Endless mode. No additional H content, so pirates can wait or engage in something else.

Can you breed the heroines and create monsters with unique traits like in Goblin's Burrow or is just the nameless NPCs who don't even really have scenes? That's the thing about Lunasoft, their gameplay is alright for a porn game but their porn is usually pretty bland. Probably gonna be a pass for me, might just check out the full save gallery.

No, there's no system like that in this game. The monsters are all basically standardized. You can level them up and that's about it. Each monster type is opened up via research. you only really have defensive battles, raiding happens of-screen with no actual control beyond what monsters you send out.

On the plus side, you get to corrupt the heroines themselves and use them as combat units, so that's something.

On the minus side, you have zero actual control over the combat beyond where you set the units, the traps, and what spells you can cast. Though you can only really spam the basic attack spell, and that only does so much.

In terms of actual army building, this is just plain inferior to Goblin's Burrow.

DLC announced. This is the first time Lunasoft are doing a DLC/expansion for any game. Turns out the base game did so well and enough players begged for a DLC to convince the developers to go down this route.

Looking at the teaser background, it's 4 girls to be added.

More details forthcoming in the near future.

Edit: The existing girls are getting additional scenes. Didn't read closely enough.

The top 3 girls of the popularity poll, Rin, Reina, and Jessica respectively are definitely getting new scenes. But it's not likely for the others. I lucked out since those 3 are my favorites, but sucks for the lads who were interested in the lesser popular gals (this is why I dislike large female casts, stick 2 at most).

Popularity contest results here:

Popularity contest results here:
DLCの概要をお伝えしますと「既存ヒロインの追加Hシーン」「新規の追加ヒロイン」「ゲームシステムの追加要素」の3つが主な内容になるかと思います。

=

The DLC will broadly include the following three content types: Additional sex scenes for existing heroines, new DLC-exclusive heroines and additions to the gameplay system.

Declaring only the top three get additional scenes is speculation, as there is no word on exactly what additional scenes beyond what has already been said above. Unless user decided to blindly guess what 3つが主な内容になるかと思います meant and decided it referred to the popularity poll which has absolutely no relevance to the original text.

Lunasoft received a lot of questions after the DLC announcement, so he's going to answer them all in a separate Ci-En post since the volume is too high to individually answer them like he usually does. If there is an answer on who gets more content, then the speculation above is justified. Otherwise, it's someone's imagination running wild.

Okay, good to see I misinterpreted it. I was basing my thoughts from the popularity contest to see who would get the spotlight in future content.

Fans of the game, rejoice! Official DLC announcement is now out.

There will be 5 DLC in all. Extra scenes DLC is 110 Yen and the DLC heroines are 220 Yen each.

First DLC adds additional scenes for the top 3 heroines of the original game from the results of the popularity poll (Rin, Lena and Jessica). Based on previews, it's 1 scene each for the 3 (Lena gangrape/groupsex with goblins, Rin footjob etc.).

The DLCs for the new heroines will add them as invaders when criteria are satisfied. Unlike the original heroines, the DLC additions cater to fan demand and will be utilised as monster breeders. There are preview pics of pregnant sex for the DLC heroines in Ci-En for those curious. Because the new DLC heroines are monster breeders, they won't participate in combat and don't have the corrupted variants the original crew had. To compensate, the sex scenes are split between "initial resistance" and "sexually corrupted and addicted to pleasure".

More details on what monsters the DLC heroines will breed will be revealed in due course. I asked on the Ci-En board and was told my guess was more or less spot-on, so just need to wait for more specifics on what exactly the DLC heroines offer compared to the stock monster roster.

Because DLsite have changed their policy regarding unreleased games, Lunasoft have tagged on release dates at a whim which should not be taken as gospel. The second DLC should release October-November 2021, the third one month after the second and the fourth possibly around January 2022.

For those who bought the game: Remember to update the base game to the latest version before purchasing and installing the DLC. Because the DLC were never planned to begin with, installing the latest version will remove all achievements and break save games from older versions!

Lunasoft will try to mitigate the above wipeout through issuing a gallery file or some such through the Ci-En page as an apology, but this is not yet available so hold off on the latest version download until the DLC are available for purchase!

