When I got captured, I talked to the cat nun then I went outside. There you will find the loli elf of the right side of the fence , talk to her and ask for help to escape ( the second choice ). You will be throw into tentacle forest then talk to the blond loli she will give you the letter.

Never mind, figured it out. After getting captured the first time, talk to the blue hair cat nun but don't go to bed (sleeping and escaping on your own, while it lets you get the note, does not let you give the note to the nun). Instead go outside and talk to the dark elf girl and get fed to the tentacles. Escape back to 4th city to talk to blond loli to get the note. Then go get captured again... This time, when you talk to nun, option change to give her the note.

It's in the mine north of the 2nd village, probably easier to find it if you enter from the back. In the area with the harder ghosts, keep heading east and at the end there's a set of stairs partially hidden by dirt.
I've beaten this boss, so if you want any tips I'm happy to give them.
Thanks very much. Was able to find and defeat the Old One and then Omega. I screwed up and didn't get a full party so my run was pretty much unsalvageable in terms of properly defeating the final boss, but it's a start. Well, theoretically it's salvageable if I sink enough money into life ups and attack ups, but I have neither the time nor patience for that.
The postgame room says that it's been deemed possible to properly defeat the final boss in NG0 while having all party members, having cleared the "EX dungeon" and defeated the "EX boss" and having basically completed so many events within 47 turns (the hardcap time limit being 50 turns), but I'm not sure what they're referring to by "EX dungeon" and "EX boss". Does anyone have any inkling to what they mean?

Still in NG0 myself, I'm gonna guess there's additional stuff if you've done all the side-quests for the support cast. Can't say I know much more, doing my utmost to keep her 'pure' meant I'm locked out of a lot of those things until NG+.
Speaking of late-game content, I'm missing 4 bestiary enemies on the last page, 2 on either side of the golem under the tower. Are they quest related or am I just blind when searching the maps? I feel like I might need some of their drops to finally bring Omega down.

I'll probably need to check and confirm this later, but if my memory does not fail me, the former two are the mooks in the Fairy Forest, accessed via landing right on top of the conspicuously different tree between the Orc Forest and Tentacle Jungle entrances (airship). The latter two should be the Old Beast (one airship-accessible island south of Futafuta Village, hinted at by one of its inhabitants - a scripted encounter if you walk on a certain tile of the map) and the Evil Source/Seed/Species/w/e (cave near the SW village - a 5-turn time attack).

I don't think being pure impacts the ending. Also, a lot of titles (stat boost) are from H... in fact you need to H multiple times per mob type to unlock them.
Probably easier to unlock as many titles as you can in first game, get retain title for NG+, then play your pure game?
Besides, a number of things involves mandatory H, such as recruiting the cat nun.
However, "H level" against certain monster does impact certain minor events, such as rescuing the girl from the tentacle forest (map before meeting the knight).
As for missing bestiary, I can't find this one:

Oh I'm well aware that it's unlikely to change anything. I'm just the kind of person that makes things harder than they need to be.
I stuffed it up somewhere as well, somehow she's sitting at H level 203 instead of 150 and there's a 1 on the 4th line. Yes, I made sure not to enter town naked, if I were to take a guess I'd say it was visiting the mayor's basement in the 3rd town that did it. Only time I recall seeing the screen go pink and I didn't reload in any case.I'm missing 4 other monsters in the middle of my bestiary and that's unfortunately one of them. I was interested in the later ones to help fight Omega (who's still kicking my ass, but I can knock a figure off his HP bar now). Once I beat him I'll try to fight the Maou properly a couple of times, just tested the fight and I chipped about 10% off him before he hit me for a little over my max HP so the drops from Omega might bring me up to a fighting chance pending desperation moveset changes. Speaking of...
You might not have messed it up completely yet, as long as you have the sword from the tree fairy. Using it as a consumable seems to reduce the target's defense to 0, and there's one very obvious target to use it against. I can damage him without it, but this let me do more than peanuts. I really hope you didn't use it already.
As far as beating the bosses go, stacking 100% crit is your best friend. This was my final setup back in NG0
Also, leveling up increases your buff skill's power a lot.
If you have not done so already, unlock the max tier spell books from the demon king's castle, those gives a lot of stats as well.
At the place you defeat the skeleton north of the 1st village, you can upgrade the power of your skills.
There is also an achievement for beating the demon lord without using the sword of mana... I meant hero's inheritance.
On the other hand, losing to final boss also unlock something cool, a badass looking sprite, and also an achievement.
Still working on my 4th playthru to get everybody. Screwed up on nun and had to restart...

