What's new

RPG RPG Maker [CircleKame] 撃電妖異譚─EP1─ (RJ215675)

Lmao, okay, now he's fixing a bunch of bugs and listing them on his ci-en.

Unfortunately, most of them apply only to Ep3.

BUT.. because he's using the exact same engine and mostly the same triggers for all version, he needs to update all of his games in this series!
He also has a hot-patch for EP3 --> v2.3 on his website, due to buggering up the fix for ep3 on the v2.2 update - cause he rushed it...

I'll just wait longer to even bother with ep 3, the game is like a 2gb dl from dlsite everytime

Cause the author includes all the assets and scripts from all the previous games. :ROFLMAO:

Nah; (I think) he means the new games literally contain most of the old games assets. CGs, sound files, sprites, scripts, etc. He carries them over whether they are needed or not apparently.

Yep.

He even sometimes forgets to carry over certain assets, or disable certain events. Hence, the random bugs for "asset not found" and what not, else.

*FACEDESK*

There must be easier ways to make events and saves that carry over from other RPGMaker MV games, no? Someone more experienced with RPGMaker MV tell me?

Is the new version of EP1 worth playing through again duck666? Still on the fence about trying it because its a pretty fat download.

Forget it; re-d'ling it. dlslite downloads are slow :/

There's no new content since the v2.0 MV version. Just some minor bug fixes.

Depends on you really. The author added more scenes, but removed almost all Combat Rape scenes other than the orgasm one. In addition, he introduced a limit max of 11, before your character faints. The 11 limit is reached at 1000 libido.
I would have preferred fast Combat animations, and Combat Rape, though. It's too slow, IMO. But with RPGMaker MV, you can switch to another window. As long as the MV window is not minimized, it will continue to finish its animations/processing in the back.

The interesting part is that the latest version released on the 31st for EP1 at least is actually surprisingly stable.

I'll reclear it (Abusing the bugged events allowing you to access EP2+ events caused a save problem for EP2 so I'm making a non abused fresh file) but we ACTUALLY might be close to seeing a version of the game that will only implode if you're not running 3 year old gaming PC or newer. (This is due to the quite literally hundred+ concurrently running javascript modules used in layers. Some of the scripts, like the combat ones will cause crashes if they don't execute in time, because I think they're interdependently feeding data up, and if one of the layers executes before it gets data, well, yeah.)

Also, been using https://ulmf.org/threads/tool-rpg-maker-mv-mz-vxace-vx-xp-wolf-rpg-cheat-auto-translate-tool.14436/ and it works well enough, if you're willing to pay the 3USD/month to translate the 6mb text it fishes out (and if you want to catch ALL of the stuff in machine translation, you'll need to pony up 15USD/month) to send to google translate.

Just be warned that it'll add additional processing due to how it works (it's an additional layer, meaning the game will chug a bit more.

If we could insert a custom translation, (and you'd note that you'd need something STUPIDLY beefy to run the game at reasonable speeds at times) instead of a google machine translation, we might be on the only sane way of making a non machine translation for this game...

I love the tool but it's hard for me to recommend it with this game, the script heavy nature of this game causes it to lag so much during battles it becomes painful to play, more so when you have a party of 4 and are fighting 5+ mobs.

To clarify, does the bug abuse break only if you access EP2 events?
I.e. if I only use it to few the other EP1 events/endings, does that break my save? (I feel like it shouldn't, but you'd never know with CircleKame).

EDIT: it appears that if you view an ending, it prevents certain scenes pre-ending to be locked. E.g. I viewed the Ending 1, and NTR2 is not unlocking even after 5+ scenes with Hayato (Yellow-haired senior guy from school).

EDIT2: I'm an idiot, I need to activate 1 more swim team event by talking with the swim-team girls at bottom right of school after 5x with Hayato. Then next day, the NTR2 event will happen in front of the swimming team change rooms.

Saw ep3 (i think) just released recently, and these games picked my interest, and i noticed too that the filesize is fucking huge. Is it just because it includes the rtp, or does it have voice and/or animation?

AHHH SHIT... so this means I cannot get that scene anymore...

T-T

Also, I cannot seem to trigger the Futa event. My guess is that my MC is "too far gone" for it. She always gets captured.

I had the MC at very high lewdness so what I did was 1) took only the MC and second girl to the bright temple, 2) equipped the second girl with the "M ring" and made her orgasm, then I lost on purpose. Then they escaped without getting captured. It worked for me at least.

Am I dumb or is it impossible to switch out your party members in this version?

Aaaaand nevermind. Its not on the main menu anymore, its on the recover circles in the dungeons.

Third option at the green circles. You cannot switch them on the go, from your "X" menu.

EDIT:

Might anyone know where to get these items?