Heh. Bloctai misinterpreted what was meant by the poll correctly, then.

Huh. Wonder if the new events for the main girls are non-canon or something like that. As handing Reina over to the gobbos seems like a bad idea on multiple levels, story-wise.

Version 1.2 is out and as promised Lunasoft have made available a save file which unlocks all H-scenes and Nightmare mode from the get go. All players need to do is follow the Ci-En channel (doesn't even have to be paying, just the free version is enough) and download the patch. Instructions on how to place the patch are given in the newest Ci-En post.

For the pirates, don't bother. Eventually someone is going to upload the game when the DLC content is available, when that's available get the patch or play the game through from scratch using the latest game version.

It sounds like you're misconceiving something.

Pirates are one thing, but if the said files are not paywalled, then the one gaining revenue from this is DLSith. The dev might be getting a small piece of the cake, but it can't be much. Apparently, ad revenue is a taboo subject, especially when it comes to figures, not to mention the actual content of the resold information, so the confusion is (made) natural.

Amusingly, if the above didn't exist, then pirates would be akin to advertisement volunteers - a free workforce! Well, if they didn't exist either, maybe we'd be pickier with the lacking/nonexistent trials, or with the scarce to un-true information written in the description. Or with the commissioned reviews.

Whatever. In any case, I'm glad Lunasoft finally understood it's good to improve v1.0 of a game that's better than the others.

Extra scene DLC now available for purchase.

The next DLC is the first featuring the heroines specifically capturable for breeding. Depending on progress, it's expected to be released around September.

I've got other games to get through before then, so I'm getting this DLC, installing it and then going on standby until the next DLC comes along before doing both in one go.

After numerous delays, the heroine DLCs have a release schedule confirmed. Assuming Covid doesn't mess up the recording scene any further, the DLC heroine packs will release one after another each month starting from December 2021.

For the updated blurb on the DLC heroines, look here:

Previous Ci-En posts mentioned the 1.3.0 update to the base game which is required for the upcoming DLCs. There's a short introduction on the DLC game mechanic required to entice the DLC heroines as well as a teaser on what units the captured DLC heroines will birth.

According to Lunasoft, the DLC research is available immediately from Chapter 1. What players need to do is capture and corrupt the corresponding heroine to the player's side which will eventually trigger a story scene and presumably the entry of the DLC target into the dungeon.

Edit: 1st DLC heroine is available to buy from DLsite on 9th December. Paid subscribers get her early from the Ci-En page a couple of days earlier.

1st DLC heroine now available for purchase. Just 220 yen, so 880 total for all 4 should players choose to buy. The screenshots of the new red caps are intriguing, so if I can be bothered I'll leave a guide on the DLC later.

DLC guide:

Players will notice a new branch of the tech tree as part of the DLC upgrades. The first option requires 300 coin and requires 12 turns to finish, once it's done players can unlock the different DLC heroines with further research. Each option is 3 turns and 600 coin.

After researching the new DLC tech option, players have a new trap to place. This does absolutely nothing to enemies, but having it present on the battlefield gives a base 35% chance for elite units to appear as enemies. To place the trap, the dice of fate must be obtained through raiding, it cannot be bought from the merchant. My advice is to wait until two dice are available and then place the "traps" immediately for a 70% chance to spawn the DLC heroine (and male counterparts once the female has been captured).

According to Lunasoft, if the main heroines are also due to spawn because the main story is still ongoing, they take priority over elite units. For this reason, I recommend placing the dice traps during fallow periods (i.e. just after the chapter's heroines have been captured or when the heroine has just been introduced). If players are going for all four DLC heroines, then start using the dice when there's at least a pair and the raiding parties are strong enough to regenerate the dice before the timer is up.

The trap is the last option when setting up rooms. It costs 150 coin and one dice to place. Duration is 6 turns, so if players want to maximise the return and have the dungeon set up properly, save-scumming for the elite spawn is an option. The latest version 1.31 increases the odds of elite units spawning (effectively guaranteed with 2 dice traps) and powder drops are now 1-2, so players who bought are highly encouraged to redownload and reapply patches.