3rd Village
There is a fairly strong skeleton boss inside. He is too strong for you now, but it is someone you want to beat as soon as possible as this would unlock upgrade for your skills.
In the mean time, there is a gold chest hidden north of the building.
Once you beaten the boss, you will find 4 mirrors in the room. All these upgrade different things:
4th City
When you are ready, visit the palace north of the city, it will tell you to pass the tower's trial before you are allow to meet the king.
Proceed to bring down the tower... last boss drops the key to the treasures in the basement.
Make a mental note that there is also an uber powerful hidden boss here (7M HP, 1 billion defense... and almost as much in offence).
Anyway, what's important is that you get to visit the palace.
This will also unlock the event with your sister (talk to butler, then door to other building will open). If it doesn't work, visit snow town and try again.
After the event, you can visit the destroyed village NW of palace. (See the destroyed village section)

3rd Village
- This is one of two villages you can go in naked. There are 2 greeters in the entrance that will welcome you depending on your state of undress...
- If this is your visit, you should just go in naked... because we are going to have some fun with the pirates
- Go to the bottom left to see a girl surrounded by pirates, lose half a dozen times or so to unlock various titles. If you are naked, you are given the option to ask to have H directly.
- When you are done, smack the pirates to get yourself a patch job on your clothes, as well as a boat (outside of town)!
- Talk to the girl again and she will ask you to smack around the pirates on an island NW of town
- You should go back to 2nd town to talk to the knight real quick, before you lose your clothes again.
- The key from the pirates unlock the wooden house in the south, right chest has a monster that holds the key to the other locked chest in the room.
- To the right of the little girl's house is the mayor's house (semi hidden path from the north side to get at the gold chest).
- Check the basement to start another H chain and a bad end.
- After you started the quest chain, the mayor's grandson (just in front of the house) will strip you if you talk to him...
- East of the inn is a house is a kid that ask you to save his sister from the bandits in the ruined fort west of town
- Doing so would net you a few stat buff items as a reward, and access to the loots in the basement of the ruins
- Or lose to the bandit boss a few times and you can have his kids. One of the kids would give you random items every time you visit (after sleeping), including stat buffs
- I don't know if there is a title for having lots of kids for him... someone can try.
- Do explore the town while both clothed and naked. Also sleep in the inn in both states have different H event.
- There is a guy hidden it the top... go right directly from the entrance. Keeping him hidden (2nd option) suppose to give you speed buff later on, but need to verify.

4th City
- As soon as you enter, check the left (outside city wall) for a gold chest, and our merchant friend to the right
- If you are naked
- go inside and talk to guard guarding the gold chest.
- talk to guard outside the barrack and select the 6th option for H and some gold, or 1st/4th option for some fun with the pink cat girl in the cell. Need to sleep to talk to him again.
- Recruitment
- Exit town and check the lake completely to start an event.
- When that is done, exit the church and visit the blond loli in the garden directly to the left.
- Go back into the church and talk to her. Follow the script and do all her underground events for some much needed gold
- Also enjoy yourself/make some money from the guys wandering in the right side of the underground area
- Buy the self destruct items from the item shop here
- Recruitment #2
- Afterwards, return to the area around the 2nd village... get yourself violated and then visit the lake.
- Check the right side of the lake for apricot loli. Go thru the events, then do it a 2nd time, but this time let the dog drag you to the top before you close the chat dialogue for another title.
- Come back to underground and do all her events
- Recruitment #3
- Doing the black loli events will unlock the bath and tier 3 magic shop north side of town
- You need to finish both their events, so you can get dialogue to relocate 3 other party members here (which ensure they will participate in final battle).
- I still could not figure out how to move the girl guarding the gold chest to the right of the guild... but there is another hidden gold chest behind the guild by the corner of the L.
When you are ready, visit the palace north of the city, it will tell you to pass the tower's trial before you are allow to meet the king.
Proceed to bring down the tower... last boss drops the key to the treasures in the basement.

