threads so I just had to stop, all good animu and manga is bound to be discussed in /v/ anyway. Oh those Berserk threads. Also used to visit /fit/ when I took workouts seriously, but now I just don't have enough time to read about workouts and do them, so I chose to stop reading about them and just do them.

I still dislike that place. It made me a super asshole, even to nice people, and thats not veyr nice.

i said 100% straight, the girls on here mostly bi. however looking for romance online probably isn't the best tactic anyway at least not in a place that isn't about romance (say if its tentacles), but who knows, you might rub someone the right way if your lucky.

not that i encourage frequent soliciting of the ladies here lest you end up with a user title of your very own. you can solicit the men all you want as they need it for their self esteem.

im not trying anyway, lol. My whole life i've followed murphys law, and im fairly certain i Carry that law with a Big gun. So im not going to drag anybody else under bad luck.
