If you did not get the quest, you likely need to finish the other main quests before you can start this. I just tested with a new game, and there seems to be gating by quest completion of other story quests.

I probably need a guide then. I can't remove the tree with Angela so I guess I am missing something to start it?

Satoshi, can you take a screen print of your wolf and crow quest progress?
Also, quest notes have a few entries about revising this quest, so it may work for you now.

Did anyone get the 衰亡 quest to work for them?
Edit: Ah, I missed talking to the NPC in the merchant's house.

Don't even think I have the quest since I can't read the text. I'm playing untranslated with no hook.
 
I also am not using a hook. Do you have one that reads 烏と狼
 
Ok, get Angela in your party. Return to the starting town, and go to the East side where the ferry is.
Check the house in the bottom, click on everything from the top left to the top right, then check the bed and Angela would say something. Check your quest log to see if it updates the objective.

Finished the quest. But I can't advance with valkyrie. Which quest is that?
 
It's call the Degradation of the Valkyrie (that's what it shows in the Eng subtitle of the quest name).

Did you unlock the Conqueror yet?
Perhaps you can show me a list of your primary quest (the first group).

You have the quest, it is the third pink feather one on your list.
Can you take a screenie of that quest progress?
 
Just bumped into a nice bug/"hidden feature": if you equip the Valkyrie costume and check the mirror in your inn...
 
@satoshi: Try changing into your swimsuit, you should be able to go inside the cave now.

Anyway, I am still stuck on the next main quest after the valkyrie... the bridge just breaks when I try to cross. I can not get access to the switch on the other side.
Anyone got access to the ninja costume yet?

I did find one of the flute for the dragon caller. The dragon appeared in the shrine south of Valkyrie's town (after completion of the Valkyrie main quest).

Did you edit your save file? Angela is still in front of the counter, so that part of the quest is still not completed...
It is the last item in your list of important item, try removing it and see if Angela will craft it for you. If so, you can probably proceed.

Where/how did you get the 3rd last quest from the 2nd group of quest?

Also, to get the idol costume, just go to the west side of the starting town, and talk with the man in the black suit.

I edited the gold and the exp. And I guess I got some items thinking they were for healing.
