huh I wonder if it's possible to combine an action with a specific stage

I wish. But last I checked stage specific stuff is not a thing. Even with the newest version MUGEN lacks many things that would make it more interesting to mess with unfortunately.

Posting this here in the hopes that someone will be able to help:

Recently I've bought myself a new laptop, and I passed over multiple things from my tabletop rig to it, one of those being a copy of the QoF Redux collection that used to be in this thread, one that I've been modifying to suit my tastes over the years. The game runs well in my tabletop, with only the occasional hiccup or CTD, but it refuses to start in my laptop despite the version on it being an exact copy of the other one. The way I handled the move was by compressing the original into a RAR made out of many pieces and copying them into a flash drive, which then went into the laptop and copied the contents into the same exact directory path that the original is in. I first thought that the way I made the move could have something to do with it, but I don't think that's it anymore.

The error I get when I try to start the game goes something like: The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\...\d3d11.dll.

I've been doing some research and apparently the above is a fairly common issue with games that use SweetFX, which the QoF Redux version of MUGEN does (as far as I can tell), but I haven't yet been able to find a solution that will let me play the game in my laptop, so I'm hoping that someone around here had a similar issue and managed to find a fix for it. My d3d11.dll file is in place and apparently working well as far as Windows can tell and I'm not finding any glaring errors in the MUGEN config file, so I don't know what the issue could be.

Thanks in advance, here's to hoping this will work. I don't want to build another MUGEN from the ground up for this thing.

Anyone have the old "wankers paradise" level? It was on creatuforo back around 2012 before the forum got nuked. Lost it during an unfortunate mishandling of an external hard drive.

The only thing I find when googling for it is gay porn. Seems to have disappeared from the internet.

Cool man, looks like you found Alf's 4Shared account. I had this bookmarked for a while until the URL broke. Guess he restored it.
My honest opinion is that it's great for newbies and those who want a prebuilt mugen, since it has all of his characters separated as well as the mugen itself.
However, I've always found all of his characters old or outdated, since I've been collecting and working on my own mugen for almost a decade (wow ... it's been a while).

Anyway, kudos for the link - it's helpful for anyone just starting, but there's so much stuff that it does get a little tedious to go through.
That and if you want newer versions of characters, it's probably not the best, especially since there's no version control.

Looks like Alf has Chaos_B, one of my favourite 18+ maps, but it doesn't seem to work with later MUGEN versions, unless somebody knows where an updated stage can be found?

I think most of the posters are really just reposting old characters, so it's like MA now without the drama. Basically a H-mugen warehouse.
But hey, it usually has most of the characters you'd want.

I know about that place, but it's missing a great deal of what should be common ones. Not sure what they're doing.

Well, to be fair, they're just starting off (gaining traction with more posters).
And they're basically replicating MA's purpose, which was to be a warehouse or archive of characters posted by users.
Also, I'm not sure what's common to you -- they do have quite a few characters, and H-mugen is quite extensive already.

I usually just lurk for these things and try to find stuff on my own, but I have hit a wall trying to find a updated version of Luna with the animations of this thread

it seems like the file on mugenryona was deleted, I could only find the sprites (mugen1637 and mugen2207), I tried googling mugen luna (in english and in japanese) and the most updated version that I managed to find is from 2016 which doesn't have the animations I want, it seems mugenarchive had a lunahimeki2 from 2018. I would be really grateful if someone has what I want and shares it. If you are not willing to share, just some instructions on how to add the animation would be fine, I know how to add cut-ins with explod, it's just that I have never added a position like this and it seems like it would take a lot of time.

PS: I like looking at the posts in mugenryona but that uploader is a pain in the ass to find what you want, no search function and the people in the board almost never mention the number of the file, I always end up searching page by page by file name.

I would say just visit mugen ryona more often they got updated chars but some images are exclusive