<戦国大宝具>宗三左文字:0個
<戦国大宝具>伊予札黒糸威胴丸具足:0個
<戦国大宝具>圧切長谷部:0個
<戦国大宝具>種子島火縄銃:0個

It's for the A-Rank final quest. All the other <戦国大宝具> items are from either the warlords or the final vampire. These 4, I cannot seem to find who drops them...

EDIT2:
I think I know what they SHOULD be:
1609611136358.png 1609611154565.png

But I have not idea where they are. I assume they should be in the dungeon at the back, behind the doors of the "elemental" dungeons area. However, there are only 4 zones back there, corresponding to fire, water, earth, wind. These two dudes are light and dark. I think CircleKame forgot to add these 2 areas.

Apologies for the absence, been sick.

If you used the bug that was in previous versions with the swimming pool to access events in Ep2+, what happens is after you port the save file to episode 2, then use the point at the apartment to summon all the stuff from previous episodes, it'll cause a few things to happen.

One of them is the fact it'll flag any events you 'saw' out of order as seen, and also jam a few things, like the counter for the number of kills for each type for your hunter ranking.

So if you say saw Michael's fight, you won't be able to do them again, and you need at least hunter rank B to see some of Emi's events.

So yeah, due to that, I'm recreating the file, although I'm running the patched version (31st Dec 2020) which seems to have finally fixed a lot of the bugs.

Edit: If you're not in a dungeon, I believe hitting G or H brings up a submenu, and the second option there allows you to change party at will there.

That one is one of the bosses that appear in the field after you get sent to a location to fight a boss. What happens is 4 various bosses wander around at night (one's in downtown, one's on the street outside your apartment, one's in the park and damned if I remember where the last one is) and you have a showdown. They should drop the card.

I know they're supposed to have their own dungeon where they wander around, but that might only be accessible in episode 2 or might be a VX only thing.

Edit 2: Did a check - the "run away from a mimic and the scripts crash" bug is STILL in play, but it can be played around. "Nearly there" I suppose.

Yep. I assumed as such. Although it seems that I properly did not trigger any of those, luckily.

OMG Thanks for the information about G and H:
G --> submenu which allows you to change your party, change character displayed with H-key (below), change clothing, change dash speed, and more.
H --> display your character model on the right side, while you're not in combat

Those 4 guys are "lower-class" bosses. I know which you are talking about. Those guys are just "regular mobs" inside the dungeon here:

1609643156617.png

Which you can properly enter after beating the vampire final boss.
There are 4 separate rooms in the map in the back. Depending on which of the 4 zones you kill the "minotaur", and go through the portal, you fight one of the the guys circled in red below:
1609643438063.png
The guys in blue are the ones that show up from an event and appear in event location on main map, in front of your apartment, in the downtown place at night, and park at night.
The guys circled in blue are "regular" mobs in the dungeon I circled above, if you go in, and go to the left.

I am looking for where the 2 guys immediately after the guys I circled in red. They should be the same strata of enemies, and they are in the VX Ace version of the game. (Which is where I got the decrypted screenshots from.)
Like I said, I think the author forgot that there are 6 different enemies in that strata, while there are only 4 in the previous strata.

EDIT: The reason I ask is because I do not want to move onto Ep2 before fully "completing" Ep1, for the achievement sakes.
I don't want to have to replay EP1 and kill 10k enemies to finish the A-Class quests, so that I can get the S-class title.
(Unless I can do some editing with RPGMaker MV to cheat through that title...)

you have to redo the rank titles for every new mc, so even if you get it for one, you need to do the same fucking quests all over again to get it for the next person, it sucks.

:(

WTF. I thought the whole point of keeping the same overloaded game blobs was so that we DIDN'T need to go through this shit...
I suppose it makes a difference since S-rank gives more SL for quest completion. But really? Can't he put in something that speeds that up after you get it in 1 character...?

Also, not all characters can gain the same H titles. Some are character-stories unique.

"Sort of"

If you do a cross episode summon, it'll actually do some weird things like being able to unlock any previous accessed rank - This may be the source of it bugging out though, since you've already 'done' the subquest for promotion. Not entirely sure, but basically the counters to promote freeze for the current char. It might be related to the out of order event skipping.

That being said, you DO get paid out at your highest rank, as it checks for the title. Dunno if they stack, but since the previous MC carried it, you can get paid the highest rank % premium (+10% from C from my understanding)

For EP2, you don't want to do this until you rank up Emi because you actually need rank B to get some of the H scenes, and you can't do that if you're permastuck rank C.

Speaking of silly bugs, you can massively multiply the amount of FS you earn after a sex event by applying one of the FS booster titles to every character that qualifies (eg, have sex 500 times), even though only some of them actually HAVE the title in their list. Combined with the 'Bring everyone' call button which stacks everyone in your party, and for some reason it'll count everyone as an instance of the title, resulting in... well, let's just say you'll be swimming in F.S (among other things) after a short amount of time, resulting in being able to buy stupid amounts of stat boosters.
