Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

There's another reason for that, too, I think, but I'm not telling...

Ohyeah...and Nosferatu can generally recognize one another, too. Y'know...just cause.
Because they are the deformed freak balls of the vampire world?

Actually, it's because they're a Hive Mind, but their PR guys have a different spin...

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Double posting for info.

No, I am not ignoring things on purpose. I can only run with what I've got and if Shrike isn't here for me to poke, then I get stumped and have to leave you guys hanging *laughs* Also, I'm an inspirational-type writer, so I respond when things hit me which is not necessarily the same order I read things in and sometimes I'm replying in the brief span that I have before I need to go to work so please don't be upset if I get to someone else before you. Thanks!

We now return you to your regularly scheduled mayhem.

As for the layout of Red Deer Copper, I assume its big enough to hold pretty much whatever we need, and I know for a fact that pretty much all of the central street is strip malls down both sides, so finding a single section of one of those empty is a real possibility ;)

And remodeling tends to mean covered and blocked windows, too, so even if they're in a mall with a large window, they're not readily visible.

Also, given that things are winding down, going to ask Tsuki here, given that she's something of a special case for us neonates (and because of her spotty internet capabilities right now), if she would like to come in a little later or if she wants to be lumped in with the rest of us? Sort of like a choose your own adventure *grins*

Eh, if he grabs her by the arms it's some kind of suplex variation I've never heard of. If he would have locked his arms around her waist and then bent backwards to throw her it would've been called a German Suplex.

Well, to be fair, the person is relatively new and a name ending in -er is generally masculine.

*laughs and blushes*

Ooops, sorry if I got that wrong - but I just had the name to go by, so I hope I will be forgiven. :D Still - the compliment stays, just adjust the sex accordingly.

No harm, no foul. I tend to write more from a male perspective anyway, so sometimes that comes out in the narrative voice. Grash just obviously hasn't found my tits thread yet, so it likely hasn't ingrained into the brain yet.

I think we all jumped on that one.

Skimming down, was more looking for the "backdrop driver" style of the maneuver, I think. I wasn't sure if "suplex" was right and I was fighting off sleep as it was, hence the note. Essentially, Brick's bending over backward while he flings Clara instead of slamming her to the mat (as in a traditional backdrop.)

((No idea if cops keep spare tires in the trunk or just around the midsection, if not feel free to get creative :) ))
Aren't modern police cruisers equipped with "drive-on-flat" tires?

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

1) I have no idea.
2) Canadian police are on a much smaller budget that American, and Red Deer doesn't have much in the way of a police force anyways.
3) ...
4) Profit!

1) Neither do I, hence the question.
2) Doesn't Red Deer use the RCMP, not a local police force? So their budget draws from the federal government? (Though I think their expenditures are tied to the value of the contract anyways).
3) ...
4) Oooh, kewl, thanks! *fills up his bank account*

My first thought on this was "Racoon City police?" Shows you where my brain goes. (And yes, I understand what the acronym really does mean.)

Yep, it's RCMP, but like evrything to do with the Canadian government, that means it's underfunded.

And it's 'Raccoon City Mobile Police', thank you very much, that's why they aren't in Raccoon City :p