Mion
Level 2 (Normal)
傑物の威光: Immune to all trap effects (!)
Avoid: 25% chance to evade enemy attack.

The first DLC heroine, she's a monk using hand cestus. Because of her passive, players have to beat her the hard way using units and spells. Beating her and the others gives a HUGE one-time reward of various resources and players capture her straight away (no waiting around like the other heroines).

After capturing her, the game will have flavour text explaining why Mion isn't going to serve as a defence unit and instead is going to birth hobgoblins and red caps. Hobgoblins and red caps are disposable units as they are not permanent like the rest of the monster roster and cannot be strengthened with red souls, however they do not count towards the unit cap and pick from a skill repertoire which grows as Mion is raped. There are two options when choosing which of Mion's rape scenes to view, they'll give the corresponding special unit as a reward. Players require "Succubus powder" for Mion's scenes which is a special resource obtainable only from defeated elite enemies, so players may have to run the elite gauntlet multiple times before 1 powder drops pre-1.31. Birthing one special unit increases the gauge between 8-10. Note the turn duration before each special unit is birthed, players must choose between the generic hobgoblin costing 1 powder or spending 2 for the character-specific variant and longer spawn time. Version 1.31 reduces spawn time by 1 turn compared to older versions for both variants.

The goblins have different ranks, ranging from C to S. The % chance of each rank changes as Mion (or the later DLC heroines) is raped, eventually the probabilities will be a range between B to S goblins with B being most common. At 100% submissiveness, hobgoblins are slightly more likely to spawn at S rank, while the heroine-specific variants have the unique skill set, slightly longer spawn time and duration of existence. Like the regular roster, the special goblins have more than two skills if they spawn at higher ranks (A and above has minimum 3 even if the level is low). The special goblin ATK and DEF stats depend on what rank they spawn, I didn't check too closely but a level 1 C red cap has stats comparable to a level 1 Ogre. S-level special goblins will pick 5 skills from a full set of 10 randomly, so it's not a done deal they'll be a super temporary unit when they're available.

Croonia
Level 2 (Normal)
Regular attack (Magic)
傑物の威光 (防衛魔法): Immune to all defensive magic (!)
Firestorm: When activated, all player units in the room take damage

The second DLC heroine (but she's 3rd in the tech tree order). The "White Sage" with magic skills even Rin acknowledges despite her mere 20 years of age. Unlike Mion, she can't be harmed by dungeon magic, so traps and units are the way to go. Not as durable as Mion, but hits harder because she's a mage.

Lily
Level 2 (Normal)
傑物の威光 (状態異常): Immune to debuffs (slow, stun etc.) (!)
Smite: 50% chance to stun an opponent with physical damage.

The third DLC heroine (2nd in the tech tree order). Mavis warns the player about how talented and dangerous her peer is, considering how Mavis had to date never lost practice sparring until she took on Lily. Unlike the others, it's a straight slog defeating Lily if she reaches your units, but her immunity is the least annoying of the three DLC heroines to date as keeping her trapped in an endless loop with direct damage traps for company while blasting her repeatedly with arcane beam will help whittle her HP down.

Karenariel
Level 2 (Normal)
傑物の威光 (状態異常): Immune to debuffs (slow, stun etc.) (!)
Area heal: All friendly units in the same room are healed a proportion of total health in addition to caster.

The fourth and final DLC heroine. Mavis's busty half-elf druid friend. Last contact was just before the palace gates so ironically it was palace rules that led to their separation and eventual confrontation. Essentially Claire with a magic attack and immunity to status debuffs, she's not difficult to beat provided players have the right units to engage her. She can be whittled down by arcane beam, but it's not as effective as say Lily because she will cast heal every so often when her HP goes below a certain threshold.

Special goblins list and their list of abilities:

Hobgoblin
Dual strike
First Aid
Reveal
Critical Attack
Force
Protection
Learning

Red cap (Mion)
Dual strike
Critical Attack
Critical Skill
Force
Cyclone
Avoid
Haste
首狩り (3% chance to instantly kill enemy unit. Doesn't work on heroines. Asuka's signature skill.)

