Mm. I can one up on that, Amy Winehouse taking a back seat to the fact that some professional athlete of ours won the tour de france, something we're never done.

Some dumb-ass junkie who got herself killed by being a dumb-ass junkie. Only reason people care is because once upon a time she apparently used to be a decent singer or something like that. Had she not been a singer, she would havn't even been noticed along with the thousands of other dumb-ass junkies who get themselves killed because they pump too much dope into their eye sockets cause the rest of their bodies are too scarred from needle punctures to shoot up properly.

I think folks know my stance on this, but because its celebrity she's getting more attention than the true tragedy that's occurred.

Which is part of the reason that all the people going "Amy Winehouse DIED?!? OMG I HAD NO IDEA HOW THIS COULD HAPPEN!" all the more facepalm worthy.
