Emily blushes slightly and responds shyly.
"Yes, but I don't actually have anything."
"How do you mean?"
"Well, you see..."
Emily briefly and embarrassingly explained her situation to Kari, leaving out various details such as the embarrassing encounters she's had with the molasses monster and Madame Liccorice, and how she ended up in this world by a genie granting her a wish.
"Yeah, those Pixie Fairies can be pretty mischievous... And they took your clothes and you drifted down river into the Molasses Marsh?!"
Emily nervously nods.
"Wow, I'm amazed that you made it out of there without incident. They say there's a beast in there that does unspeakable things to pretty girls that pass through the marsh..."
Emily blushes from both the compliment she recieved from Kari, and the shame she felt from lying to her.
"I... I guess I'm just lucky..."
Kari blushes and scoots closer next to Emily and touches Emily's hand. Emily's heart felt as though it skipped a beat.
"I...I'm glad I'm travelling with such an adventurous girl like you~."
Emily blushes, hiding her shame from lying to Kari, and bashfully holding Kari's hand.
"M-me too..."
"I'll tell you what. We can share clothing and other necessities until we can get you some of your own, okay~?":
A. Yes
B. No.
C. Other.

Emily smiles and nods happily.
"Great~. Then we can head out right now~."
Kari excitedly and energetically hopped up and led Emily to the door carrying her bags with her. Mama notices them as they leave, and walks up to them holding a small packages.
"Before you go girls, take these homemade cookies with you for the long journey you have ahead of you."
They each take a package. Emily turns to mama and smiles.
"Thank you for letting me stay for a bit."
"It was my pleasure~. You two have fun~."
The two girls went on their way towards the signpost Emily was at earlier. Kari looks up at it.
"Where do you suppose we should go first?":
A. Go in the direction of the faded unreadable sign.
B. Nougat Beach.
C. The Town of Mint.
D. Back to the Molasses Marsh.