- Gives you a new title that recognize you as the hero, and also unlock an additional rune slot!
- Talk to the king again for 50K gold
- The maid on the left gives you a maid uniform
- You can pick up the pummel skill from the book shelf in lower left
- Talk to the 3 researchers here... after you beat the floating island, talk to the researcher in top left to get your airship
- The soldiers on the right doesn't have anything important to say... the guy in the bottom gives you a pass to get thru the guard station. But I would suggest you don't pick it up, so you can unlock more H events. That and we need to build our H counts to 5000 to unlock NG+ points, so anything preventing H is no good.
This will also unlock the event with your sister (talk to butler, then door to other building will open). If it doesn't work, visit snow town and try again.
After the event, you can visit the destroyed village NW of palace. (See the destroyed village section)
Snow Town & Dungeon
- Lies just north of the palace... but you need to be strong enough to smack the golem before you can enter.
- Now is a good time to revisit all the caves and forests you haven't touch yet, recruit the black loli, knight, and potentially cat nun
- There is a trick chest in top middle. It resets after you sleep. 5th time gives you a weapon, then it is probably random loots.
- The old lady in the pub tells you about the hero's lost inheritance in the volcano, which is the trigger for recruiting mask girl
- The dungeon NE of town open up after smack the golem. There are 2 critical items,
- a ruby that enable the teleport shrine in the NW corner of the World Map,
- an ice crystal that freezes water (where there are a bunch of circle)
- If you are having trouble killing the boss, go grind at the destroyed village (see below)
- Located in NW corner of world map.
- Use the ruby you got from snow dungeon to activate the teleporter
- Fairly straight forward, no H scene/H mobs
- Clear the last room and go back to the palace and talk to the researcher mentioned above for your airship
- Another ultimate boss is here, hiding in plain sight. If you beat the golem guarding the volcano, he might talks to you if you bug him a few times. He is the 2nd most powerful boss, just behind the demon lord.
- Lies in the mountain in the SW part of world map. This ain't the Village of Mist, but you still need an airship to come here
- Another mega boss lies in the cave to the NW of town. This one is the easiest and serves as a good dps test (it does not attack, but you die after 5 turns). If you can beat it, you can start end game
- Enter the village from the west to get a gold chest
- There is another hidden gold chest in SE corner
- A few important things link here
- Crafting recipe
- you can find the strongest recipe in the deepest part of the tentacle jungle, south of 4th city.
- When you take it back to the smith (SE smithy in 4th city), he will tell you he is not skill enough to make use of it, so you need to find a more talented craftsman.
- The craftsman is the weapon shop owner here. You need to speak to him behind the counter. Make sure you buy everything you need, as he will close up shop afterwards
- Head back to the smithy in 4th city and choose the new dialogue. You can now craft best weapons in the game
- Secret key
- South of 1st village is a forest with a barrier
- There is a mansion in the end. Beating the boss there will give you a key to the mansion's treasure. Amongst them is a secret key.
- Show the key to the girl in the NE house to grant you access to rune merchant that sells tier 4 magic
- Rune Core (end game)
- After you smack the golem in the hidden basement of the tower of trial (next to palace), you get a rune core
- Take the rune core and give it to the tier 4 rune merchant. She will tell you the location of the 5th tier merchant (demon lord palace, use the key on the throne of the fake boss).
- Old lady and the Tree of Mana
- You should learn by now that you need to talk to everyone
- But especially important is the old lady in the wooden house on east side of village
- She will give you a hint about the fairy forest.
- After you kill the volcano last boss and acquire the sword of mana... I meant wooden stick... fly to the orc village (east of 1st village) on your airship and land on the big tree... move north. You will be kicked out without the mana sword.
- Crafting recipe
- You need to see the event with your sister to enter.
- Women are not allowed to wear clothes here
- The black hair girl in the lower left house tells you about the futa village (SE island of world map)
- talk to everyone, then go to the NW house to submit/kill/recruit your sister.
- During the fight, she will prompt you to surrender: the longer one is to not surrender.
- Surrender at least once to see a nice H scene.
- Do not attach her (heal/self-buff okay) and refuse to surrender to recruit her. She will just show up for the demon king fight.
- This is an excellent place to level or get screwed. You respawn back in the SE house and everything reset. So clean map and die to last guy, repeat. There are also 2 human H NPC to boost your human H counter.
- There is a mini-boss inside the house where your sister is. Can kill it for some gears if you are in need of upgrades.

Thanks for a lot of this stuff man, you're doing god's work.
Maou's damage output becomes more intense as the battle progresses. I had 2mil HP after buffs in the fight, and managed to shave off almost half his HP (this is with the Hero's Inheritance used), but then he Black Hole'd me for somewhere around 2.5mil. I'm missing the knight, whose schtick is clearly in defense, so I don't think I have much hope in surviving that unless I spend somewhere around 10bil G on life-ups.
If you refuse the cheat statue in the starting beach and blow it up, exiting and revisiting has a new statue show up, which you can interact with to give you a detrimental passive. I think that's the challenge mode mentioned in the criteria.
Also, where did you get the weapon Deathscythe Hell Custom? A random drop from one of the Meteorite areas?
I honestly wish I could tell you where I got it, as I only discovered it after getting the hero's inheritance, so could be from volcano... (Did not realize it turned my stick into a usable item instead of a weapon I could equip...
What level are you when you fought the maou? You could grind some levels for NG+ points.

