I was under the impression that you could only lock off your chosen girl near the very end of the game in Leane. That's what I remember at least.
if you use one girl in fight 24/7, she can be lock pretty fast.(Marion for example need only few enemy towns to end her storyline).
I like Lean just fine, but it was an SRPG. While Leane was decent (and many thought it was) SRPGs take an unfortunate hit for being SPRGs to begin with. There aren't many people willing to play an entire game of risk for some pr0n. Most people will settle down and play an RPG though because they are playable erotic novels.
I rather liked the system put in Leane, because it had a sort of a timer before your girl turned against you. Reminiscent of the real world, some people get a serious case of Stockholm syndrome and end up fighting you instead of fighting for your side until you talk sense into them.
I think the system that is being put into this game has a very good chance at outdoing the one from Leane.
Truth Be Told, i didnt talk about entire system in game like battles, map managment and etc, i only say about part about Hero/Baron lock.
Not only girls can turn against you, some male if you dont use them at all can betray you and capture one of heroine and you will need save them.
But its need alot of time so this system works and not everyone ever see that in they're first and last playground.
The biggest addition to Leane that I would have liked is if the enemy had a "spy" action where they could capture a girl from one of your occupied settlements and then they'd be in the jail as if they had fought and lost as normal. The way it is now you basically have to lose girls on purpose. I think the Baroque system is very well done as it is.
I hope we get some more info about Dungeon & Bride soon. The new website is nice, but it's mostly just the same info that was already in the blog.
Yes, game ai lack of the system like that, but it totally understandable, game don't looks so popular in japan, so dev crew have limited in possibilities to do advanche system like: enemy spys, dyplomacy, etc.
and i think they never will pay off in "just porn game".
In leane if you managed to max heart a girl she was basically taken out of the baroque selection system. I think she could still be captured though. A issue both leane and this game share is it focuses mainly on the pre relationship status and kinda ends once you secure the girl in a relationship. Alot of potential kinda abandoned there but I'll be happy as long as the NTR is AI pushed and doesn't require me to specifically give up girls to NTR, i.e. "today i put so and so in bed with roger because I want them to bang." It should be more "I screwed up my choices now Roger has banged so and so."
Heres hoping well get a release date soon. NTR well is kinda dry right now.
Yes, that was i mean, Vndb description says: Harem System”! [NTR], but it's not ntr, they are not your wifes or girlfriend by default, but once they become yours they cant be NTRed (by Baron).
When played demo vesion, in random dungeon you can face Caveman, so they can capture your companion and rape her so its will end your relationship with her, that what i dont like at all.
there are exist some cool ntr games what never will be translated, whats is very disappointing.
