Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

While Rose looked like she had been ready to take the slime on without too much hesitation, the door shutting was a more easy way out of the situation. Probably. At least the thing was not right on them now with the door there between the two parties.

Going along on the corridor, the next door on the left side was closed initially but not locked in any way. The area behind the door was some sort of laundry room, few washing machines and a whole lot of light brown uniforms in more or less organized stacks being the primary features to be found there. While it still had some mess, it was the most orderly room from the ones the two had seen up to that point.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle didn't Want to leave the slime back there, just in case it could seep through the door's cracks, but she knew that they were here to handle a job, and one that they should probably handle quickly. Thankfully the door to the left of the entry area that they'd come through wasn't locked, and so Adelle headed in through it, to a laundry area from the looks of it. "Huh, I wonder if either of these paths are gonna lead to this guy we're looking for," Adelle commented as she and Rose went into the laundry room.

She'd look around for any other paths out of there, and if they found any, then Adelle would suggest heading out that way as she explored the place to try and find their mark.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"There's a lot of doors, for sure... But... I think it might end up being necessary to look... Might miss that one place where he is..." Rose commented on the situation, the ten different doors on the corridor presenting some looking through if they all were to be investigated. They had only investigated three out of the ten after all. There was the main lobby and the door to the inside yard too, but the most current areas were the staff quarters and whatever the remaining ones contained.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Indeed. Let's check it all out then," Adelle replied as she nodded in agreement. "Well, wanna split up and cover the rooms faster? I'll take right, you take left," Adelle then suggested, as she reached for the next closest door on the right and opening it up, while Rose went for the left ones, assuming she could open the doors up without help that is, though if she couldn't then Adelle would suggest they stick together and start on the right side.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Alright..." Rose would agree, not having any objection to the idea. The two went ahead on their own sides to investigate, Adelle finding a security room with a boatload of dead camera screens within, along with a lot of similar equipment that belonged to these security rooms from the second door along the right side. She could manage a little look into the room until she heard Rose yelp from the third left room.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle got into the room she'd picked out and was looking around at the old camera monitors and around the room itself some too, before she heard Rose's yelp and bounced out of the room and quickly hopped over to the one Rose was in. "Rose, what happened?" Adelle asked quickly as she rounded the corner into the room, looking around with pistol in hand just in case.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Moving out to investigate as any concerned partner would, Adelle let the camera monitors be to check on Rose and her condition. Finding a mostly barren room with only a few stored bed frames within, there was also the whole thing with Rose. The large girl was somehow taken off her feet by a set of plant-like vines coming from a large bulb about ten feet high in the ceiling, the thing somehow managing to suspend Rose with two vines holding her under the shoulders and one around her neck. There were two other bulbs in the room as well, on other spots in the ceiling a little farther back. While the first one was having issues with actually holding and moving Rose, it did seem to have the situation down at the moment and might have it's way with her if past experiences were of any indication, the bulb itself looking like it could open up. The struggles from the large girl were certainly not making it easier, but she too was having issues with getting any real swipes going in her current state.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Seeing the situation before her, Adelle rushed in and holstered her pistol, and pulled her sword out, trying to move in and cut Rose free if she could manage it. "Hang on hon, I got you. Looks almost like it's having as much trouble if not more than you are," Adelle said, moving around carefully to hopefully perform her cuts without getting grabbed herself.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Getting into fight mode, Adelle took out her wakizashi, the blade probably serving her better than the gun in destroying these things and their limbs. And it did do just that, Rose's own struggles failing to get a claw swipe lined up but the busty girl's unrestrained weapon succeeding in cutting a vine cleanly as some green liquid sprayed from the stumped vine-limb. The thing fell limp as it was severed, the separated bit falling off the large girl's body and the remaining tendrils releasing their hold on Rose as she got back to the ground, the coil around her neck having given her a tough time as she looked to be gasping for air a bit. But it was not going to be that easy, it looked like.

The plant, having had it's attack halted, seemed to possess some level of intelligence as it pulled off something unexpected. Instead of trying a grab on Rose again, it slammed her in the back with several tentacles, forcibly shoving her further into the room. The bulb nearer to the middle activated at this point, picking up on where the first one had started as it reached down to pick the large girl up again in pretty much the same fashion as the first one had. Having done what it had set out to do, the first one seemed to turn attention towards Adelle as the vines were now creeping towards her direction.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Now that's just great, couldn't have been That easy could it," Adelle muttered to herself as the tentacles tossed Rose over at one of the other bulb things, which picked up where the first left off.

