This has been dead for almost 2-3 months. Kathy has quite plainly stated a few times that she has no desire to continue it at this time. Thread Necromancy won't change her mind too much.
(Both. RL I had to do some traveling which has kept me only poking at a few threads. And general block on the LOZ thing. Sorry for the delays taking so long, but promise I'm getting back to this.)
@lurker: sorry, but what part of this post says anything about not wanting to continue this COYA. How I read it is that this break is due to RL issues and writers block that is stopping it from advancing right now but it will eventually return. We just have to be patient and wait. Plus you never know the thread poping back up on the front page might show Kathy that people still have interest in this COYA and might get the COYA back up and running.

I've already explained in other places why the CYOA died off so abruptly, and the reasons for it haven't changed. I lost all interest in continuing it very quickly, for various reasons, and currently have no intention of starting it up again.

I had intended to continue it when I had that trip and various side issues. Then *ehem* other things came up which completely killed my interest in continuing this CYOA.
I'm actually kinda shocked that so many people are still interested in this. It makes me grin to myself (for undisclosed reasons) that of all the things that could be necroed and shot down, my thread is necroed and everyone comes begging for more.

No promises, but I'll consider a relaunch and continuing the story. Just give it time and see if inspiration hits me again. And hope that the reasons for helping kill it the first time don't prevent it from being restarted.

I always praise a good "maybe" above a lot of other possible answers. I would very much like to see this rebooted, I had even had a good Linkette/Manpona pic in my head I was wanting to draw because of this CYOA.

Personally I've always loved the Zelda series and putting a little H into it just makes it that much better. However, even though this particular CYOA didn't exactly appeal to my libido at times, I have major respect for the time and effort you've put into this, Kathy. Maybe even because it didn't appeal to my senses at the time - it shows you were trying to cater to the masses, not just yourself. Hell, I'm not even willing to rp sex on this forum, much less some of the fetishes you went into.
That said, I'm not even interested in the continuation of this project for the sex aspect... I want to know what you planned to do with the storyline! Seemed like you had something at least fairly complex planned out, and that's mostly the reason why I was disappointed to see that this had fallen by the wayside.
Hopefully we've sparked your interest enough to continue with this, seems like a forum-wide unanimous feeling.
Count me in as one of the people who are hoping for you to continue this. As Alias noted, asides from the sex factor in the CYOA, I found myself genuinely intrigued by the storyline...and was disappointed when it ended so abruptly. Here's to hoping you continue it!
I am also in favor of a continuation. I know my request for some of the H earlier might've been a bit much for some our more squeamish members, and justifiably I was neg repped for it. However, it was a very entertaining read, a good story and fun to be a part of; with or without H (for me the H was sort of the icing on the cake ).
I'm taking a couple days to rebuild some of my notes and get a feel for the direction I was going again. I 100% had a storyline and idea for parts that were going to play out. That's a major requirement for me, actually having places a story is going to go. The general open-worldedness that I was allowing, with everyone able to opt to go anywhere they wanted with the wild range of travel votes between actions, means that you could've ignored the story I had at any time (and more than once went someplace I didn't think you would), but that simply meant pushing a few parts ahead.
If I recall correctly...
Link is currently the ruler of the Zora. After an extended battle with the fake ruler, you managed to kick him out and now have a few days time before they're going to return to re-conquer your kingdom.
Saria seems to be utterly missing, as are several of the other sages. The trip to the forest to find her turned out... Poorly. You've found Ruto, but she's been driven out of the lands, and you've gotten enough info to realize that something big is in the works.
I also added the "Lewd Stamina" system to balance out acting slutty with punishments for doing so, and adjust for her actions to be more openly sexual or more repressed depending on her needs. (Compass of Time spell to change her state.)
Cremia is in deep, deep trouble. The Gerudo of Termina are practically enslaved and doing the dirty work of the Gormon brothers... Lots of little side things are going on still...
Wearing Grey Outfit (rather exposing, may suffer Lewd Stamina Damage more easily, especially if defense against it is low).
(GO1 Condition) High Libido.
Inventory: Hero's Bow (35 /35 arrows). Hookshot. Bomb Bag (4 / 10 bombs) 6 Deku Nuts, 2 Deku Sticks. 1 Bottle (Empty). "Goron Market" Key. Dr. Mizumi's Book. Multi-Pictobox (10 rupees to take a picture). Dorodock's Collar. Slave Scorecard (For Link, very high ranks). Gormon/Gerudo secret plans. Compass of Time Spell.
Picture Sets: Link and the Hylian groped at the Inn. Link/Epona in the Stables. Link/Ruto Hugging. Link and Pamela, Biri Egg Birthing, Spiderhouse Rape/Guro.
Companions: Kasuto Lake Biri (May be worn, Electrical attacks), Epona (For Riding), The Bombers (cannot be summoned, but give many bonuses if in the right place to assist).
Songs: Song of Soaring, Epona's Song (Epona and Biri Variations), Saria's Song (Ruto Variation), Song of Time (GO Recovery - Causes lasting penalties.)
Owl Statues: Hyrule Field, Kasuto Field.
... Think I'm going to be posting some new stuff shortly. Don't expect updates TOO quickly, I may only post weekly or so. But I'll try to match my former posting, as I both enjoyed writing it, and having just glanced back over it myself, enjoy reading it too <3

Actually this is why I put so many warnings all over the areas where I went exceptionally far. I don't want to disallow any branch of kinks that Link (or other characters) stumble into. If they end up in something dirty, they're going to get it, and that's that.
If anyone doesn't want to read certain parts... I've always tried to spoiler-cut HEAVILY on parts that need it, going so far as to have 3 spoiler tags with warnings on each step as it got progressively worse when things went far enough to start really disturbing people.
Just a few things to add in, as background for the story...
I am taking inspiration from several older zelda games as well. Pre-MM/OoT. But I am NOT taking any inspiration from the newer games... (yet, parts of this may change if it gets requested enough.)
The LS system is staying as it is, but may be slowly refined as I think of new ideas to adjust it.
I know where the main storyline was headed, and have picked up most of my side-story pieces by rereading some of my posts. But if I accidentally 'forget' parts, miss something, or contradict anything I've said earlier... Please tell me. There's a good chance that I may simply not remember it after the delay from the last time I posted on this, and I had a LOT planned out before. So pointing something out that I overlook may revive pieces of the story I'd forgotten about.
Spoiler-heavy H-scenes will continue. Additionally, if any specific requests to see something come up, I may write a gaiden about it (side story) if it gets enough interest.
As for a new project.. I'd kicked around a few ideas, and may launch one or two at some point. At least two new CYOAs, and one new idea that has some CYOA qualities, but also plays out heavily like a typical PbP game. Might write up more info on them later, but not in this thread most likely.
Oh, the PbP/CYOA sounds interesting. Do you know if you plan on that being a community CYOA deal or plan on making individual threads (DG, Pit, etc.)? Either it might be interesting and fun to get into.
ZOMG I'm soo happy to see this is starting back up again it was always a great read to read any on Kathy's new updates to this story. it takes a classic game played many times growing up and adds a bit of a twist to it yay
I've been lurking these Linemarvel forums for a few years now, (probably will go back after this post) but I just created an account here, to say on behalf of all other lurkers, great job on this CYOA, and I am really glad to hear you wll be starting it up again!
