I mean, I've played through a huge chunk of the game already, so unless I missed something, like everything was completely remade, we already know how the final game is going to be like. It's a decent game, but that's about it. Much higher tier in production values when compared to other porn games, and it has a decent range of kinks, though a imo a lot of the monster-based ones are letdowns. Mechanically, the game is really fun but also really easy.
This will definitely be a fantastic game but nowhere near the best game ever. Possibly not near the best pron game ever for a lot of folks too, but that's always going to be subjective due to kinks and preferred presentations of those kinks.

If you limit things to ACT games, then I'd agree it significantly boosts its placement since these days the lion's share of porn games are RPG (maker) games or randamo stuff like visual novel-esque games. Or both, lol. Again, I do recongize this is really good quality for the genre, and I'm pretty sure it'll be reflected in its sales, and I hope the guy gets his due payday.
But I mean, AriaParia 2 has a pretty interesting story and background lore and some cool character tidbits, and the pron isn't bad at all, especially if you're into monster girls and reverse rape. Same exact thing for Forest of the Blue Skin and Succubus Affection, which while short are also really high quality games. Just some random examples there. I think it's just a bit hyperbolic to call this the best game ever, it has its flaws, though I fully admit it's a great game and better than many of its peers. I'm planning on buying it day one whenever it finally releases.
The story is nonexistent and combat/gameplay isn't really unique either, it's just well done, though I'll give 'em credit for the variety of weapons and spells. That's definitely not commonplace. Your comparison to dark souls makes zero sense, though. It's like you saying Dark Souls X is the best game ever created, which ironically as you say is -only technically right from your personal perspective-, whereas I said that in the broader scope of games, there are many, many, MANY contenders for that title and that someone who prefers puzzle games or JRPGs inheriently would be biased against Dark Souls X. Someone could also just as easily say Overwatch 2 or Witcher 3, Skyrim, or Breath of the Wild and many would say you're wrong and they're right.
Reducing it down to Dark Souls X being the best soulsborne makes far more sense and would be a far more understandable statement, as pretty much they're being compared with each other. Night of Revenge is a great game, but the best pron game ever? I doubt many outside its fanbase would agree. I defintiely don't. And in PRON GAMES specifically, sexual content is a huge part of how we judge these games, and that influences our view of them, which was half my point.
Vanillia content is mostly boring to me, though I did enjoy Night of Revenge quite a bit. There's a long list of games I think are better overall due to the mixture of story with the presentation and porn, even for vanillia content (a lot of professional visual novels and games like Monster Girl Quest), and many I personally enjoyed better due to my kinks, which leans towards monsters and monsters girls, so games like Shrift were far more enjoyable to me than Night of Revenge has been so, same with Three Charms, etc.

Most of these have fun gameplay or good visuals, but rarely both.
If we're talking "on par," most of these aren't close. You bring up "recency bias" but forget things like how Unholy Sanctuary needed a patch to make it so basic enemies didn't take double-digit hits to kill, or how Future Fragments' gameplay feels like a Megaman game running at half speed with the weakest shooting ever, or how Kurovadis has so many big empty rooms with nothing going on, or how Juuyoku no Jousai has worse gameplay than most Zelda clones and also forgot to have porn. Heck, Parasite in City is remembered for the novelty of its time, which directly goes against your claims of recency bias. It feels like you yourself haven't played many of these games in a while. Anthophobia is just PiC but the enemies take more hits, and it has a few more levels.
I'd put half of the Libraheart games up there, but even some of those like the original Castle Succubus still aren't as good. It'd really just be Six Spells and Midnight Castle. Even Sword lacks in gameplay, and the porn to make up for it is scarce.
AQE is about on par, but that's about it.
NoR isn't great, and I wish it got more polished, but even compared to newer and older games it still stands out for having fast gameplay with a good impact, nice visuals, and good porn.

...Okay? It's dev cycle wasn't the point I was making, it was the finished product. You won the argument I wasn't making.
Your first mistake was comparing it to Megaman. Megaman has a much different design structure that what Future Fragments is going for. Plus that's a really high bar to climb and, apparently, they've taken balancing into account when they eventually release the finished product according to their progress updates.
That's not entirely true. It only feels empty because you have no map to go off of, meaning you're wandering blind.

I wouldn't personally. Any of LibraHeart's games' gameplay is pretty good and its actual porn content is okay, but the balance of the two and implementation of porn into gameplay is horrendous.

