I hate torrents that aren't what you expect. I also hate stuck torrents. Trying to download the soundtrack to Hannibal Rising and could only find two torrents, and of course the one that finishes first turns out to be an audiobook.

Fucking sweet.

The other one is stuck at 43.8%. My VenusBlood CHIMERA torrent is still stuck at 8.2%. Sigh.

I'm trying to torrent empire total war to play lan with my brother(He bought it, but we find the thing is tied to steam so no installing on a different steam account/mine, so I'm going to have to download to play with him), now, I spend 3 days waiting for it to slowly finish, then near the end,
90%, speed drops to 10kb/s.
95%, 1kb/s.
99%, 0.5kb/s
99.9%, stopped, no connections.

Another day of waiting, and now I got the full thing, but, surprise, it's chopped into 300+ tiny pieces of 20mb, so now I have to use winrar or 7zip to put them back together, which takes 9-12 hours of work for the first .iso, and 5-6 hours for the second.

I am not sure if I even want to play it now, seeing as all my brother does when playing it is whining about the bugs. And when I check it, there are indeed a lot of things that just don't work, including some of the most important stuff- commanding units.

If I keep going with this, it might be better to go to the ranting thread, so I'll stop here.

*chuckles* I remember one time I downloaded this huge ass file, I think it was a game so it was like over 6 gigs. Turned out to be a spanish porno. Woot!

Empire Total War is all buggy? That saddens me as I've enjoyed the entire series (Shogun, Medieval, Rome, and Medieval II), and am currently having lots of fun with Rome. I have not really noticed anything wrong with those titles, and am really looking forward to get a decent computer to play Empire on.

I wonder if they'll come out with a WWI age one or some such... I hope Canada is a playable faction, like Scotland was in Medieval II (I ruled the British Isles, Denmark, France, part of Germany... and Acre, Constantinople, and Jerusalem)

Sure, they're good, but JEBUS do some of them have long timers on things.

I know what you mean, every time a new one appears I at least look at it. Though there's only a few I stick around for.

I also hate addiction period, no matter what kind it is. It's the toughest thing in the world to deal with.

Talking about Trivian?

If so, I doubt they're any worse than Evony's. I'm upgrading my troop speed to level 10. It's going to take about 210 hours or something like that. I'm not sure how much it was at the beginning, it's at 170 right now and I started it a while ago.

I hate thinking that I've finally proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I know exactly how to do something in a game or program I'm writing, and then BAM it slaps me in the face by not working the very next attempt. Aaaaaaand it's back to the drawing board. -_-

I hate that there is NO game anywhere that actually penalizes players for attacking people below a certain level range (besides the ones where it'd be kind of hard NOT to).
I just get tired of having a k/d of 1/5, simply because someone can go 'Hey, he's 10 levels below me, FREE KILL!' =.=

I think Legend of Mir did. Well, I know for a fact that it turned the characters a different colour after so many PK's so people knew what that player did and that the player was fair game to kill.

Didn't keep the person from still doing it, though.

I mean, like, instead of gaining XP, you lose it, or you get a negative effect placed on you that lowers your XP/currency gain, MP/HP regen, attack/defense, speed, etc.; SOMETHING that makes it not worth padding your kill count with people that don't stand a chance no matter how bad you suck.


EDIT:
I hate how BORING WCIII custom maps have become... if it's not DotA, or at least a DotA clone, nobody plays it.....

Good god I HATE the smell of my roommate's cooking right now. It seriously smells like bad B/O and I can smell it all the way upstairs. I don't know what the fuck he's cooking (it's either the chinese one or the indian one, the other guy only eats microwave food) but FUCK it smells awful.

And no it's not me, the first thing I did when I started smelling it was reapply deodorant.
