The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

So who else loves GARLIC BREAD? stuff is like crack.

i had a garlic bread once, i cut it down the middle and stuffed it with cheese and ham before baking it. the oiliest and best thing i have ever eaten.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention something about it in my post. Yeah, I have the tendency to get bored and try new shit with it all the time. Thanks for the idea nunu, got to do that one next.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

The game, I wish I had the books. Have they been translated yet?

Indeed some have been. A little over a year now I think? Books sneak out so much quieter than movies do.

About Garlic Bread... I love it smothered and cheese and with real bacon bits pushed in. And cooked to a point where the bread isn't fully crispy and hard. Still fairly chewy.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I love Stromboli.

I also love making copies of my TV shows onto DvD

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Ergh, cheats. If you're not going to play the game properly the first time then don't bother playing it at all is my advice to anyone who uses cheats as soon as they play a game.

But to stay on topic; I love RPG's. the game genre, not the weapon.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

What about cheats to unlock things?

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Agreed. Cheats imo are something to dick around with after you've finished a game (I had tons of fun with Oblivion's dev mode after I'd finished the campaign and most of the sidequests), but for me, they take out the fun of the game and make it boring much faster than usual. But my idea of fun is not necessarily your idea of fun so I won't come down too hard on you.

Also, I think I'm going to make some garlic bread right now. UMMMMMMMMGOOODDDDD.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Only after the first playthrough, Toxic. In FO3 I completed the main storyline first, then I started a new character and then I had some fun with the console commands.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

cheats... haven't used them since I was little.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I think I agree with most of the people above. It's fun to play with cheats after you've already beaten the game. Though for Bethesda games I prefer to play with mods, rather than use any cheats.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I usually feel that way, unless it's gotten to the point where I'm so frustrated and angry that I'd like to just snap the game in half rather than go on.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Sometimes games are annoyingly hard and then cheats should be used, to see the main plot, especially if the person playing is younger than the expected age (read: my own first experience with Starcraft, age 10). Other times cheats shouldn't be used too much, excepting various circumstances (First level of Warcraft 3, there's a hidden bit that can't be seen without the use of black sheep wall- err, iseedeadpeople, containing something amusing).

Really? *goes to check*

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

The 'phat lute' (might have spelt that wrong) and the two bandits near it and the shipwreck. Then there's the recruitable Hydralisk on that no-base Night Elf level, which can only be found by being Obsessive Compulsive with the catapult and knocking down every tree on the map till you find it, or by seeing it after using iseedeadpeople...

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I don't usually use cheats until I've grown bored to the game, but they are sometimes necessary. Right now I've played Vampire: the Masquerade: Bloodlines to the point where I either have to cheat or play half the game again, since I've spent much of my experience points in social skills. And the console doesn't work for me...
