Re: What made you feel giddy today?

Discovered the exercise bike can be turned up in resistance, after going on the highest setting for awhile I felt really pumped.

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

Got an iPod Touch, now if only a certain forum had an app...

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

can you just use a browser on it like you can on my phone.

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

Yes, but its slow, and always zoomed WAY THE HELL out. As in, the words are microscopic. I'm lazy. I don't wanna pinchy zoom. Apps are good. X|
lol

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

Do I need tgo make more posts or rants against iPods?

Because I will. I fucking will. The only area they have any superiority is the amount of aps are crap made for them, and that's simply a by-product of their popularity.

My company I work for in the third degree (Work for agency, who contract me out to centre, who contract me out to telco company) was an entire department dedicated to iPhone faults. An entire specialised mobile department for just the iPhones. And stock shortages are so severe we only sell the iPhone 4 to new customers. But I'm yet to figure out WHY.

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

My brother share's your views on iPods Inc, but mostly he hate fixing them. He works in phone repairs and regularly rants about the supposedly evil and illogical design. Whenever he gets angry about any other random subject he often likes to divert back to iPods with a pained cry of "SEVEN DIFFERENT TYPES OF SCREW!!!"

On top of the screw thing, also protests about Apple's use of glueing in the components, presumably as a barrier to tinkering and hacking attempts, but requiring him to painstakingly use a special acid and attempting to cut away at it, where the slightest slip will destroy the phone and land him in trouble. He believes they are specially designed to make phone repair technician's lives hell. "A deceptive minimalist coating masking a set of electronics that Picaso's evil twin would be proud of." or something like that.

As such he attacks anyone expressing an interest in owning one.

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

Yeah, I only like the iPods ability for apps. I already have a Walkman.
I look at iPods like I do bluray. I can live without it, but if you get it for me, fine. Besides, it means my father actually remembered my birthday this time

Lag resulting in a 20 minute gap between an accidental double [edit- Triple] post? That's pretty funny.

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

>_> Now you see why there needs to be an app? My iPod HATES ULMF. It actually told me it couldn't post because the connection timed out. So I kept trying to post it. Sorry.

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

My HTC Hero is the best phone ever.

it LOVES the internet.

Apple products are evil and not allowed in my house XD

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

My cell phone is a phone. No web surfing or anything like that, just direct communication with whom I need to get into contact with.

I save web surfing for my computer.

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

I don't even have a cellphone, had one for about two months, kept losing it or forgetting to take it with me, was as good as useless, gave up on the whole thing.

there not necessarily for web surfing, but if you are bored and out of the house you can do that. otherwise if you need information, whilst anywhere you can get it. then because of GPS and maps you can have much more ambitious adventures.

Same, I have calls and text. Technially I could connect, but only to download new backgrounds and ringtones.

Bah humbug! Topical map and compass are the best ways to have ambitious adventures. You people and your technology. When Snake EMPs the world, then you'll be sorry.
