Inon Zur is pretty badass guy for making the soundtrack of Dragon Age though my favorite is pretty much from Leliana's Song DLC

Also want to point out that one of the first things I did with my flute was to learn pretty much every Ocarina song from OoT. The complete songs, of course, not just the ones for the buttons you push.

There's a lot of vidya game music I like, so naturally, it's very hard to produce some good examples when put on the spot. But because I've been playing Big Bang Age by Alicesoft recently, here's

Apologies to anyone who claws their eyes out in frustration caused by the memories this song inspires. It's a bit like that. Big Bang Age is totally worse than Rance in terms of difficulty curve though.

Yutaka Minobe and Tatsuyuki Maeda composed for Skies of arcadia. I fucking love this OST and never get tired of the music.

in particular was exceptionally good and was set to change dependent on your party's health and the health of the boss.

. I've been listening to it extensively. I can only imagine how awesome it would be with an orchestra, but at the same time, there would need to be one hell of a composer. The synths in that song seem to bring out an evil kind of feeling and that may disappear if not done right.

So I think I've found a small piece from Clint Mansell's score on ME3. It's from part of a demo.

Most of the music heard in the demos are from previous ME titles. However, this little cue really sounds like Mansell's work.

Both Deus Ex 1 and 2 had excellent scores.

Then going back a bit, Command and Conquer. By Frank Klepacki was simply awesome. Enjoy much of his work across the C&C series.

I dont find as many newer game OSTs from major developers that great when compared to 5-15 years ago. Though the Halo and Bio Shock series do standout.
