Darkness...

It was all I felt...

An odd sensation in truth, just a whirling void of consciousness, barely aware of my own existence, let alone my surroundings. The faint echoes of voices whispered, yet somehow I knew, souls crying out in regret. What did it all mean? I don't remember...

"Mmm... it seems like it's time to create my newest servant..." came a female voice, haughty and proud. Lounging on a great obsidian throne, many times too big for her, a demoness laid back, her legs over one of the arms, stroking a finger softly over a dark orb, filled with blackish clouds of a seemingly ink-like substance pulsating with a faint purple light from it's heart.

"Now then... was it a male demon, or a female that I needed...?" she pondered aloud, her voice dripping with sardonic amusement, as she glanced around her throne room, filled with almost mindless sycophants adoring her. She took a moment to stretch in her set, arms out behind her head, arching her back so that her breasts stuck out in the purple gown of noble design she wore "Well... anyone...?" she asked, slight impatience creeping into her voice.

"Mm... yes... a female demon will suit my needs..." the demonic princess declared to the room, tapping her slightly clawed fingers against her chin thoughtfully. Ever so delicately, she pressed one of her claws into the pulsating orb, and slowly drew it out, a trail of inky blackness following her hand as she began to weave it in the air.

Closing her eyes as she stood and strode forth from her throne, giving her room to work, she performed a slow and graceful dance, her long gown sweeping across the floor as the black, ink like substance began to form an outline. For several minutes the dance continued, and the form she weaved became more solid; a pair of long, smooth legs, a tight behind with a long thin tail snaking out above it, a thin body, slightly curved, leading up into a pair of small yet shapely breasts, and from the shoulders, both long slender arms and thin yet graceful wings of a bat-like membrane.

All in all, the girl's figure was small and slight, yet she was far from endowed for her size without being unnaturally so. Her skin a pale white that could perhaps ironically be described as pure, contrasting strongly against this was the bright red of the demonic wings and tail she sported, which matched the slightly beyond the shoulder length hair that flowed straight. Her face, as to be expected, was pristine and flawless, so much so that it almost had an unnatural look about it, and her eyes a deep green. Giving the vessel the finishing touches, the demoness stood back to admire her handiwork, and satisfied, brought her pal up to her lips and blew gently, little purple lights blowing forth from her hand and absorbing into the newly crafted body.

Almost at once, the figure let out a sigh, and her legs gave out under her weight, causing her to crumple to a heap. "Ah, I always forget that part..." the elder demoness says with a wistful sigh. "A momentary weakness, my dear, it will pass. Arise, my newest creation, and take up your true name, Iniel, so shall you be bound to serve me, your mistress and demon lord..."

Glancing down at the orb in her hand, the demon gives a thoughtful Hmm. "It seems I had higher quality souls here than I realised..." she muses. "There is quite a lot left over. I think perhaps I shall make you a brother... a little sibling rivalry is healthy afterall..." she says with a dark chuckle. "But first you need a speciality..."

"Should I grant you the power of the material, giving you strength greatest in the physical world? A body many times more strong, fast and resilient than it appears to mortals could be useful..."

"Or... perhaps... the power of the ethereal? Strongest in the realm of dreams, but your intelligence and quick wits would be a boom elsewhere as well..."

"Hrm... although the greatest of all demons is those with the power of spirit. They are the ones with greater magic potential, the strongest will, and the best ability to perceive other celestial creatures... it is a tough decision... I will have to consider it fully..."

Decision Time!

Specialisation:

b) Ethereal - Smarter, and quick witted, as well as harder to defeat in the dream world. They are masters of subtlety and skilled with toying with the mind, as well as able to enter and navigate the dream world most easily.

c) Spiritual - Powerful magic and greater willpower, an important thing for a demon as it helps them control other celestials and resist control of others. Also has a greater ability to perceive angels and demons and their influence where ever it is found.
