That line did seem a bit overconfident. I can notice a major change in how the dynamics work though. So I'm guessing that this won't play out much like normal mmo games. Some of the game footage shows game play that kinda looks like those beat-em up types: I.E. God of War. Although it's not that much of button mashing.

I know with Guild Wars 1 there wasnt any monthly fee, so I doubt there will be one with GW2.

I played the first Guild Wars and kinda liked it. The lack of the monthly fee thing was really great for me, because I don't have shit loads of time to spend on just one game.

They already have mentioned it. And the first didn't have it either.

Hell, even Lord of the Rings online is now completely free to play.

I felt like exaggerating a little. We all know that those players who spent thousands of hours on that game won't give up, simply for that reason. Gotta suck up the gut and choke down that pride. xD

Biggest mistake I made in GW, was splitting up all of my time between like 8 characters. I now know that I should concentrate on just one, maybe two at the most.

I keep re-making my character for some odd reason. I think it may be because I'd like to try out a support character, but I can never find a group to play with that I like, or at least can tolerate. I've beaten Prophecies solo, and I'd rather like to beat Nightfall with a group, but like I said, all the groups I find I can't really tolerate. There was a time when there were good PvE-centered guilds. Lately, though, I seem to keep running into douchebag after douchebag after douchebag. With the occasional super idiot.

It feels like most players are too focused on trying to get that top notch armor and weapon set, plus those x-amount of ectos and such. I mean, they just seem really selfish now and days. Finding a good group is hard and I'm with ya on the soloing stuff.

haha, listening to the video again was funny because I was thinking to myself I didn't hear anything about ongoing fees, and considering the fact I was looking for it this time, it was funny how he said it rushed right before the other guy cut in. IT WAS AS IF HE KNEW!

So yeah, my bad on that. Perhaps I will now check it out, and hopefully it wont be a gateway rpg leading me into sucking dick on street corners for some gold

Yeah, I was reading about that a couple of months ago, its what got me interested in GW2. There's a huge article in this months PC Zone over here though I havent read it yet.

. I've read a couple of things already that sound fucking amazing. For example: weapons that change looks when at night time.
