Re: Witchcraft II
I played a few of her demo's and wanted to know if the issues I encountered were improved upon, or if she stuck to her same-old with coding and such. Some of the issues are as follows:
->Character's slowly sliding across a stage while the walking animation is performed with no option to increase the speed by which you progress through an area.
->BF scenes are painful to watch as the movements look both slow and unnatural.
->Any time a spell or whatever is used that requires a weapon or some sort, the animation and/or projectile move as slow as the character moves.
I feel like to some extent that these are issues anyone wanting to sell a quality product would not only fix, but make an attempt to prevent happening again. My rig runs GTAV (A more graphics-intensive game) smoothly, though admittedly the framerate does fluctuate between 55 and 60. Is Witchcraft II an improvement over the first game? Or is it much of the same in terms of "poor programming"? If it's the latter, I might suggest she switch to something that's easier to work with and/or doesn't have the latency issues her current system has.
Also, is it me or does she not know how to scale screenshots properly or, in the very least, hyperlink them so an interested party can click them and get a better resolution in a separate tab? Vanja strikes me as someone with a lot of ambition but little ability and no motivation to self-educate on these things. I wonder in that same sense if maybe she's foreign (Outside NA). Regardless, I think she needs to hyperlink her screenshots to a higher resolution so non-members and members can see what they're signing up for. Oh, and failure to properly inform consumers when advertising something is considered false advertising. Having low-resolution images that provide no detail of what is being presented as a product can be interpreted as willfully misleading consumers.
Then again, I'm of the mind that if someone is dumb enough to blindly throw money at something that is of questionable quality (not talking about people who are members on Vanja's site in particular since I've not enough to say if it's questionable or crap) without learning something ought to be denied their financial independence. I'm also of the mind that if shit is low-quality (subjectively) one ought not to acknowledge the existence of that something. Personally, I like her art and the concepts behind her content, but the snail's pace of everything in her games is a turn-off. Some hope that she fixed that issue is sufficient to pique my interest.
