Re: geisterhand
Please people, don't start arguing

(well, maybe I just missinterpret this, but still, please don't start a fight)
I think the whole topic about sprite sex is important.
But at the same time, it's also a lot of work to make hentai sprite animations for every enemy.
So it's nothing that can be pulled off in a short time period.
And as far as things are looking, I guess the best solution would be to implement the sprite-sex after you lose all HP.
Making the player press a button to "respawn".
And after losing all continues, you get the CG scene for the last enemy that hit the player character.
(I maybe should mention, that defeating a boss, should unlock all CG scenes available in that stage, so losing is no requirement to "see" all the scenes, since winning would unlock them all at once, at least that's the idea)
And yup, the spider web does slow you down (as well as two other things, that are not appearing in the jungle stage).
But I thought that giving every enemy an option to slow the player down (I mean, if every enemy has a grab), would be too much.
Most of the time the player can avoid being stopped, by evading the spider webs, or the other two enemy types.
But giving every enemy such a move, would decrease the game speed too much.
(thus the decision to use the hentai sprite sex when HP drops to zero)
Currently progress is reaaaally slow (kinda no progress at all), since we're focusing on real life and jobs and stuff.
And yes, I also thought about redoing the controls.
Though I'm not sure if I'm able to implement custom controls into this game.
But at least chosing a more comfortable button layout or something.
(or having "controls A" and "controls B", that should work out somehow)
P.S:
I highly value any form of constructive criticism.
And I also think that doing a "perfect" game is impossible, especially because everyone has different tastes, opinions and everything, but that's fine.
One simply has to do the best to create a game that appeals to as much people as possible.
(and this isn't as easy as one might think it is)
