I understand your point, still was there a need to define toonpimp as a "slave" or saying he should learn from toffi?
If you didn't make that stupid example, which caused negative reactions, i wouldn't have had anything to say to you, because it's up to you which one you like better, but it's really bad form to insult someone behind his back where he can't defend himself, that's what got me angry(since the beginning of the thread ).
No one needs an objective reason to "like" something, but when you share your opinion, giving objective reasons makes it more acceptable for those who disagree, you can say "i like this more than that" and no one argues, but when you say "this is better than that" it's another story, it stops being what you like or dislike, it becomes what you think is better and obviously there will be people who disagree and want to prove you wrong, but they can't, because you didn't say anything to justify your opinion, all you said is "this is better because i like it more", and the most common response to that is "who the fuck made you judge?", communication is about compromises, if you don't care about lowering yourself to someone else's level, you can't really expect that someone to care enough to rise to yours. Now, i waste a lot of energy going up and down the stairs all the time, so it kinda piss me off when i'm the only one trying to be fair.
The way you put it we shouldn't even argue about anything because it's all about tastes, but if you think that way than the whole purpose of a forum is destroyed:

You should agree this is kind of painful to look at. Neither of them gets to learn a thing from the other, neither of them grows or widens his point of view. In the world of subjective views, everyone is a closed system, no exchange, no growth, you need a common ground to be able to communicate, and you need to communicate to be able to grow, if you only care about what you like, you'll never evolve, you'll never discover something about yourself that you might not have noticed. If you never enter a bookstore cause you don't like books, you might never meet that person who would completely change your life, and you'll never know how happy you could have been.
If you really think there is nothing objective to talk about in games then i guess a lot of people have been making money out of thin air.

There's no need to focus on our divisions, fuck knows there's enough of them in the world.
For the record, I generally enjoy TP's games, and think he has some games that show a promising starting point, but he's not learned and developed much since then. It's not surprising, because he works not out of love but out of (weak) obligation. Art is an expression of the soul, and if there's no emotion going into the work then the work will seem, as TP's does, to be trashy.
(And, yes, I consider H-games art. Sue me.)
I have far more respect for Toffi. His games have problems, yeah, but you can see marks of improvement all the time. He's showing some real creativity, and, more than that, there's the sense that he's enjoying what he does. Drawing etc skill might not be there, but it doesn't have to be - the 3d sprites animate well enough for my suspension of disbelief to kick in.

You shouldn't be asking (edit: demanding) donations so you can continue your product, you should make it because YOU WANT TO. The ONLY time you should ask for money is when you are commissioned to make something. And then you should FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE COMMISSION. Toffi on the other hand has shown that he can make decent games without buttfucking his fans. It doesn't matter whether his stuff is 'unique' or what not, he's made some good stuff and doesn't demand anything back so you shouldn't hate on him. Hell, you should be respecting him because he delivers a finished product.