Adelle nimbly tried to dodge any incoming grab attempts by the plant creature's tentacles, and would slip around and hack at them with her wakizashi anytime they got close in an attempt to keep from being grabbed. "Hang on Rose, I'm coming," Adelle called over to her companion, making sure that she had the time to get back from the thing trying to grab her before rushing over to Rose and trying to cut her down yet again, hopefully getting out of the reach of the first one.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Planning her movement quickly, Adelle went on to perform as she had been imagining it, moving through the area that the nearest tentacle bulb plant was covering, cutting two tentacles and spilling more green blood-like liquids with a swipe along the way. She could probably pressure upon the middle plant now, but the ongoing struggle between Rose and that particular one appeared to be going towards the bad for the large girl as she was grabbed by more tentacles, two more coming down and wrapping themselves under her breasts so they could lift her up further. Rose herself was not managing to get anything done and was getting raised towards the bulb itself, which cracked open to reveal the somewhat fleshy-looking insides and a long pistil as she was brought closer, a few trails of clear slime coming out and landing onto her head and chest as it did. It was clearly trying to get her in there, though the bulb was not big enough to have more than a head in it, but maybe that was the point.

Trying to harass the center plant and hopefully free her newfound friend, Adelle was having less luck though as all the vines present twisted and snaked their way away from her cuts. Rose was almost looking like she was a nonfactor to the fight, nothing happening despite her best efforts to claw her way out. The plant did not get much done either, still looking to get the large girl inside so it could do whatever it was planning to. The one nearest to the door sought to bring itself to the fight though, not quite being out from the situation yet as it reached it's longest tendril to grab and pull Adelle towards itself by the wrist. She was not to be held for long though, swiftly clearing the offending limb with a twisting cut.

Unfortunately for Rose, she did not seem to be able to get herself out of the situation, and was more thoroughly restrained as two further tentacles pinned her arms against her sides, the combined effort of seven different vines finally managing to bring her in as she was hoisted into the bulb. The slightly wriggling pistil poked at her gasping mouth, pushing itself in as the bulb closed, trapping her head inside as the thing carefully set itself to avoid the horn. Adelle was in a modestly good situation, not having taken any hurt and having dealt a good few severed tentacles to the one plant with her blade. Yet she was now squarely under it, and it could probably still grab her with the remaining six vine limbs it had on call.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Just managing to get past the first plant like thing, Adelle sped towards the one holding Rose thankfully, but there's where her luck seemed to end, as she saw more tentacles coming down to grab Rose and start hauling her upward. Looking up at the bulb as it opened up, Adelle gasped softly, and knew that that pistil thing was likely to shove in their mouths to pump some form of aphrodisiac down their throats to keep them well good and horny. When she was grabbed by the wrist however, that snapped her back to attention, and she swung her wakizashi out at the thing, and slashed herself free, cutting the tentacle clean off of the bulb thing.

"N-No, can't have you grabbing me. Got to save Rose," Adelle growled at the thing, as she turned back to Rose to find her hauled up further by a total of seven tentacles, which rather impressed Adelle, that it had taken quite that many to restrain Rose like that.

It was unfortunate though that Rose's head soon disappeared into the bulb, which was apparently wide enough to avoid her horn from the looks of it. Adelle frowned and knew that it'd be tough to get to Rose from there, and she'd have to first deal with the other bulbs before she could get her companion down. Adelle pulled her kukri out and pointed it straight up, and threw it up at the bulb directly above her in an attempt to hit the bulb itself before the tentacles tried to grab at her again, knowing she Might be in a bit of trouble if she had to tangle with six at once.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

The knife throw went pretty spot on, the chunky knife embedding itself into the side of the bulb as Adelle chucked it, sending the tentacles into a flailing frenzy as the main part was seriously cut by the heavy blade. The thing was distracted for now, apparently having some sort of distress system as the damage to the bulb triggered the trashing in the vines. It was certainly not aiming to grab Adelle anymore, the wild flailing taking all the attention of the wounded plant being.

Rose's side was not looking much brighter, the kicking and squirming against the tentacles not relieving the binding any as the large girl remained trapped in her predicament. But she was not completely out of it, the sight of her horn suddenly pushing through the wall of the bulb showing that she still had some ability to defend herself even when bound. Yet she did not get her head out, the wriggling signifying that something lewd was probably going on in there.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Throwing her kukri up at the bulb seemed to be the right idea, and she smiled as it struck home. "Yes... take that bastard," Adelle muttered to herself as the kukri blade sank into the bulb, distracting it quite a bit from the looks of it.

