I'm going to say that we're rather unlikely to experience whiting out or overcensoring of nsfw content here. I don't think dlsite will be that harsh towards Quail in terms of censorship, his stuff is already pixel art and there has consistently been less scrutiny shown towards pixel art nsfw games. Many titles around Zell23's pixel resolution, much bigger even, can sit completely untouched.
The main offenders are likely the following:
-Enemies shown in the first page's spoilered comments depicting phallic-shaped enemies. There only seems to be one type though.
-Any scenes related towards these phallic-shaped enemies, obviously.
-A boss-type enemy with uncensored dicks sprouting from their person. That's a definitely a 100% change, and potentially the only thing they may even change.
Unlikely offender suggestions:
-Upscaled art scenes, as seen in Setaria. Not likely to be the case but DLsite's reviewers and policies may have changed things, but I don't think they'd have fair grounds when Quail's always been careful to filter them properly. Think the youtube method of people getting demonetised videos, asking for help and getting more videos demonetised from the extra attention; they can't overpunish if nothing's out of place.
-Nude upscaled art without nsfw content. Quail featured a few of these pieces on his ci-en for likely game-featured purposes. Huge shot in the dark.
-Possibly the "Key" object? I don't know Japan's stance on sexual objects, it seems to be shaky at best.
-Any scenes featuring sexual objects or mechanical objects resembling dicks. Same subject as the previous one but I think the "key" scene is angled to avoid further censoring anyway.
Extremely unlikely offenders:
-Any in-game scenes of normal resolution. Quail understands the censorship dictation pretty well so once again they can't do anything further if nothing's out of place. I genuinely believe those huge blur-blobs slapped across characters is more down to lazy/rushed dev work.
-Any fetishes. Dlsite allows a lot of fucked up and disturbing stuff through normally, it's just that the standard H-game dev is unable to do much besides uggos and NTR. That's on them, 100%.
-Other enemy designs. No chance.
These are just speculations at reasoning for why the game's being delayed + what could be changed, so it ain't reliable gospel. They ARE however made with what patterns I've been able to find. Any exceptions to these are something I disregard, simply because I can see many devs lacking foresight for how this affects the end product and sloppily overcensoring their game. Now, we know Quail does not do this so if we see any changes to censorship for completely fine scenes, we know for certain Dlsite has been enforcing excessive censorship or potentially making the censors themselves.
