Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

April looked at the rogue and nodded. "Yes it was beyond our powers but she managed." Her eyes narrowed "You where her dress well it seems both of you where the same size."

Rikke gave a nod and then took a deep breath "Alright... Pelicia is trapped on the island as one of the possessor spirits." she'd look to the girls "Her target has been me, several times now." the girl elaborated quickly, before proceeding to her plan.

"I'll return to the outside world and this time I'll let her take limited control once again. If she's fought this darkness before, she'll know what needs to be done..." Rikke quickly raised a finger "However, every time the possession occured it seemed her memories have been basic or blank. It's a gamble, but perhaps we can stir her spirit awake with your girls help."

The girls would look at Rikke a moment and frown. "If shes a spirit she would have made her way here by now. Something else must have happened." April looked off in the distance a moment. "Felica, Amanda, come to the kitchen please." A few moments later two more beauties appeared. One was ebon skinned and regal looking her hair done back in stylish bun. Out of all the girls she seemed the most appropriately dressed in a find full dress of blue. She had glasses over her dark almost black eyes. The other was a shorter but buxom easily a match for Rikke in the department of physic. She had two toned hair of black and white which matched her cat ears and tail. Her eyes where a soft amber color and they immediately latched on to Rikke causing a lewd smile to cross her face revealing her slightly pointed teeth. "Girls we have a problem. Thanks to our friend here we just found out that our mistress is trapped someplace in the spirit realm. Now normally we would never be able to find her sense the realm is infinite but it seems our mistress has called out to Rikke. We need to gather the power of the coven so Rikke can transverse the spirit realm. That is if you agree Rikke.

Rikke blinked cutely with a sheepish smile, before looking one way... then another, moments later beaming a innocent smile "Umm.... You might have to repeat that. I'm not good on mage-speech." the girl blushed lightly at the embarassing situation, though admitedly most of what was discussed sort of flew over her head "Not sure if thats related to my plan..." the rogue had in mind perhaps letters, items or the like she could take back to the outside and put on... not whatever the mages were planning!

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

The tall ebon woman adjusted her glasses with one hand and spoke. "In essence we are going to infuse you with arcane power. It should protect you from the worse effects of the spirit realm." The short cat girl spoke up next. "Yep yep, protect you it will form death and being torn to shreds by evil spirits! Those mean spirits just love to eat the living entrials of people foolish enough to wander the spirit plane unprotected! They crunch and much an......" *Cough* The cat girl looked to April and frowned. "Sorry April...." The tall amazonian woman smiled. "Its okay Felcia we know you just get excited at times." Looking back to Rikke. The power of our coven will make sure you go unmolested by but the most powerful beings. Also it should act like a beacon to the mistress. She will sense our power and try to draw you close. If your ready we can get started. Our power should be enough I don't think we will need the others."

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

Rikked placed a finger on her lips in thought "Oh~ You're offering me to find her in this realm?" as the rogue had mentioned, finding the ghost was hardly ever an issue... since it seemed insistent on taking the girls body "And to do that I need a barrier." the plan seemed sound. If this was indeed a sanctuary, it was no wonder the rogue was safe... not to mention it turned out that the girls knew of the evil spirits all around them.

In other words, the rogue would have to find Pelicia among the lost spirits outside and get her aid that way! Still... if she had not returned yet... well it was best to take this one step at a time.

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

The assembled woman awaited Rikke's consent and if it was given each of them would approached Rikke and kiss her on the lips. Each kiss sent a shiver of ecstasy down her back as well as filled her body with a humming vibrating energy. Little did Rikke see that her eyes began to glow a vibrant and luminous blue white drowning out her normal color. All over her body felt good charged and ready to go and that was only four of them sharing their energy. What if the three dancers offered to bless Rikke too.....

Still working out what she would the girls lead Rikke to the back past some heated pools that where down the corridor that she had passed. Outside the house proper in the back garden Rikke could see the shimmering sphere of protection that created this sanctuary. "Okay Rikke out their is the spirit realm. It can look like our realm but has many hidden dangers, evil spirits being the least of them. Just be careful okay.

