Hope don't actually ask an instructor for a PRC-E6, it would be ugly. I don't think your stupid enough to fall for something like that, but you never know. You are going to be an officer after all. Don't forget to take a box of grid squares, and some chem light batteries with you though.

I'll looking at going in as a SWO, or Surface Warfare Officer. I'll be given a department of the ship to run. I'm pretty sure I'll be heavily relying on my non-coms and eating regular doses of humble pie until I get the hang of the job, but I've got a lot of leadership and management experience. I hope that experience will translate into useful skills once I've figured out my job pretty well.

Even so, I'll be lost at first. It's a rather frightening proposition and I just hope I can do a good job and take care of the people in my command.

Well that's what NCO's do, trust me I've taken care of plenty lieutenants in my time spent in the service. Just don't be afraid to ask for advice, they'll trust you more if you do. It makes sense to be afraid, I can't even remember how many times I've wondered if I made good decisions for my squad. Just remember it's natural to be afraid and you'll be fine.

Okay I think I got all that... Except for you Lurker, they only come in twenty packs apparently, so... Matchbox 20 good enough for you? :)

Oh yeah and Newbie, the only shore line I found was of the swamp variety, apparently its really good for building houses on, whatever that means...

Seriously though, that sucks. I would suggest pointing out that since it has a limited amount of installs (I think), you should keep at least two, one for emergencies and one if you get a newer computer for college/university/whatever. Since most install counters limit you to three, and with the one you've already used on your current computer, that limits your options pretty well down to zero. If you can install it as much as you want, I would just put my pride aside and give it to her, since you aren't losing anything out of the deal. Just my two cents (Canadian). :)

Going to be gone until Sunday or Monday night, so for all RP's my characters are on a temporary leave. Don't wait up for them, I can catch up.

Seriously though, I might be intermittent this week. The cable company is updating some cable in the area. They are supposed to be done by 5pm each night.... but you know how those people are.

Oh and...
