But he's only ever got 1-2 ACTUAL goofs per episode it seems. Some are logical fallacies on the side of the writers. But the majority is just clearly intended to be jokes based on his OWN logical fallacies.

Went to winter fae ball last night, all of the delicious costumes. Elves and demons and fae and such deliciousness.

[This didn't really make me giddy, but not sure where else to post it. :p ]

Lately we've been having some troubles with mischievous raccoons in the yard, so my family hired somebody to trap them and put them in the forest somewhere else. It's been like a week, but for the first time, we found one of them in the trap today.

Unfortunately for the little guy, he had to wait to get picked up and taken away. In the mean time it rained... really hard too. I was looking at him outside the window, and he was all curled up inside the trap trying to cover his head, like "omg noooooooo." I just felt SO AWFUL, and I wanted to do something to help. I couldn't think of anything else to do, so I went outside and tried to put an umbrella over the cage, so he wouldn't get so wet.

I don't think he liked it though! He like freaked out, climbing all over inside the cage and trying to bop the umbrella with his paws. *bop bop bop whap whap whap, etc* After a few minutes, I took the umbrella away because I was afraid I just made him even more unhappy! I was just trying to help. x.x Then when I went back inside, I looked out the window, and he looked right up at me like, "What are you doing Rangey??" And I just said "awwwww.... :( "

Measuring in at 114cm it is exactly 1cm under the maximum allowed length for a one handed weapon (thus allowing for margin of error in measurement so I don't get told its not legal) and is a pretty pretty thing. It's very hard to swing one handed, so likely to be mostly thrusting with it if I've got a shield on at the time and it has deceptively long reach with how I hold it. But yeah, because I can swap to a two handed grip and do better swinging it, I dub it the bastard axe.

Class was cancelled today, which normally wouldn't have made me that giddy, but it represents something larger. Up until recently I had had a pretty substantial commute to campus, so that if one of these no warning cancellations happened I would pretty much lose an hour and a half out of my day for absolutely no benefit, and having to use up a lot of gas. Now I've actually moved into town, which rent is expensive and everything, but overall it cancels out using so much gas, and on a day like today I only "lose" 10 minutes instead, and can even just turn it into an impromptu taco run. In short, no commute rocks :)

Oh, and because of the 4th, that means I only have a 2 day week this week, heh.

(And potentially met a cute new neighbor moving in, but whatever)

Found my way back here, after a long absence. Completely forgot about this place until I went back home for a few days and found this link under my old favorites on my home computer. Clicked it up and it was like finding a mountain of awesome on what would have been a really crappy week otherwise.

Now to read all the posts I missed... yeah, this is going to take a while. :)

HOLY DAMN BOUNCING SNICKERS I FOUND MY BLOWGUN.

After 10 years of exile in the basement, I have found my wooden, made-from-scratch blowgun, with six darts too! The only thing I need now is poison to coat the darts with :p

And Incubus, that is some heavy looking axe you've got there, doesn't seem very suitable for one handing it. I have always prefered bows and swords, they are smoother to swing (not the bows though).

Finding out that I can hide the gawdawful fugly f'ing hat that my rogue wears in the MMO I'm in. Was clicking around and found the "do not display" option or whatever it is. So glad for that.
