Gonna be getting Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel edition next week. Will also be buying the new Homestuck albums tomorrow, and I'm thinking about ordering a couple more Tyranid Shrike's now that the one I had ordered a couple of weeks ago has arrived. If I do though I'll be low on funds for the rest of the week, which isn't too bad because I'll have about £250-£280 next week thanks to the bank holiday on Monday.

Just bought a m17 gas mask that I hope to use in the place of my standard Paintball mask its quite comfortable and I can't wait to see how it handles head shots

Apparently my dice like averting the apocalypse. Was wrapping up Chapter 3 of my Geist game and I had to take a shot with a thrown dagger to help put down an Abyssal. I'm rolling 4 dice for the skill check.

ST: Okay, Copper, dex plus athletics.
Me: *rolling* YATZEE!
Dice: 4, 8, 9, 10 (that's 3 successes, for those that don't know White Wolf's system. You also reroll any 10's you get.)
Me: *rolls die again* 10 *rolls again* 10 *rolls again* 10!
ST: Holy shit!

I rolled FOUR 10's on the same die. There might've been one more, but sort of forgot to count after, y'know, the third one. And yes, I was *rolling* it, not just dropping it back and no, it wasn't a cheater die.

So, apparently, my dice hate me when it comes to keeping my characters from getting tricked but love letting me come off as badass. Hoo-ah!

Going out to water the plants today. I was just supposed to water some of the young ones to make sure they survive the summer. But I as I was out there, I just looked at the bigger trees and bushes and thought to myself..."They must be jealous!" So I started spraying them around and imagined them laughing kinda like an Ent but cuter going "Oh ho ho! Thanks Rangey!" I sprayed them all around and then the wind pushed the mist from the hose all over me and I just started laughing. My dad probably thinks I'm nuts but it was so much fun. :eek:

I finally told someone off with "Kush" in their GT. They quit a few minutes after I sent it. I felt so happy :3

I have finally earned my two bars and infamous badge. I could not have done it without your help. Thank you all so much for your contributions.

As a side note, my confidence in my girlfriend is dwindling. She can be vicious at times, and my faith in her is a bit shaken.

Oh well.

Still, better than nothing. Controls are solid, though you may want to adjust the in-game mouse sensitivity.
Movement feels more realistic than most games I've played, i.e. each step FEELS like a step, not like you're on a rail. IMO, at least.
Could only hold two weapons at a time. Kinda made me sad, but at the same time, I think I get what they were going for with that.
-Still, I want my Shotgun AND minigun AND rocket launcher, not just two :(
Grenades are their own category, so you'll always have those. I like the manual detonation on them.
Even on medium, considering how OLD this game is, the graphics are a bit above decent. Nothing special, but better than decent.
I don't know what the consequences of losing all your ego do to you. Didn't seem to affect me adversely, other than a blinking red screen of annoyance.
Drinking Beer makes you stronger, but gives you slightly blurred vision.
