Well I recently picked up on the game The Oregon Trail again, and after playing a round with Obe, I've decided to play with you guys. I'm pretty sure you guys've play this before. If not, I'll explain:
Welcome to the Oregon Trail! I'm your gamemaster, Darkfire. On the Oregon Trail, we'll be roughing it on the harsh realities that the real pioneers faced. In this game, we'll have control over four pioneers. We'll name them and give them the occupation that they had before leaving. Each one has a different advantage and disadvantage. Thus we can choose when to leave, and what supplies to buy before setting out.
What your job to do is to dictate me into working things such as telling me when to stop and hunt, how we should cross the river, what to buy and trade, and the like. Exciting!
Now on more popular forums, like /b/ and Gamefaqs, we usually get quick and immediate responses. But these forums are a little less active than those. Thus, I'll give a time limit of 24 hours to come up with responses to situations that will undoubtedly arise.
Now to make sure I'm not overcrowded and swamped with people in case this gets a bit popular (I hope it does), I have to put up a sign up sheet. This way if I'll know how many votes have been cast and if there are people not voting.
And those of you who want your own copy, there's a torrent in Piratebay found here:
Don't worry. It's in rar form; no need to mount on Daemontools or stuff like that.

To get Oregon Trail, you don't need to install or anything. After getting the download, extract the thing to wherever you want it.
Then go into the folder and look for the OTWIN32 folder.
Look for the OREGON32.EXE and click that. There you go.
