More like buttheads cranking it up to 11 just to "be the ones to make a change". Up until that point, it really wasn't a problem. No one got a lot of rep points on inane crap. Negative or otherwise.

So really, this is a case of the few overpriviledged assholes winning.

But really, I am all for anything that can stop the possibility.

1.I think they should make a system where you can get rep if you want to, if you don't want any comments, you can get a black bar that disables people from giving you rep.

2.Give a like system like face book where there are no comments just emoji s. XD

3. Give a rank system like SSS class, SS, S , A and so on till Z

4. Like I mention before, leave it disabled and let the

Honestly, I am with that insect (Caulder) about doing away with the rep system. BUT maybe replace it with another nice little points system that doesn't rely on posts.

I keep suggesting a cute little Breakout game that records your high scores and says them in every post in your info.

or "I like your pun"

Stuff that I wouldn't make a whole post for. Clearly people are using it to try to piss off others though

Heard in the shoutbox Flayer just temporarily disabled it for an issue of harassment that was going on. Some of these suggestions could be pretty good replacements though, if at least like to see more descriptions at different levels :eek:

And Zeph as a gym rat, guess I can see that ;)

On a more serious note IMO, all that needs to be done to stop abuse of the system is limiting rep power. Is there any real reason why someone should be able to contribute or detract more than 100 points of rep?

I got to admit the scaling was retarded, I was rank 4 so if I was to neg rep someone he'll lose like 3k or more. >.>

Or that one guy I gave to (cause he was being a douche and was asking for links, instead of using google.), so it went from plus 3 to neg 5. XD
