Re: Hate Thread

EDIT: I hate that my classmates are fucking children and hid my keys in a drawr in the classroom, making me think I lost them.

So... for about 5 seconds, I was like WTF?!?!

But then I realized "fucking" was an adjective (I guess) and not a verb in this case...

Anyways, that sucks. Sometimes I wonder how people like that graduated high school. :\

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! OHMYGOD. Holy shit, that's hilarious. You just made my morning with that. Hopefully the rest of my day will be as awesome as that mis-interpretation.

If there's a community college in your area it may not be a bad start. I know that down here if you complete your two year degree at a community school you're guaranteed entry to a state college as a junior. It's likely they have a similar program near you.

Re: Hate Thread

After doing pretty good all this semester, and for a few months before that, my legs decide today they want to go back to the old way when they would hurt just on the walk from my car to class. I can't even point to the cold weather as aggravating them or anything, because it's a bit warmer now and they weren't causing me problems during our snow storms. I guess some days they just don't want to work right x.x

There were a few circumstances today that did make the problem more troublesome too, but only in that today was a very bad day to have to hobble around rather than causing the problem in the first place.

Re: Hate Thread

Re: Hate Thread

Stupid fricking modem internet grumblegrumble. Only sticks around for about 3 hours a day, in the middle of the night. So....getting a new modem. Go go warranty coverage. Hope this helps the issue.

Re: Hate Thread

I hate that my break is so short. I don't want to go back home tomorrow D:

Re: Hate Thread

I'm not really sure the "hate" thread is the best place for this, but it does really have me down. You know that feeling when a good friend passes away? It never really got me that much. Today, however, someone I knew well, but would call more of a rival than a friend died. The kind of person that produces healthy competition that leads to mutual great accomplishments and a sense of mutual respect. I really don't know what to say, but this death has affected me way more than any event in recent memory.

It wasn't entirely unexpected. He had SEVERE epilepsy, and a habit of not taking his medication because it impaired his ability to think fully. The cause of death isn't determined yet, but it's not going to be a big surprise if it's somehow related to that. Still very sad, he hadn't even really reached his potential in college yet, let alone whatever else the rest of life held.

Re: Hate Thread

Friend or rival, he was still someone who had a big impact on your life Oamp. And even when it isn't unexpected, it's still difficult. Grieve as you deem necessary and, well, you already know you've got here to sort out your thoughts on the matter.

Re: Hate Thread

Ben tried to make me go sit outside with him and read. The light was in my eyes, it was cold, and the chair is not as comfy as my bed. Not to mention the wind, ugh. If the glare wasn't in my eyes the wind was blowing my pages around.

...

oh my god. I hate the outdoors. I'm a true internet dweller now... I don't... wat?

Re: Hate Thread

I work security in an office building. During the graveyard shift. Inside is dark, outside is dark. :\
