He survived in Navy Seals though.. but got really screwed in Terminator 2 as he only shows up in the extended cut (part of a dream sequence)

I thought he died in that too, I remember him getting shot in the gut, and then his body floating in the water. I'd have to see it again, but that was something I always found weird, that the protagonist risks his life to save him and succeeds for him to seemingly die just a little after. Like I said, I think I have to watch it again.
But yeah, other than that, and pretty much everything, he dies in.

Possibly a relation to Heisei Tanuki Gassen Ponpoko, a children's anime by Miyazaki. There's a scene where the Tanuki's use their scrotums as parachutes. And then fight with them. Yes. It has raccoons fighting with their balls. For children. Crazy Japan.
