I love Xelvy's art, but can't stand the H-scenes. It's kinda a shame. He'll draw these girls who have great proportions and look hot af, but you know the rape scene will be just them crushing your balls and sucking them out through your urethra or something horrifying like that. At least with Shiki's Ancestors you're getting something you can actually fap to.


Also does TrTr really plan on showing off 1 Ancestor/Archangel per month until release, or am I thinking too hard? Cause that would mean at this rate we'd have another whole year to go. I get Part 3 is huge, but they're REALLY testing the patience of their fans if the wait is 36+ months. At that point you might as well just make Paradox a Quadrilogy and have Part 3 in 2019 and Part 4 in 2021.

Shikis art is very nice, but his girls are all so boring. It's always humanoid succubus energy drain dry fishing, it gets old fast.
Xelvy, the madman, is a wild card. You sometimes get the normal scenes (like his minotaur, very vanilla) or you get the "oh god what am i watching!?" (like the XD girl in the third tartarus).

I think TrTr got a little sidetracked with all the cg collection games which might have delayed part 3 a little further. Atleast that might help them not get burnt out on paradox.

I'm a fan of both artists, though. The 6 Ancestors and the Arch-Angels all have pretty interesting designs. It's just too hard to get really hype for these games until they're about to release. The wait is so long. I can only replay the others so many times. Thought I might as well just do that again anyways and setup save threads for Illias route and Alice route and play them both at the same time to compare, since the routes are supposed to be dramatically different this time around.

Yeah I mean, I want to be clear and say overall I'm a fan of Xelvy, because I love his artstyle, it's just his H material I have a problem with, but I get some people like that. Shiki never gets old for me though. He's probably my favorite artist in the series.

I think hype for Part 3 will start once the trailer drops. I do have to wonder about overall interest in the game once it drops. It does seem like Monster Girl games aren't as popular as they were some years back, and the wait for Part 3 is just so long. I hope it sells at least just as well as Part 2 or more, but we'll see.

I'm still holding out hope for late Q4 2019 to Q1 2020 release.

That's because of saturation. Monster Girl games were never anything new but thanks to the success of the original MGQ and the VNs from Vanadis on the H side plus some key series on the non-H side..... popularity of monster girls grew really fast.....so a lot of creators wanted to get in on it or always had the urge to do it but didn't think it would sell. I think mostly because no matter what fetish you have.....there's almost certainly a monster girl who can fulfill it. And if not, you can create an original one.

I myself have enjoyed MGs in games for a long time but even I got tired of seeing yet another femdom centered monster girl game that seemed to come out every single month. So works like Vanadis makes that center more around romance or the monster girl themed brothel games I ended up gravitating to them instead. MGQ is still among my favorite just because of so many artist I like who play a part and the story.....but yeah, despite my love for monster girls I find myself skipping over more and more titles. Hopefully once part 3 release and i just sit down and go through all 3 parts (stopped after part one since I hate the long wait between story), I can regain interest in MG themed games.

Xelvy being in charge of pretty much all the new archangels is instantly killing all interest I had for them as a whole. Xelvy is a curse, a guy with the unique ability to turn any scene into something I can't fap to, be it a scene with tartarus monsters, artificial creatures, or even the most basic thing like a human female doing a blowjob, that guy can ruin it all, much worse than other creators of abominations like Delphinus. I think he is used more and more because he works for dirt cheap, for very obvious reasons. What I don't understand is why they don't just get some diversity for something like archangels or ancestors, seeing a few different takes on how artists would draw archangels is a lot more interesting than having the same guy draw them all, and that way you make sure theres something for anyone.

Wow I didn't consider that, but that's a very interesting take on it. And yeah there has certainly been a lot of pale imitators over the years since MGQ blew up, but sifting through the junk, there have been some really good games that have come out imo.

These are probably the ones that aren't from TrTr, that I'd recommend to others, especially SHRIFT. That game probably has the best Battle Fuck system of any MG game I've seen, although it's pretty difficult.

Can relate, been playing MGQ since the first few games came out and while my hentai preference was pretty tame back then, I found a good amount of Xelvy's scenes tolerable in MGQ3 and even liked some of the.... less popular scenes. Now that several years have passed, I've further degenerated into a sick fuck that's in love with most of Xelvy's scenes in paradox and they're scenes I look forward to most when playing MGQ now (don't judge me, we're all on a forum site discussing hentai games).
For me, I'm still looking forward to anything that he puts out and I'm excited for the archangels that are done by him. On the other hand though, one of the things I like most about MGQ is the amount of different artists that provide their scenes for this games, even the less savory ones. And even as much as I love Xelvy and his twisted sense of porn and his fucked up scenes, I wouldn't exactly wish for his scenes upon the other people who're playing MGQ for the more normal content.
Overall, more Xelvy is paradise for me but I can see it sucking for everyone else and have Xelvy do the majority of the archangels wouldn't do the game or the fans any favors.

Speaking of artists, I wonder how Shiki is going to handle the Ancestors' H-scenes. His portfolio is mainly succubi who lethally drain their partners. This is ideal for Minagi (and the Lilith Sisters), but it's less suited for the rest. How is he going to depict Kanon's voracious nature? Will Tamamo use her tails, Saja her wings and tail, Kanade her slime?

That's arekishi aka Alexi in english. He's the one that got me to like oppai loli in the first place.

There's no confirmed date. However, judging from the current pace of updates, it probably won't be released until 2020.

Most people (myself included) are speculating it'll be released sometime Dec 2019 - July 2020, which I know is a huge window, but we have little to work off of in terms of predicting a date. The only thing that's throwing me in a bit of a loop however, is that in April 2018, TrTr blogged to not expect Part 3 to be out in 2018. Right now it's August 2019, and he hasn't blogged whether or not to expect a 2019 release. There are two reasons I can think of why this is:

1. He just simply doesn't feel obligated to say, or maybe hasn't thought of mentioning it at all.
2. Given the pace they're going at, there's a chance they could have it ready for a late 2019 release, which is why he's holding back on saying whether or not to expect it this year.

That said, there's also the pattern of him releasing a preview of an Ancestor/Archangel once every month. There are 6 Ancestors and 7 Archangels. So if he started doing this in June 2019, then going by that pattern, he would release them all by July 2019. So some people are speculating Summer 2020.

If Part 3 doesn't release in 2019, then I'd imagine by the end of the year ToroToro might feel pressured to give us some real information on when we can actually expect a release. Probably not the actual date, but a window of when it would happen. IMHO I'm down with taking lots of time to making this the best they can, but waiting til Summer 2020 would suuuuuck, so if that's the case, this better end up being the best damn H-game ever.

I recall reading that Part 3 is going to be larger then the first two parts and they plan on converging all the paths so that you can prob take both alice and illias in a NG+ true ending. But i expect it to be 2020.

I think Dargoth is pretty much exhausted from doing part 1 and most of 2, I'm not sure if he would be willing to take on part 3 or, how long it or fast it could go.

I don't blame Dargoth for taking a long break or even throwing in the towel if he's had enough. By all accounts, he did a lot of amazing work. What was pretty lame however was just up and disappearing. Assuming all is well in his life and he just wants to step away, the least he could do is make a post about it.

Thank goodness for a separate team picking up the reigns though.

I've been playing Part 1, and was about to get Part Two but I've noticed I think when i alt tab that I lose access to the x key and instead i have to use Alt tab instead to use it till i close the game and reopen it. Does Part 2 fix this or is there a fix for this?

I have problems like that with rpgmaker games in general. For whatever reason it fixes itself if I turn numlock off then on.