This gave Adelle the chance to rush over to Rose, as she saw Rose's horn stab through the bulb holding her. Adelle wanted to jump up and grab Rose, but she knew that might not be the best idea, but she didn't know of many other choices here to be perfectly honest. Looking around, Adelle jumped up and grabbed onto Rose's legs and started pulling downward, pulling Rose back into the room a bit, away and directly opposite from the wounded bulb, where she hopefully was able to pull Rose free, if her luck held, and if any of the bulb's tentacles that was holding Rose swatted at her, Adelle would swing her wakizashi at them as she pulled Rose's legs.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Grabbing onto Rose's large legs, Adelle engaged the bulb in a tug-o-war. The seven tentacles were strong, and held on quite tenaciously, apparently liking the idea of keeping their prize female for now. But the decider here turned out to be Rose herself, two more horn punctures coming briefly after the first as she remained otherwise bound up. The triple holes were too much for the plant apparently as it suddenly opened up, the bulb releasing both the large girl and an almost as large gout of slime from within itself before the tentacles too loosened up completely, going into the same frenzy as the first one had. They moved back a little, not quite enough to clear them from the room but underneath the nearest to the door, that was starting to calm down from the frenzy, having adapted to the pain for the most part by then.

Having been pulled out, Rose was on her claws and feet, the slime on her head and shoulders looking like she had just taken a fifty-man bukkake shot. It was a truly messy look. Perhaps a little worse than that were the wheezing breaths she was taking, still having issues with breathing or maybe having something in there that was bothering her. They would have to make a quick decision as the plant above them was starting to gain it's primitive planning and performing ability back.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Tugging on Rose's legs, Adelle found that the creature's tentacles were quite strong and didn't seem to want to let go of Rose in the slightest. "N-No... she's My friend, not... yours. Give her... Back!" Adelle grunted as she pulled, and finally as Rose's horn punched two more holes through the bulb, the thing started flailing like crazy in response, and Adelle managed to pull Rose down, or at least she'd like to think she was the main reason why Rose got down anyway.

When she was down, Adelle saw Rose panting and wheezing a bit and knew that they had to hurry to get out of here, but Rose was in no shape to get up, and Adelle knew it. Thinking quickly, Adelle sheathed her wakizashi, and quickly got under Rose, so Rose's breasts were pressing against her back, and Adelle wrapped her arms around Rose as best she could, and started carrying Rose on her back towards the door leading out of the room, hoping to get her out before the tentacles started grabbing at them again. "I gotcha hon, I'm not leaving you," Adelle promised Rose, carrying the larger girl with all her strength she could muster.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Quickly getting into position, Adelle sought to carry the rather large Rose out with her just like that, the execution being rather daunting as she felt the weight on her. Regardless, she progressed steadily towards the door. The nearest plant recovered too, reaching out and trying to grab something, but it kinda ended up helping them as the attempt turned into a push, sending them both out as it thumped Rose in the back instead of taking a hold on her. Just like that, they were out. The large girl started coughing as she went back to her knees and claws, the noises coming out from her only barely. It did look like there was something stuck in her throat and she was trying to get it out.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle felt her muscles straining, but she wasn't going to just leave Rose in here for the whims of these things. Thankfully the tentacles ended up thumping Rose in the back and they tumbled out into the corridor again, where Adelle looked very worried about Rose as she was coughing like crazy, seeming to have something caught in her throat. Adelle knelt down and leaned down to look and see if it was something that she'd need to pull out of Rose's throat. "Try and calm down hon, just relax... the more you tense up the harder it'll be to get it out," Adelle told Rose gently, trying to help her calm down so they could get Rose's throat cleared up.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Looking up a bit, Rose nodded her head as she tried to follow the instruction, but it turned out to not be really needed as the next fit seemed to do the job. A round, hard clump of greenish-brown material clacked onto the floor as the large girl got it out from her, followed by a small torrent of white liquid onto the thing. It looked like an egg, or more like a seed, given what the source was. And the whole thing did appear to help as the breathing problems ceased once the possible egg was out from her, the air flowing steadily into Rose's lungs again once relieved of the obstruction. "Why..." was the only thing that she managed to say as she looked down at the seed, the reaction suggesting that it had been the first time she had experienced something like that.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

As Rose hacked up the large seed looking thing, it seemed to help clear her air passages up enough for her to breathe without any trouble. "There you go hon, get it all out," Adelle said softly, patting Rose's back a few times to help her cough the rest of the slime out.

"Probably trying to plant its seed in you. I've seen something similar to this before, and it... did manage to plant its eggs in me. Though the thing I'm mentioning planted its eggs... elsewhere, and didn't try to shove them down my throat, thankfully. I want my kukri back though, so I'm gonna find something to pull it loose with real quick. Will you be okay here? Just rest against the wall, okay," Adelle said softly, patting Rose on the head before looking around for a broomstick or something she could use to prod her blade loose from the bulb and pull it back over, before they continued their exploration.