Go replay it. Almost every single room after the first few hallways are massive empty rooms with floating platforms, and falling usually has like three enemies down there. That's all the game was.
Because your argument relies on having the game in-memory, but it's clear you forgot many of these games.
PiC's sole strength was it spritework, not its gameplay. Anthophobia dives deep into extending the gameplay, but just makes it more of a slog in exchange for worse porn. Hell, they had to commission a japanese artist to redraw the CGs for 1.50 because of how terrible the old stuff was.
The balance and implementation of porn to gameplay for Libraheart is superior to most of the games on your list. And they always have decent gameplay, at worst.
Ok alps is a "game". Yes you may loose, but realy even my dog im pretty sure may finish this game.
Alien quest yes very good graphics, but very simple metroid game.
Anthophobia realy good one, i think it may rival for first place.
Devil legion is ok but overall but in fetishes its pretty straight sex even tho with monster girls.
Ayura Crisis is just holding button 1 for stunlock and sometimes pressing button 2 if something escaped stunlock.
Deep in brixen has like 6 animations in total and 5 of them is just tentacles without any aditional kinks.
Demon Sperm-meh game, meh graphics.
Eroico and Kurovadis totaly not on par from graphics, night is clearly superior.

Project X-oh its bloody dead. Again. Yeah many great stuff, but honestly not gona be greatest game due to some fetishes, clanky fighting sistem and old graphics.
Succubus Affection-its just FOBS.
Super Monster Girls-its ok but honestly nothing legendary or top notch.
Unholy Production-yeah its great, but art level is realy not that good.
Acid Style-i think it looses only because animations are not that good from animated perspective. They just dont feel as impactful as Antohobia or Revenge.
Overall I still think Night Of Revenge will be king(or queen) of eroge Act games, on par with Anthophobia, and closely behind with Explorer of Golden Planet.

Calling the game the "best" may hold water, but it's still subjective. Some may like the game a lot, but might put other games above it just because of their tastes that aren't satisfied by this game. Night of Revenge is shaping up to be a really good game that a good chunk of people will agree with, but not everyone might agree it'll be the best.
Also, there's still quite a lot left for us to discover for this game. Gotta wait for the full story, and how some characters play their part (main character included). Don't even remember if there was a story for their last game, Bullet Requiem. I'm not 100% sure, but I want to say that NoR is getting English support? Anyone feel free to confirm or debunk that.

Alien Quest Eve's and NoR's gameplay are literally the same in terms of simplistic, you can't say uuhhhh AQE is simplistic and NoR is deep and complex, XD lmao, AQE is stunlock enemies to death, you have a few specials, bosses are hard, good. NoR is like, slash slash, dodge or parry, slash slash, manage your DS Stamina gauge, good. Both are a little clunky.
Unholy's art is better, but, wait a fucking minute, didn't you say we were not going to be touching fetishes?
Anyway, NoR is pretty good, objectively speaking, even i that think most of the sex positions are a little too over the top for my tastes can acknowledge that, but ye it's not like, the best ACCORDING to EVERYONE, uninamously. Case closed.

It really isn't. Almost everything I touched was objective, like level design, gameplay simplicity, stated influences for the games' creation, etc.
If you think that Parasite in City and Anthophobia have "strong" gameplay when it's just "run right, hold up gun, shoot, reload", or think that Libraheart games somehow implement porn worse than games like Demon's Sperm, there isn't anything to say except that you're incorrect.

I forgot to say, there are some things you said that i could agree with.
These are some of them.
I mean those are a no brainer, Anthophobia and Parasite ni City.
But Kurovadis having big rooms with nothing going on? Unholy Sanctuary having damage sponge bosses? oh wow, it's not like in NoR the bosses are lame ass sponges too with simplistic patterns, and the same goes for some big rooms and areas with just the base enemies here and there randomly, wow so varied, the areas are beautiful, they're not the same assets over and over again or something.
Brilliant level design, 10/10.
And the gameplay with those clunky, few frames and movement, OOOF GOLDEN. Very smooth.
But yeah, all the other h games' gameplay sucks ass, amirite?
NoR is pretty good, but, you can't shit on something in a given game and praise it in another, that's where you are not being objective, and that is a fact.

And about Kurovadis, i did what you said and i see lots of traps, lots of platforming, and varied at that. About the enemies, yes, very few of them in the rooms, but how would you feel if i said it's quality over quantity
I could admit i'm wrong on some things, for example, Kurovadis' H is absolutely lackluster compared to NoR, however its gameplay is absolutely superior
And there are some things where just neither of us are wrong, like which one is the best h game ever, it's just to each their own
