Does this work with higher game version than 1.16? I tried it and find the opening dialogues still in Japanese, haven't tested more since I don't even know how to even open the menu or what to do actually...

No, It's only work with 1.16 version.
 
Update patches are freely available on the dev blog since release, you can just take a previous version and patch the game yourself up to 1.16...

Plains, Hills, and 檻 MOD Additional Elements
 
I stopped at some point last year partly because I couldn't keep up with the mods.
If you use my old files with more recent mods, don't overwrite the mods files (rename mine for reference), and refer to my poor attempt at a "need-to-edit-this"log. Unfortunately this would be still hard w/o being familiar with the game's code.
In any case, I focused on the UI things, so don't expect any story/dialogue - SFrame is the much better man for that. My external dictionaries should be solid enough, provided the required changes are made to some mod files.

However, it has come to my attention Uzanot (the main brain behind Plains & Hills) has officially stepped out since... February?
I now have a bugged version. I'd need to check a clean 1.2 + July Plain&Hills, and adapt what I have. Or I'll use January P&H if I can't manage.
Well, I can't say when I'll be able to do that. I'll post here when I have a working Plains & Hills patch (with my glaring mistakes corrected, hopefully).

Do you mean that both your and the 1.16 patch doesn't support story dialogues and stuffs? Because I just downloaded ver1.16, patched, and it still gave me Japanese texts.
 
I'm not sure what you mean. It goes like this:

Obviously the left-hand items are 100% Japanese. The right-hand ones are partially English.
 
Oh, my issue is that even though I've applied the patch (1.16 patch), story dialogues from the beginning of the game still showed up in Japanese and I was wondering if it's supposed to do that.

Yes, I got the game from dlsite recently and just downgraded it with the 1.16 patch. There is a glitch, for me at least, where I can't use the teleporters as it crashes the game.
 
Okay. I've lost my RPGMXP key in the dephts of time, so I'm pretty sure I won't do much more than this. Maps, events & stuff can't be done without it.

This is an interface translation intended for Succubus Rhapsodia + latest Plains&Hills mod (updated 30/05/2020)
This will not work (probably) with ANY other version of SR. Also 95% incompatible with SFrame's efforts, sadly.
This has 0% translation of any map (read above). Deal with it.

Includes: girls (including uniques), items, most skills and abilities. Menus should be 98% English.

MUST READ:
a) Make a backup of your clean Succubus Rhapsodia v1.20

b) Apply the mod this work is for: 平原と丘と檻MOD_200530_メインデータ
Note: this is scrpm_2236.atc + scrpm_2235.atc + scrpm_2234.atc. You apply them in order: 1, 2, 3 in case it's not clear.
There's a SR wiki with more info than you will need, linked in the dev's blog and many times in this thread.

scrpm_2227.atc and scrpm_2226.atc are the extra, optional images for plains/hills support (O.O)/(o.o)
If you don't know about .atc files, you need AttachéCase from Hibara.org and SR's icon. GIYF, be smart.

c) Move all files from mySRfolder/Mod/Mod_Data to mySRfolder/Data, overwritting all files.
THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL. Furthermore this will shorten your loading times considerably.

d) Extract my files to mySRfolder.
Normally only 2 files will be overwritten: O_MOD_RPG_Ability_素質・設定用.rb and and O_MOD_RPG_Skilltext.rb
(the only difference is "UK_setup(ability_id)" after "def setup(ability_id)" )
(O_MOD_RPG_Skilltext.rb is barely touched, just the basic things. Thing's an huge Lovecratian nightmare)

e) Run the game. A box should pop up, explaining what's been done.

f) Restart the game and profit.
Note: try to avoid the following characters: H, w, m, q and y
when naming a succubus. It'll show in battle (only visually), and the code simply cannot be fixed (w/o modifying each single existing message among, like, 10k?).

The mod I've chosen is stable and has:
- long, interesting, challenging new areas (completed, not much WIP anymore)
- legions of new enemies
- tons of new moves (double paizuris, anal stuff, reversible holds...)
- many new features (female MC, challenges, body training...)
- customize your waifus (abilities for cosplay, breast size, etc.)
- much more

Some points of importance:
- you might want to check the settings menu first thing first (there's multiple tabs - page up/down)
- you unlock Laurent's bonus skills in Silver City magic shoppe
- most of the mod will start after True End (requires beating normal End, then breaking the seal to 2nd ending)
- game will become unbeatable if you mess with the options too much, so be careful experimenting too early
- at some point, left counter at Port's inn will invite you to a repeatable random orgy for Exp/beads grinding


I'm missing quite a few new skills, and many descriptions (cuz lazyness, oversight and/or name being enough). I might do them, but not in a foreseeable future.
I'm clearly not satisfied with both quality and quantity, but this should ease one's SR experience, as mod gameplay can get quite sophisticated.
I'll sneakily update this if I bother hunting for the few things I know are missing and want to fix.

Feel free to report any bug related to my stuff; I've had no-one test this at all, including myself for the most part. I hate typos tho - but try to collect 5+ to report before posting.

Appreciate the effort. I may take a look at this later as I'm mostly caught up with the MOD updates besides Overmind.

2 bugs here
The first is when play with Female MC starting the game, using the mirror to exchange, there is window message about a method when are you doing scissor with the first succubus

I'm not saying this for show... I'm basically rewriting everything (& no more) that needs to be; don't even bother with any earlier version.

I've tried implementing the skill shop, cotton's patch & that insert integration patch (respectively 200613_スキル屋パッチ, 木綿パッチ, and 200722統合パッチ), looks quite compatible to me. Still don't ry anything past P&H+skill shop unless you have sufficient code know-how.
That 'UK_setup(ability_id)' line right after 'def setup(ability_id)' in O_MOD_RPG_Ability_素質・設定用.rb is really mandatory.
Imma take some time (a week+) to double check and I'll expand what(s above; notably abilities. (a part I couldn't salvage)

She's one tough cookie. The new personality for your Imaginary friend is quite puzzling. Still easier than the Whore of Babylon who wipes the floor with my team :cry:

What I really like about this MOD is mainly the translations for equipment and items since Texthookers have a lot of trouble with those. There are still a couple things I'm discovering about the MOD like talking with the creature at the home pub where he teleports you to a new older location I didn't about. There probably are some additional areas I'm not aware of when looking at my Port hub map, at least the first two.

I mentioned earlier about Overmind, but it looks like in the previous update, the path to her was removed which drove me crazy as I thought I was missing some kind of flag. I recently downloaded 200722統合パッチ to try out and thankfully it was brought back.
