Leaf - Joins automatically during the story.

Dorothy - Select the first option when talking to her ("弟子にしてくれ" or something; has a fairly low MATK(?) requirement), then talk again and select the option that replaces it. Kill the special enemies one screen north of her house, one screen south of her house, and the first screen of the ranch. Talk to her again and report.

Victoria - enter the backdoor of the boss room of the city filled with girl zombies. Talk to her several times, choose the first option (soul transfer) when prompted. (costs 5000 souls).

Jeanne - Obtain her ashes where you fought the intro boss. Obtain an item dropped by the boss in the poison marsh northeast of the forest. Find an NPC skeleton shopkeeper in the skeleton labyrinth (northeast of the destroyed town). Talk to him twice, and with the materials in hand talk to him again("Revive Jeanne" or something). Then talk to her and select the first option (soul transfer).

Catherine - After progressing someway through the game, talk to her and her escorts in the hub (unsure if this step is needed). Progress slightly again; when they are gone from the hub, head to the skeleton labyrinth and find her. Kill the two enemies, then talk to her; select the first conversation option ("It's dangerous here" or similar). Head to the destroyed town's cathedral (boss room). She should be there. Talk to her and select Summon Jeanne, or something like that (Jeanne must be obtained as a companion).

Elma - The Pied Piper of Hamelin in the sewers must be killed. Meet her in the town with female zombies first (unsure if this step is needed). After reaching the gate of Lost Empire (the gate with 4 locked crystals), go back to her house. Reach and kill the enemy before it reaches her; if the Pied Piper is dead, she should be in the eastern part of the hub. Talk to her until she joins.

Goose - Rescue her from the ranch with one key (this step MUST be done early in the game; right after finishing the junk forest may be a good time). Deposit a decent amount (~10k or more?) of souls in her bank service. She should be gone after killing/contracting one of the four Princesses; meet her in the tent in the marsh northeast of the forest. Select the bottom option ("許さない") three times, then select the top option ("傍にいる").

Elizabeth - After progressing someway through the game, she should be loitering in the northern part of the hub. Talk to her, and then head to the junk forest; an enemy in the same area as the talking flower will drop a ring. Talk to her, and give her the ring (first option?). Talk to her again in the hub center, and choose the third option. Don't tell Red Hood to talk to her mother.

Miranda - Get 5+ Karma and head to the underground poison lake (frog princess area). If the atmosphere and BGM changes you're in the right place. Find and defeat her (note: attacks cannot be dodged or parried, frequently counters physical attacks). Choose the first option.

Maybe I'm just not very perceptive, but I'm having trouble finding out how to start a new game+ in the first Black Souls. I've looked through the thread a bit and even though I've seen the question asked a few times, I haven't been able to find an answer. I've checked a few obvious places in the game, like the recollection room, but I can't seem to find the option. How do you start a new game+ in Black Souls?

When you get an ending there should be an orb in the first/fairy forest, same map as the statue and npc who you pay to lower your sins, that orb takes you to new game+

Ah, there is indeed an orb on that map. Thank you very much. I had actually gone into that map to check the difficulty statue, but it seems I should have been more thorough.

Hello, I had a question. After I saved Goose (Which I did first out of nowhere (and yea at low level fighting boars)) I continued the game but Goose never appeared as an ally, which made me very confused as the only way I could get her was by rape after saving. Did I do something wrong in saving her too fast??

After you first save her, she moves into the right side of the Holy Forest and acts as a bank of sorts.

Spoiler: Then to get her as a party member

Deposit some souls, then go rest, she'll disappear. You'll find her again in the tent in the Sea of Trash, save before talking to her.

What Rare_Cats said isn't wrong, but I'm also pretty sure there's another trigger somewhere; I know I played for at least a couple of hours and defeated some bosses before Goose did her thing. Try going beyond the ranch and defeating some additional bosses. Maybe clearing Rapunzel or Snow White are requirements.

For the goose walktrough:
1st. go to ranch to meet her ans save her from shackle (just use universal key)
2. after beating 1 boss assumeably she will be on the right side of your base doing a bank business, deposit some soul.
3. after beating more boss --> progression... she suddenly dissapear from her bank spot
4. go to swamp from north --> east side of the base, inside tent you will see her there 2nd time
5. there will be alot of choice here but please choose to keep forgive her
6. once she back to her bank spot, u can H here from the back.. [END]

PS: pretty sure there a JP wiki walktrough for blacksoul 1-2 somewhere posted in this thread or then blacksoul2 thread

Can somebody tell me how many "need to save early" girls are? So far I saved the maid, the harpy. Now I am waiting for the lamia to come for the match girl. I already killed hamelin

hansel + gretel - dont pick bread on the way to the house
little match girl - kill hamelin --> go to her house --> clear cat kngiht in castle --> back to her house kill her mom --> if hamelin alive u failed here --> go to ur base east side

elizabeth --> meet her --> progress --> talk to her on north side of camp looking for ring --> find ring in forest (1 of the mob that just newly appear 2 map before the house) --> give her ring dont ask for any compensation
jeanne --> just ressurect her need ash from her dead place and some kind tentacle from swamp boss --> inside of all skeleton cave
saint "something forgot name" --> talk to her at ur base --> in the skel cave go down and save her from 2 mob --> back to the ruined town inside church where u fight dogy
Mira or whatever the black girl --> have more than 5 karma --> go to the frog princess swamp and beat her --> recruit her and done
red riding hood --> sorry i forgot... i think u can recruit her once after progression --> important note: in base when she ask if that elizabeth her mother say NO --> wrong choice will turn elizabeth into monster.
Edit: the forgotten 1 - dorothy: clear her request killing 3 (boss?) and done
forgotten 2: maido --> just give her soul and done in the mansion where u kill idiotic giant
