The old concept of the first idea (of the first game) appealed to me the most. But, this new idea, with the top down aspect, really has me raising an eyebrow, just like how Aika was. I've a picture of it in my mind, which counts for nothing, I know, since I have no idea how Giron plans to go about making this, but I still don't like that mental image. I can see it being 'fun' with the top down shooter gameplay, but it's very, very hard for me to imagine it as, 'hot'. Hilarious, maybe, (a tentacle fucking an angel in the sky during midflight), but it's really hard for me to picture anything using these ideas as something truly worth playing a second time, just to fap to.

Don't get me wrong, it sounds like it'll be fun, but it does make me wonder if it'll actually be hot.

Alright, here is the first (and very rough* concept for the heroine character. No wings yet, still trying to find a pair that is satisfying. I could have either gone with the more heavily armored version, or this lighter version, though I might try a concept with the heavier armor just to give it a whirl. The proportions of the body are a little slender to what I like, but I didn't want to take the hair-pulling time required to tweak and twerk every little piece of armor to fit just so. Thoughts?

Anyways... I'm curious about the top down stuff aswell, especially for a RoR game... I enjoy a side view myself, but who knows, I might have to change that^^

and it truly depends on how small you plan on making the character...
Being as this is in style of the old flight fighters, my mental image would be of her being smaller...
If that were the case, you might want to exaggerate her features a little...

A good rule of thumb to follow would be to make hips as wide as shoulders, for women. Because I have to agree, her hips do lack femininity (if thats even a word)

Other than that, looks awesome.

*nods* The only reason she ended up so...masculine...was because I didn't want to fiddle with magnetizing the clothing so that it fit properly. I'm going to be trying a different set of armor later tonight that should allow me a bit more freedom to tweak and refine the shape.
