So I wanted to replay Fallout 1 cause I got a burst of nostalgia. Problem is I deleted the files (yesterday in fact) when cleaning my comp out. Now I can't find my damn CD for it *facepalm*
(Though I did find not one, not two, but THREE racing games I didn't know I had)

Actually, if you have a copy of the game, it's completely legal to torrent a copy of the same version of the game.

some of the newer EULAs forbid having a backup copy of the game or so I'm told. your probably fine if you own a copy specificaly of fallout 1, but you can't just take it as free license to download anything legaly if you own a copy because one day it might come back to bite you in the ass.
If in doubt read the EULA, and hey, you might even find a nice suprise like that company that had part of their EULA that if you post to their address they'll send you a grand or so, just because they thought it would be fun and no one reads those things. entrants where in less than tripple didgits.

I'm 99.9999999 percent sure Fallout 1 is nothing to be worried about.
I never download anything big or modern, save steam. For one, my connection here is so crappy a new game takes about 48 hours of nonstop downloading with no one using the internet and good weather (exageration, but not the way you'd think)

I never said anything of my own activies, just that I lost the CD
I haven't downloaded it anyway, because I may have lent it to one of my sister's friends, still have to check them (though that's as good as gone, really )

I certainly don't hate my mom but I do hate when she tries to hook me up with people. Though it did make for an interesting belated Mother's Day meal. Still no, you'll get grandchildren eventually, go do it to my brother for once instead of me. Agghhh.

I really hate it when people just buy into bullshit like that though
Not sure if its the same in the USA, but in Holland at least a EULA isn't a binding contract by any stretch of the imagination, the worst that can happen is they trick you into signing an agreement that will deny you use of their product/service (that is the only action they are allowed to take based on a EULA, barring you from use of their product)
Not to mention you can't sign civil rights away, you can't be bound by contract to be killed for example, so even if you sign a contract allowing someone to kill you, they won't be able to actually legally do so, as both constitution and civil rights override a contract like that
Lastly, the term kind of gives it away, but a EULA isn't a contract, its an agreement which can be canceled at any time (doing so will also free the other party of fulfilling their end of the agreement, nothing more) but maybe its different in America, there is some seriously fucked up shit going on over there -_-

Of course, it's logical my parents put the pressure on me as I bet there's only a 50/50 chance my sister will have kids. Probably more like 25% now that I think about it.

South Park really shouldn't be taken seriously. Like at all. Sure they have some kernels of intelligent truth hidden in their zanniness, but I don't think a post about South Park should spark a mini-rant of sorts.
It was funny as hell. Especially with Steve Jobs. Sly could hardly watch it though, a little too gross. And she's seen Human Centipede too.
I just use the gay card when talk of grandkids comes out. Gets me out of the conversation right quick to avoid any ackwardness.
Though if you jokingly told her you were gay to get out of your situation, you might suddenly find pictures of cute boys in your mail box from yer mum saying "Isn't he a dear, I think you two would make a great couple,".

So... yet another game pushed back the fucking day I go into stores to get it!
This time it's The First Templar. Not something I'm overly excited for, but something I've been rather intrigued by. But now... I mean Warriors: Legends of Troy, Operation Flashpoint: Red River, and now fucking this? I mean the game's finished, its already released elsewhere? What is with this trend of slapping me across the face with every fucking game I go into stores to buy recently.
Fucking damnit that's a piss off. At least this time the push back is only until the 17th of May, but still. I should be getting L.A. Noire that day. But knowing my fucking luck I'll be picking that game up on May 17th 2013.