Mystic (Croonia)
Explosion
Mind Blast
Magic Resistance
Cold snap
Spark
Critical Skill
Firestorm
Blizzard

Heavy Armour (Lily)
Dual Strike
Physical Resistance
Magic Resistance
Protection
Smite
Braveheart (Defence increases in proportion to HP lost, enemy swordsmen have this skill)
守護のオーラ (Aura of Protection: Increases DEF for all friendly units in the room at regular intervals, same skill as the paladins and Henrietta)
Earthquake

Druid (Karenariel)
Area Heal
Area Protection
Area Force
生命のオーラ (Aura of Vitality: Heals all friendly units in the room at regular intervals, One of Henrietta's auras)
守護のオーラ
衰弱のオーラ (Aura of Weakening: Reduces ATK for all enemy units in the room at regular intervals, another of Henrietta's auras)
苦悶のオーラ (Aura of Suffering: Applies a random status debuff to all enemies in the room at regular intervals, another of Henrietta's auras)
範囲拡大 (Range expansion: 50% chance for area skills to affect rooms adjacent to the units. All skills apply, so even the auras can affect adjacent rooms if the RNG roll is good.)

Everyone gets the hobgoblin, and it's useful in a pinch if it gets first aid (limited healing) and/or reveal when heroines and gazers who have Reveal are not available early on. The heroine-specific goblins are closely tied with the RPG class of the DLC heroines and have skills appropriate to their design framework. Better specialisation, hence they do better at specific matchups but worse at others compared to the generalist hobgoblin.

Mion's sex scenes are viewable at any time from the gallery, so players don't need to worry about missing out because they're too busy doing other things rather than putting Mion through goblin rape hell. Only the base rape scene and the default mind break are viewable, the variant which shows the victim breaking after the final ejaculation must be viewed in-game.

Upgrade to v1.31 base game with the DLC and the options to skip the birth and sex scenes are available. Otherwise, just the sex scene is skipped. Skipping the pre-birth sex scene affects the H-stats, but this is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the quality of unit produced.

Just announced in the latest
Game will be localized on Steam by KG.

However :
Regarding the overseas version of "Dungeon's Legion", which has received many inquiries from overseas, the development is scheduled to start next year by the publisher Kagura Games.
The distribution platform will be Steam.

If KG only start working on the translation next year, we'll probably see the release in the 30's.... (not knowing if they'll take all the DLC ...=).

Finished my guide, although it won't interest anyone until the English localisation is complete and people with too much time on their hands try it and diss it. No matter, I have a public backup of my notes should my PC fail.

For those who don't want all four DLC heroines, then the recommendation from a gameplay perspective is Half-elf and then one other depending on player tastes. Although it's possible to get all 4 DLC heroines to 100% on normal mode, it's not worthwhile as the difficulty climbs and losses are more difficult to replace. Realistically speaking, players can max out one heroine early and finish the second just before the end of the game.

With the latest patch, 6 turns of 2 deployed dice of fate will net roughly 4-12 succubus powder. That's usually enough to continually summon the heroine-specific goblin variant every other turn and sometimes leave a surplus to devote to raising a backup.

Heroine specific goblins obviously vary in effectiveness depending on the roll for skills. Even the healer shaman isn't guaranteed one of the healing skills/auras, which will considerably weaken it since it's the worst fighter stat-wise of the four. Heavy Armour is tanky so great for normal difficulty and below, but Nightmare onwards the level difference is reduced and DEF won't help as much against instant-kill and stun attacks. The mage is a glass cannon while the red cap is better than the Heavy Armour at higher difficulty levels for killing and survival provided it gets avoid and 首狩り on its skill rolls. With the right skill combination and a high-enough base level, the temporary reinforcements will more than hold their own even at Hell Chapter 6.

Because each mating sequence increases the gauge by 8-10 points each time regardless of goblin type, it's much more efficient to put up with the 1 powder variant so that the heroine is fully mind-broken by 13 turns latest. Then players can go for the heroine-specific 2 powder option every other turn. In the meantime, players might get lucky if the hobgoblin gets reveal and/or first aid along with a high base level.

It's been the best Lunasoft game to date, so the 10th anniversary offering will have a lot to live up to.
