RPG RPG Maker [DEVIL'S OFFICE] SHRIFT (RJ209839)


Would anyone be willing to send Me a file that has finished/after the Harpy Boss? That would mean a lot!
 
Camazotz? She's not that hard, but she does force you into one strategy. Do you want help?

That would be nice. c: I do have the gun with six shots that does heavy damage, but I sometimes rarely get all six shots off, and when I do It does not kill Her and then I lose before I can reload It. I Am pretty sure I Am missing something but I have tried soooooo many times I just want out of that large Harpy like Boss and move along with the story. >.<'

Well fighting her normally is quite difficult.
Best strategy to fight her is to take off your clothes so she goes into a set pattern of action. Once she sees you naked she'll fly into the sky. While she's in the air you want to get into evasive stance. After her grab misses then attack her. You can't hit her on the turn right before she flies up so use that turn to self buff. Hellbreak is the most useful ability. Good luck.

No I'm 100% sure it works. Camazotz is only difficult if you fight her while staying dressed, cause she'll keep pelting you with magic. It's been a while but I think you'll also need cool calm because she can inflict you with annoying status ailments. If you're limit breaked and you use the upgraded shotgun. The one with 6 shots. You can defeat her in 3 hits.
I also said take an evasive stance, NOT use sylph storm. Those are 2 different things.
And yeah, b4 taking off your shirt try to get your buffs up like HellBreak, and CoolCalm.

Use the fully upgraded custom pistol against Camazotz, i think its called Rebellion. I used thunder rounds on it, make sure to take an evasive position when she flies up in the air and don't let her get in your face. In fact, you should probably never let a woman like that looks like that near your face.
 
How do I fix this error? This is a fresh patch from a new game and I've been running into this error ever since I used the new translating patch.

Are you using Windows 7 or 10? If you're sure you did the patching instructions correctly, it could be related to you perhaps not having Japanese language packs installed.
 
Sorry for asking or disturbing anyone, but does anyone know where I might find a walkthrough of this game? Searching doesn't seem to show any results.

tecnologias14 made a decent walkthrough for the game. It's skimping on a lot of details though.

Just like the previous fight with Iron Maiden, this one is a bit RNG. I suggest you change difficulty to easy, I have no shame in admitting that I played precisely in that difficulty as it allowed me to enjoy both the combat and the story without testing my patience.

The walkthrough and this post should be enough to get through the game on easy. The rest can be done with trial and error, but Sphinx has the weirdest difficulty outside of the final boss.

Anegorami also created and posted video walkthroughs for three of the more difficult bosses if you can't get past them (Archeny, Daji, Daji Part 2).

Its interesting what you are saying, my readme file says i have 5.25 but my actual game file says it is translated to 5.21, regardless, my game doesn't have any problems.

Make sure you slapped this on: * Requires RPG TKool VX Ace RTP:

I got it working by downloading the older translation (the 2.1 one) thanks for your help though :D

for all people who have the DLC, how did you get it?
I know you gotta subscribe to Devil's Cien site somewhere, but
a) I have no idea where the buttons are
b) how did you transfer the money? did you use credit card? paypal? DLsite points?

All the patches should be forward compatible, so you should be okay using it on all patches after the one stated. I haven't bothered really changing the base version of the patch because all of the latest updates have just been adding links to the fanworks list and nothing else.

You probably extracted the game files in a non JP app locale, which caused the extraction process to butcher the BGM names. The program is looking for the old files, but can't find them, causing it to crash....

1. buy the game off of the site it's pretty cheap for all of that delicious content if you haven't
2. go to your profile on the actual dlsite after logging in
3. select updates and you should see Shrift up there somewhere if you bought multiple games (The only thing up there if you are like me)
4. wait for your game to download
5. get cheesed by the beetle harpy for the next hour or so

Just in case you don't know how to access the dlc you need to marry Mother Rabbit then a crystal will start shining (Top Left)

This is incorrect. Beetle Harpy is just a game update. The DLC can only be obtained from the ci-en page which if you're not from Japan is really hard to traverse and might not even accept your money.

To play DLC fights you need to put the DLC files in your Shrift directory then go to the roast chicken and enter the code.
