Work is still currently in crisis mode.

Anyway, Day 6 is finished (yay) and the first mandatory conversation on day 7.

A peek at the file shows that Nebula still has a bunch of dialouge, but I think I got about half of it.

No H again, just doing the end of day 6 kicked my ass.

Hopefully things will calm down and I can start putting out more.
 
Yay, an update.

Now you can play from the very beginning to the very end. The debug lab (unlocked through the Memoirs room with the silver key) is translated as well.

The first post has also been updated with a more useful progress indicator rather than just percentages.

What's next? Finishing up the H scenes and any missed combat rape lines along with the glossary.

Then begins the fun journey of proofreading/editing where I get to start from the beginning and abuse the F5 key to check everything and ensure it's correct and is written well; just thinking about how mechanical the introduction's dialouge is makes me cringe.

I also need to a take a look at several names, such as the final boss. And Rabbit; her name is litterally Usagi Tsuki (Moon Rabbit), but google translate drops her name as Hakuzki, which I don't know might be some alternate character reading or not.

Blah. Anyway that's it for today.
 
can't wait the hypnotist man get translated, his trilogy scene is the best h-scene in the game lol
 
So I really wanted to post that I was able to catch up on my backlog, but that didn't happen.

I was able to do Nicolas' 2nd H scene and did a bunch of editing. I also changed Dr. Ikaruga to (seemingly) more correct Dr. Ikaru.

Sorry, I just wasn't able to focus this weekend. :/

What I'm considering doing is changing my plan around and starting a new game to do editing/proofreading/find untranslated stuff along with one or two H scenes a day. I'll probably do two or three glossary entries a day as well.

My main problem with the H scenes is that they're so long; on average they're about 80 entries ranging from a few words, to noises, to up to four lines of description. Combine that with not wanting to leave a job half-done, and, well.

Hopefully work should've calmed down this week and I can get back to it.
 
The second mTunes scene is done.

I also did the epilogue room attached to the memoirs room (leftmost door, requires silver key).

One thing I'd like feedback on is that when I did Nicolas' second scene, I wrote in 3rd person instead of 1st person. Do you prefer 3rd person or 1st?

Also, I'm probably going to change Hakuzuki's name to Usagi Tsuki. I honestly don't know why I translated her name to English, but left everyone else's in Japanese.

Both binding harness H scenes are done.

I did some digging, but it looks like the glossary is done mainly by a plugin (I suspect the "enemy book"), but I wasn't able to find any entires in the .js file to point to the menu name. I'll keep looking, but I wouldn't hold my breath to find the solution for translating it.
 
I just didn't have it in me to do an H scene today.

Instead I started on my proofreading/editing run.

It was almost painful to read back through the introduction/day 1 stuff, but the intro, the first H scene, and the conversations up to the first cave have been edited.

Hakuzuki has been renamed to Tsuki Usagi as well.
 
I'm going to start by saying my gratitudes. Thanks a lot for deciding to take the load of translating this excellent game.

Also, a good chunk of the characters' introductions feature furigana in brackets to show how their names should be read; 兎月's name is read as とげつ (Togetsu) for example (though she prefers simply being called Usa-chan anyway). Just saying.

Although, once I read that I remembered that's why it's for. I'm not sure why I just ignored it though. Must be my relative lack of ability showing.

Anyway, I didn't post yesterday because of work.

I started to translate today and now I'm running into an issue. The translation is showing in Translator++ and I'm replacing the /www/data files with the new files, but the changes I'm making don't seem to be taking effect. This, of course, means I'm sort of stuck until I get it fixed.

I already tried a new translation project and imported the old project translations in. I also delete the entire /data directory and replaced it with a copy of the original install. Once I verified it was reading them correctly, I even placed the updated files in the directory and viewed them with Notepad++ to verify that the correct changes are in the files (which they are).

Right now, I've got zero ideas why the changes I'm making aren't taking effect. :/

Edit: Now it's working again. I'm not sure what I did, but the work will continue.

Sort of. I didn't know why the game wasn't correctly parsing what I could see in the .json files.

Anyway, this isn't as big of an update as I wanted, but the following was done:

-Story proofread/edited up to early in the cave in Day 1.
-Glossary overhaul for the enemies. I'm still working on editing it to prevent the enemy icons from hiding the weaknesses. Also fixed the Tin Queen entry so it actually appears (it was missing a line).
-Usagi Tsuki/Rabbit renamed to Togetsu and I checked the rest of the characters. They all seem to be correct.
-All the notes in the lab on the fourth day have been edited to fit on one screen.
-I finally just decided to use alien for well, the aliens instead of a fancier term. I've also renamed all the "Aquarius Eyes" to the correct "Eye of Aquarius" terminology.
-The first lecture is translated! It's for the pyrite entry.

Still no H scenes translated; they should trickle out as I get to them through the proofreading runthrough. The rest of the glossary entries I'll tackle as I come across them as well (key words/geology). I'm considering biting the bullet and doing all of Marco's and Togetsu's exposition now as well.
 
Well, it's been a few days.

Work has calmed down and I'm re-focused now. I went through the first day and proofread everything along with translating Marco's and Togetsu's conversations.

I'm actually kind of happy with how well I did on my first pass, although some things were way off.

I also translated all the geology lectures I found in the first day, so if you find anything untranslated in the first day or in the first cave, please let me know.

I'm enjoying this more since I turned off the music and started listening to my own. I think I was going to go insane if I heard another loop of any of the tracks...
 
Almost to the boss in Day 2 now.

Got a bunch more lectures done. In addition I did all the dialogue for Marco, Togestsu (she's hilarious), and all the people in the lab for Day 2.

It almost feels like porn for geologists right now.

I'll start back up on H scenes once I get to day 5 or when I find them before then.
 
Man I really appreciate your work here. Keep up the good work but take some breaks. Don't get burnt out. Thanks a lot.

That hit me like a 10 on the Mohs scale.

Day 2 is done. Day 3 is partially done. I only got about 2.1 lectures done; for some reason Translator++ ate the work I had done on the base conversations and I had to redo those.

If you find any anything untranslated before the marsh on day 3, please let me know.

Ah, Ai is delightfully mean. Togetsu is also still hilarious.

As a Geologist myself, I can confirm that there are some pretty gneiss puns out there. Those who think puns are utter schist tend to fold and move elsewhere very quickly.