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

It was best not to over-expose herself to the spiritual or magical energies that surrounded her. The four girls blessings should be enough, not to mention the rogues cheek could only blush so much afterall! "Alright! I think I'm ready." she'd give them a nod.

This... pocket realm or spirit realm seemed to absolutely mirror the outside world, perhaps it was indeed the real world she was seeing except the girl was in a different phase of it? Rikke couldn't even begin to guess, though magic or mystery behind the realm did not matter. She had a mission and a limited time-span to do it!... but she was missing one final ingredient for her trip - a course or direction!

"So~ Where do I find her?" the rogue looked bakc to the mages curiously "She used to find me in this manor, I've not encountered her possessions beyond there."

If the rogue was going to find the lost girl, she'd need a clue to start off with! Once given an objective Rikke would smile and turn to the strangely hued world all around "Wish me luck." as she'd head onwards.

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

April spoke up "Once you step out there she should detect you right away. So she will find you." Having to take their word for it Rikke stepped out. As she passed threw the barrier she felt a cool breeze seemingly was over her. Opening her eyes Rikke saw that she was outside the spirit bubble and surrounded by the most vivid and vibrant jungle she had ever seen. Her eyes drunk in every sight her ears every sound. Every detail and nuance assaulted her. A bright speck of light moved quickly up to her. "Hey focus.. I need you to focus girl. Don't let it overwhelm you. You don't have time to delay!" Blinking at the bright light that seemed to be a very curvaceous woman allowed Rikke to focus and notice that she herself had changed. Around her colors swirled in a circle in different orbits forming a every shifting energy sphere. She her self seemed to be made of bright light and felt her body full of energy.. her own energy almost like before..... "Hey listen quick you don't have alot of time. The spirit realm moves slower than outside if you wait to long your friends on the ship will leave you.

"Hold on... give me a moment." Rikke answered in friendly manner as even if the sights were absolutely supreme, she still was quite conscious about her situation. The girl paused as she looked around in sheer wonder, indeed the sight were incredibly! But more so it took awhile to get used to just how strange her current appearance was...

Still Rikke would soon enough refocus and look to the talkative light "You're... Pelicia? I need to find her." afterall if anyone knew more about the curse, it was her!

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

"Yes! I'm her projection. Quick you got to free me so I can finish this!" Grabbing onto Rikke's hand the woman of light tried to pull her along. As their skin made contact Rikke felt a surge of emotion and brief flood of images of the girls life flashed threw her eyes.

Crying and alone the girl was reviled for her strange powers, having to beg or steal to eat. Older but still a beggar she is offered some money to help a drunk sailor find release. She is disgusted with herself but has enough coin to for an actual room for a night at least. A few years older she still sells herself but now its on her terms in her own place. This freedom lets her explore her powers. Few years longer still she finds an orphaned girl crying in an alleyway. Sensing a kindred soul she takes her in. "Whats your name dear?"..... A-a-April.."

Like that the images fades and the spirit girl pulls on her hand lightly.

Rikkes eyes widened as brief flickers of the past rushed through the girls mind, it was the girls past! The flashes of the past seemed to linger for only a moment, but as the rogue snapped out of it, she couldn't help, but gently smile. For Pelicia the inn and the girls was much more than just a means to survive, it was her home and her family.

"Alright! Lead the way!" Rikke picked up the speed as she'd speed along the light instead of being dragged by it! The rogue wished she could sit and talk to Pelicia, perhaps learn more about her and this whole island, yet it was quite clear their time was limited!

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

Willing to move the girls began to pass threw the jungle at an incredible speed. foliage and scenery blurred into a kaleidoscope of color. The trippy journey ended almost as soon as it begun as Rikke found herself in a piece of the spirit realm that seemed to be dying. Shadows lurked everywhere and the once vivid plants looked like ash or sickly. The place was unfamiliar a deep pit with sharp angels of some sort maybe a quarry. Looking at though it seemed to be nothing but a vat of darkness. Next to her the spirit woman quivered. "I can go no further. I already weaken being this close. Deep inside is one of my... one of my girls who has fallen. She is host to the darkness...."

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

Rikke approached the gaping abyss, leaning forward to look it over... well that was one horribly foreboding pit "Geez... I'm guessing this thing is related to the curse eh?" the rogue asked as the spirit explained the potential source and more importantly - how to reach her "Mhm..."