Honestly, this plays like a fluid old fashion JRPG, and much better than some of the "commercial RPG" out there.

Right now I'm level 5k something. I could grind up to level 20k or more if I'm dedicated enough, max out everything I could, but from my experiences and my possibly-biased calculations I'd need to get to somewhere around level 50k plus several billion G spent on life/attack ups to stand a reasonable fighting chance in my NG0. Hoarding up NG+ points is reasonable, but beating the Maou properly is something I've more or less given up on this run.

I did say pending how the fight changes as he loses HP. I still managed to do damage to him before using Hero's Inheritance at ~lv 2500, I think skill power is a better investment for gold than raw stat ups. My main damage comes from the physical skill combo which is expensive but both instant and can be used every turn. On crit I'm doing ~60 mil to Omega with it after buffs, but I'm also now lv 3500. Another thing to note is the Maou's opening move disables any 'dark' elemental equipment you have, which may be impacting your fight. Be sure to check that prior to going in.
Wait, that's what the statue blowing up meant? And the 2nd statue...Guess I set myself in challenge mode from the start. Ouch. I really need to improve my Japanese.
I also don't have that weapon and I've been farming the volcano. Could it possibly be from the Fairy forest? I came across a strange blue spear in the destroyed town from a weapon chest long after I was done with the place, so it's possible weapon chests have some odd stuff you wouldn't find without luck/knowing beforehand.
Side note, try fighting the Maou with the 5 equipment slots filled with the heavy armour from the destroyed town, the one that reduces your HP and speed. And have popcorn ready.

- Afterwards, you will run into a force field instead of the loop area.
- Break it and head south to the next map. Go straight south, there is a hidden platinum cross here:
- There is camp fire teleport for this map. You can either fight or H your way to it. Do spend some time to enjoy the combat H here.
- This will give you access to the Derelict Manor and an end-game level boss that drops a nice dark rune
- The under horde in the basement have H & GOR, but not the female demon.
- Lose to boss at least once to see vampire H and unlock vampire sprite in NG room.
- Looting his treasure gives you the secret key. Read up on the 5th village for more details.
- This is just NW of Destroyed Village
- You are greeted by a doorman as soon as you enter. Lose the fight for a title, then let him have it.
- Clear everything except the last boss since the place is easy. Also keep losing until you get the tentacle princess title.
- When you have beaten the uber boss golem in the basement of the Tower of Trail (and followed the secret key quest line), return here to the tier 5 runes (see picture below)
- This area is guarded by blue tentacles with 80M HP.
- You need to kill it in a single turn. The trick is to use your buffs and instant attacks prior to your normal attacks.
- Also, remember to upgrade your skills at the island north of 1st village.
- Use spells books that gives you buffs (dark, lightning, fire)
- Fully explore the area to find a recipe book.
- When you take it back to the smith (SE smithy in 4th city), he will tell you he is not skill enough to make use of it, so you need to find a more talented craftsman.

- Go in and talk to the mask girl to learn about the mask girl to learn about the black orbs blocking the patch.
- Leave and head to the abandon village. Do make a clean save prior to touching the chest!
- Your goal is getting the pickaxe from the shrine to break the black orbs.
- Feel free to equip it, as it is a mighty good support item
- As soon as you leave, you are mob by an angry crowd, go back in to face your judgement.
- Losing will lock you out of the volcano/getting mask girl
- Beating the boss nets you a nice ring, and awesome skill book that teaches you a skill that recovers 600TP!!!
- Red hair merchant also shows up with some really good stuff after you beat the boss.
- This area is a tad hard because of environment damage
- Bring lots of healing potion, but save them for the treasure area:
- There is a really hot area in here with lots of chests... at the end is a pair of sandals that negate environmental damage
- Equip your water spell books and anything that boost your recovery stat, this makes your healing spells and items more effective
- Make a clean save, and save often
- Head south and try to reach the deepest part. You can safely explore and loot the rest of the chests and duds once you have the sandals
- You get lots of powerful gear here, time to re-work your equipment.
- Make sure you beat the boss first try to recruit the masked girl. This doggy is one of 6 achievement bosses, and by far the easiest one.
- Only come here after you clear the volcano and receive the mana sword (I mean stick)
- Must also talk to old lady in 5th village
- The lake at the end lets you change the stick into the hero's inheritance.
- Unfortunately, it is not a weapon... but a usable item that negate the demon king's shield.
- Not only is this place an excellent grinding spot, your goal here is to grind for the sword saint rune
(drop from the guardian here (humanoid looking mob) - It is a very rare drop... but it gives you 4 powerful instant sword attack skills that helps your uber boss hunt tremendously