"WAIT! You want me to jump down THAt thing?" Rikke blinked and looked to the spirit in sheer disbelief one of her hands pointing to the most unwelcome ride down.

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

"Jump that would be silly you would only hurt yourself." The woman pointed to a series of cuts that looked like rough stairs. "And yes all the darkness that effects the island come from here." Looking at Rikke the girl smiled. "It should be easy the girls have blessed you with their power. Just take a moment to familiarize yourself with it and see how it can help you and it seems you have your own inner power though you seem oblivious of it." Rikke looked at the swirling lights that orbited around her. One was black, one was a deep red, another was purple, and the last was orange.

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

"Oh..." Rikke giggled cutely as she'd rub the back of her neck... she may have actually done that. Albeit if only out of neccesity "Alright, wish me luck." the rogue gave the spirit a nod and approached the stairs as she'd carefully descend down into the dark unknown... Perhaps it was her spiritual form that kept the girl at relative ease, even if the idea otherwise seemed nightmarish!

Still as she went down, it wasn't difficult to note the strange orbiters she had. Were these the blessing the magic girls gave her? Each one bearing a unique color specific to the girl. Thinking back the rogue received 4 kisses from the girls, meaning one for each blessing... yet Pelicia mentioned something else entirely Rikke didn't quite understand. Sure the girl used to have the Shard of Venus in her, but she gave that blessing up a long long time ago.

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

As Rikke crept down the stairs her own aura seemed to banish the darkness around her only to swallow up behind her but unable to permeate her aura. Still as the strange things flew around, her eyes were drawn to a scene of mounting horror before her. Along the walls figures writhed in shadows screaming out like lost souls almost reaching out too Rikke seeing help. As she passed one the shadow ichor burned away to reveal a young man calling out. "HeLp.. usSSs!" Still as she backed away from the frighting sight he shadows swolloed the man whole again.

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

As the absolute darkness loomed around her, the girls brilliant form seemed to not only keep it at bay, but the girls own dread as well. Still out of all the situation the girl had been to before, this one was certainly one of the more unnerving "How long does this go on for..." she'd grumbled to herself only for a most gruesome sight to unveil itself, as the shadows seemed to reveal all those trapped here... in most horrid manner!

"Eeee~...!" if the rogue still appeared normal, she'd had turned absolutely pale at the scene, even her expression turned from nervous to 'I absolutely regret this horrid decision'... yet there was no real way back. She had to continue, even if the route was absolutely nightmarish!

Pausing to steady her breath the girl closed her eyes and made her way onwards, trying to see as little of the horrors around her as she could!

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

Rikke did what she could but the writhing figures where everywhere some cried some called for help. Young, old, men, woman, peasant or soldier. It seemed that the entirety of the population had been banished here. Still Rikke steadied herself and descended deeper able for the most part to abolish the shadows. Finally after what seemed an eternity Rikke reached the bottom her aura a beacon of light in a nightmarish hole.

No one writhed down here in the dark which was the only comfort Rikke had as she moved forward. As she stepped forth a figure emerged just out of her light. It was a woman pale as the moon with dark black hair spilling down her front. Her inclined head hidden by the black mass. She was naked but didn't seemed to mind though given what Rikke saw she doubt much bothered this girl. Numerous writhing black tendrils danced behind her.

"You've come to join us in the shadows..... how nice of you.... I have your spot already picked out..."

Re: Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger

'Ignoring... ignoring! Ignoring!' Rikke called out in her mind as she'd focus only on the path forward through half-closed eyes... the girl enjoyed sleeping, so it was best not to ruin chances of that ever happening again! Still as she'd scurried onwards soon enough... she was free from the damned, though not alone.

"Join you?... Have you seen the entryway to this place!" Rikke answered, but soon enough shunned the joking response away "So you're the traitor..." the girl quickly brandished her blade and sharpened her eyes "I'm not here to join you, I'm here to free you.. and everyone you've trapped throughout the years!"

Rikke sublty gulped at the shadowy tendrils, no doubt it was best she avoided the corners of the small arena that seemed to wiggle. While it was unclear if they could try to catch her, the girl best not find out!
